Beautiful two story 2nd row home is just steps from the sand and sea. Spanish Grant Subdivision is a short drive to the Seawall, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbhan, Strand, Pleasure Pier and many other Galveston favorites including restaurants.

Decorated in festive colors and cheerful, beachy furnishings, Tan Camp is a fantastic summer vacation home for up to ten people. Enjoy expansive ocean views while kicking back on the balcony overlooking the cool blue waters of the Gulf.

This home comes fully equipped with a gourmet kitchen complete with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Gather for a big meal at the dining table. Or take a break from the sand and sun on the lower patio and eat a picnic style lunch while enjoying the view and the sound of the waves.

This home requires stairs to access, NO ELEVATOR!

Settle in for a night of board games or watch a movie in the comfortable family room. Stunning views from all of the main rooms! The master bedroom features a king size bed and French doors leading out onto the upper balcony—enjoy your own private view. Or take a nice long soak in the oversized tub, which boasts views of the beach and the waters of the Gulf. Two additional bedrooms have queen sized beds and the fourth bedroom, with two bunk beds, is great for kids!

With the beach just 330 feet away guests are sure to leave tan and happy!

The Perfect House

This house was perfect for our family 9! The home is decorated nicely and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. You really can’t beat the closeness and convenience of having the home so close to the beach. We will be booking again for next year!

Wonderful stay

Tan Camp is an exceptional house. Great location, steps from the beach, beautiful views, quite area. This house is one of the best stocked houses we have ever stayed in. Plenty of room for our 6 adults and three kids under 6. We will definitely be back.

GREAT Property!

This was a great property. It was clean and great for a big family. Plenty of kitchen equipment and pots and pans for cooking! Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms! Also, very close to beach. The outdoor space was also great for hanging out and enjoying the beach view.

This house was so wonderful! 1 minute walk to the beach was nice especially with our 1 and 4 year old. We found the water hose and outside bathroom with a shower extremely helpful. The house was stocked with everything we needed for cooking meals, beach toys, chairs, and more. We would definitely stay here again!

The location is great, an easy walk to the beach. the view from the upper balcony was beautiful! The neighbor was quiet. This house is exactly as advertised. It was clean, the kitchen has more than enough pots and pans, utensils, and they are in good conditions. This was the best vacation rental we have had.

We loved the views of the beach from both decks. Plenty of patio furniture to enjoy the view. Nice quiet neighborhood. The walk to the beach is very short and the beach is not crowded at all. The house matches what you see in the pictures. The kitchen is well stocked with pans and dishes. We are very glad we chose this house. If we came back to Galveston we would stay here again.

Memorable Getaway!

Beautiful large property! We had a blast! Nice balcony with great ocean views. You can hear the ocean waves. This property has soap, pots, pans, Keurig and everything else you may need to make your stay comfortable. Only complaint was the older lady neighbor - to the right, she was very grumpy and rude to my teenage son and I.

Fun in the sun (and clouds)

Beach home had everything we needed. Brought our adult kids and two grandkids and we all had a great time. Loved the deck gate at the top of the stairs on lower porch and kids tables inside and out with a few toys in the bunk room for 16 month old and 4 year. Very thoughtful. Beautiful view of the water on upper deck. Would love to stay again.

The house is absolutely beautiful! Very clean with spacious rooms. All bedrooms are large and the 3 indoor full baths are large as well. Kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and all kinds of cookware. It was nice to have the kitchen cabinets and drawers labeled. The living room is large enough for everyone to enjoy watching TV or playing games. The home is spacious to accommodate a large group of people. Just steps to the beach. Looking forward to visit again!

Great place to stay!

We loved our time here! The home was tastefully decorated and had all the nice touches of home. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The stairs were steep and not carpeted. That was the only thing I didn’t like because we have young kids who aren’t used to stairs. The gate at the top of the stairs outside was helpful. A baby gate at the top of the second floor stairs would be an excellent addition.

The house had everything that we needed and more! I appreciated all of the communication from Coastal Waves! They kept in touch along the way and I always knew what was next! We did a last minute booking and the management company was very helpful. The house is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. Very family friendly. The layout and decor is homey and comfortable. Beautiful, clean house with great views and just steps from the pedestrian only beach. The location is excellent, just a few miles from the seawall. Neighborhood is very nice with well maintained homes. The A/C on this large 2 story home worked great, something we have had problems with in other beach homes. Highly recommend this rental, best we’ve ever had and we have rented a lot of them over the years! This will be the place we will try to book every time from now on.

Annual Family Fun!

We’ve been going to Galveston with our kids and (now) our grandkids for years. We’ve stayed at a variety of the hotels, condos and homes throughout Galveston. Some good. Some not so good. Tan Camp in Spanish Grant is definitely one of the better locations we’ve stayed at. It’s got a great location with beach access, it’s reasonably priced, and it’s a well maintained/clean home that’s just the right size for our group of 10. The home was recently updated with fresh paint and new flooring. There are great covered decks on both the main floor and the second level off the main bedroom. It’s close enough to the seawall and all its offerings - yet far enough off the beaten path for a little bit more seclusion. Visited there four of the past five years, and honestly, I wish it had been five out of five.I sort of hate giving such a good review, because I wanna make sure it’s available for us next time! Haha!

Location, Location, Location!!

The house overall was outstanding! The location was a 1 min walk to the beach. The house was very clean and well-stocked. The kitchen has literally anything you could need. There were plenty of bath towels. There was an outside shower, beach chairs, boogie boards and a grill. There was plenty of outside seating to enjoy the view while you eat. The communication with the management company prior to our trip could not have been better. They were extremely responsive to all my questions. The only less-than-amazing thing I can say is the water pressure in the showers is not super strong. We had an amazing time and would absolutely rent this property again!
