Auberge Kicking Horse Guest House

The Auberge offers 3 rooms with private ensuite bathrooms. Please note, one of the bedrooms is set as 2 single beds. Within walking distance of downtown Golden and 15 minutes drive to Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. This accommodation is surrounded by beautiful old growth pine trees making this location private and quiet. Enjoy a large outdoor Jacuzzi tub, Wifi access, drying facility for ski boots and clothing. The Auberge offers an open kitchen and living room area with a harvest wooden kitchen table.

In the summertime, you will find a large landscaped backyard with a netted gazebo furnished with couches offering an outdoor living space protected from mosquitos to relax and enjoy the light of the long summer evenings. From the living room patio door, you will walk onto a wooden deck furnished with comfortable outdoor furniture and a jacuzzi tub.
The location offers access to walking and mountain biking trails with beautiful views.
Please note the owner lives in the basement suite of the house which has its own private entrance.

Large kitchen with all the amenities and more. Hot tub was a nice end of the day relaxation spot. Extra toilet paper, ziplocks, aluminum foil, spices, even coffee beans. Comfortable beds.

A Great Place To Stay In Golden

Two adult friends and I stayed here and enjoyed the three separate bedrooms with bathrooms attached. The hot tub was great as well.

The house was well-appointed with everything you need, and floorplan was perfect for our extended-family stay. In fact, I said to my husband that if we ever build a house, this is the floorplan I would choose! :) Marie-France was an attentive and helpful host. We appreciated that all the bedrooms had their own bath and that the neighbourhood felt very safe allowing us to sleep with the windows open.

Christmas with 6 adults

We enjoyed our stay. Extremely well stocked kitchen, each couple had an ensuite bathroom, lots of space to hang out in together and a great host. We’d stay here again! She also had a Christmas tree up which was a nice touch.

Cozy House in Golden

Great house to rent in Golden - especially for couples travelling together as each room has an ensuite and is comparable in size. Lots of thoughtful touches like robes, hot tub towels, and one of the best stocked kitchens I’ve encountered! The hot tub was great after a day of skiing. Hosts were kind and overall a great stay.

Three friends and our husbands enjoyed our stay at Auberge Kicking Horse Guest House for three nights. Each couple was happy to have their own bedroom and bathroom, and the kitchen was well appointed with lots of dishes, pots, pans, spices and other amenities. We came in late July and were wishing for air conditioning one night, but the other nights were pleasant with the windows open. It is a quiet neighborhood, and the beds and living room furniture were quite comfortable. The host was very cordial and accommodating.

A beautiful and comfortable home

This lovely home is situated in a quiet neighborhood, away from the rail lines and town noise. The home is beautifully presented and offers a very comfortable stay. Summer Family Weekend Away

We were in Golden for a friend's wedding and were looking for a place to accommodate my husband and I, my in-laws and my two children (3 and 1) - this was the perfect place! It has 3 rooms each with their own bathroom, a spacious living area and well equipped kitchen, and the best back yard to let the kids burn off some energy. Marie France was a great host and made our stay wonderful. I would book here again in a heartbeat!

I grew up in Montreal and moved to Western Canada in 1993. Being a very avid skier and outdoors person I lived in the Bow Valley (Banff / Canmore AB) for 10 years. After discovering Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, we fell in love with the resort and its surroundings. We moved the family to Golden and opened the Auberge and have been running the Auberge for 17 years as a successful Bed & Breakfast.

It is the privacy and how quiet the neighborhood is. The property is away from the railway yet close to downtown and located in a circle which makes the location safe and private.
