Summary:
Stunning penthouse apartment with panoramic mountain views, a rooftop deck and private hot tub. This huge 2000 sq ft property is luxuriously appointed with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Relax by the fireplace, enjoy the private hot tub or hotel pool, and luxuriate with 5 * hotel linens and towels, complimentary local Rocky Mountain Soap Co bath products, and fresh local Eclipse coffee! Private high speed internet and a dedicated workspace should you need it. 10 minute walk to downtown Canmore!
The Space:
Located 15 minutes from Banff and approximately one hour from Calgary, this home away from home comes with a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely South-facing covered patio to enjoy a glass of wine or early morning coffee, and the fresh mountain air. Wood floors, granite countertops, gas fireplace and high end furnishings complete the luxury feeling. The bed and bath linens are 5-star hotel quality, and professionally laundered. The condo has private high-speed internet so you can enjoy all your personal streaming channels.
We love where we live, and we love to share it with guests, so when you stay with us we welcome you properly, with added touches such as freshly roasted local coffee and locally made, 100% natural Rocky Mountain Soap bath and body products. The entire apartment is kept clean using only eco-friendly cleaning products (no nasty chemicals here!).
The apartment is on two levels and is best suited for families or groups of friends in 3 spacious, well appointed bedrooms. The upstairs master suite has a huge bathroom with a soaker tub. Also on this level is the rooftop deck and hot tub, with seating for the whole tribe. On the main floor is the kitchen, bathroom with combined tub/shower, living room, dining room (seats 8) and two spacious bedrooms (one with king bed, one with two queen beds). Grand Rockies Resort amenities offer a pool, waterslide and communal hot tubs to relax in after a day of adventure, and if you want to work off dinner, there is a small but functional gym on the 3rd floor. If you don't fancy cooking there's a great restaurant on site, and a couple more within a 5 minute walk.
Our summer calendar fills fast so we recommend you book early or send us a message if you have any unanswered questions. If you are traveling on a budget, we are always ready to strike a deal in the quiet season! Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire apartment, and it is not shared with anyone else. Guests may also use the two child friendly pools and shared indoor/outdoor hot tubs on the main level, plus the restaurant/bar.
The Neighborhood:
Grande Rockies Resort is conveniently located near the highway, allowing a quick arrival and exit to your adventures in the national park and surrounding areas. Blake Restaurant is literally next door, and the best coffee shop in town (Eclipse Coffee) is across the street. There's also a small retail area 2 minutes walk away (Shops of Canmore) and our beautiful downtown is just a 10 minute walk.
Getting Around:
Canmore is small and easy to get around on foot, by car or by public transit. There is public transportation around Canmore, and to/from Banff. Information about Canmore Roam Transit timetables are provided in the condo.
Other Things to Note:
There are internal stairs in this property.
Pool maintenance: On January 12th through January 14th the annual pool slide maintenance, hot tub and wading pool will commence.
It is estimated it will take three days to complete all maintenance.
January 12 and 13th the pool will be drained and closed. The hot tub and wading pool will remain open during this time.
January 14th the wading pool closed from 8 am to 12:00 pm for maintenance. The pool and hot tub will be open.
Interaction with Guests:
We are professional vacation managers who live in town and will happily offer as much or as little support as you need during your stay. Talk to us for advice on hiking, biking, skiing, restaurants etc. If you need specific equipment for your stay that you don't want to buy, get in touch and we'll see if we can help.
