About this property

Great Cottage Just Steps From The Beach! "Deck Side"

This two bedroom, one bathroom unit is part of a duplex cottage across the street from Craigville Beach. This unit is the "Wooden Deck" (please see our other listing for the "Grassy Knoll" side unit #1066510) and boasts a large deck with picnic table with a water view, a master bedroom with king bed, and second bedroom with bunk beds (twin over full). All the beds were replaced in 2022. The unit includes a full bathroom, fully stocked kitchen, hi-def flat screen cable tv/internet, washer/dryer, outdoor shower, gas grill, and central air conditioning. We have everything you need including beach chairs and toys so that you can simply relax and enjoy your Cape vacation! You have the option of renting one unit or both (each unit has its own side and front door entrances; however the two units are able to connect to become one larger cottage with double amenities) SHEETS, TOWELS AND PILLOWCASES ARE NOT PROVIDED. NO PETS/NO SMOKING ALLOWED IN OR ON PREMISES.

The house itself is in a great neighborhood across the street from Craigville Beach, with beachside snack bars just a few feet down the road. The water is warm and perfect for swimming. Spend the day at the beach or exploring the area including Hyannis and Osterville, which are only minutes away! WEEKLY RENTALS ONLY PLEASE.

Great Beach Vacation Home

This was a great house to stay at for close access to the beach. The listing description and photos were very accurate. It was awesome to come here and have a fully stocked kitchen and beach equipment readily available. You can’t beat the quick walk across the street to the beach! Covell’s beach was very family friendly and not crowded at all during the week. The town was great if you are looking for a non-tourist spot that is family friendly. We will be back!

Perfect location to easy beach days

The craigville beach/ coville beach are literally right across the street. The deck had a view of the beach/ water. Few restaurants less than a mile Away. Pictures are exactly what it is- highlights are location, deck and outdoors shower. I did have to call rental agency about ants and they took care of the situation immediately. They should invest in curtains and blinds let all of the light in. Check in was easy and we enjoyed our time

Ideal location, clean cottage!

My husband, toddler and I had a wonderful stay at this property in September 2020. Everything was exactly as advertised, no surprises or problems. We were a little hesitant to book initially because it didn't have air conditioning but we found the fans and windows were completely sufficient for the September weather (upper 70's during the day). The property manager responded promptly to the couple of questions we had. The best part is the location. We could walk back and forth to the beach all day which is ideal with a toddler. The house was stocked with a wagon, chairs and beach toys. There are also some great neighborhoods to walk and explore in.

Great property! 1 minute walk to beach

My husband, 1 year old and I loved staying here in July 2020. They had everything in the listing, plus a pack n play, a booster seat and a wagon for transporting the baby to the beach! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need for the week - including garbage bags, dish soap, laundry soap, etc. Brand new grill on the deck as well. You can see the water from the master bedroom and the kitchen which was really cool. I think it is the best location in the neighborhood. Great backroads where we would go on walks throughout the week - even found a little park with a couple slides and swings. The only minor thing was that most of the closets and cabinets were pretty full so there wasn’t much storage for empty suitcases/stroller/etc, but the rooms are large enough we just kept them out. We would love to come back again!

The property was perfect for what we were looking for, very clean and tidy right across from beach

My only recommendations would be to make sure there are garbage bags, a BBQ Grill brush, some dish towels, and maybe some ant traps. The property was perfect otherwise. We were told we would only need our own linens and beach towels. It had two bedrooms, a kitchenette, living room, cable tv, bathroom with shower, and laundry facilities, as well as a beautiful deck with a beautiful view. The deck chairs were cozy and the place was very clean. I would definitely return to this property. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay!

Adorable beachfront property

Everything we needed was there, and it looked recently updated. I would give it 5 stars, but only the lack of an a.c. window unit (which we knew in advance) holds back that star. Otherwise a great little beach cottage!

My husband and I currently live in New Hampshire with our three children and have been spending summers in the Cape since our childhood. We love the tranquility and peace that the ocean brings to our lives.

Why they chose this property

We had been fans of Craigville Beach and Centerville for years and when this property came on the market there was no way we were going to let it go!

What makes this property unique

The location of this cottage is tough to beat and perfect for our family. We love being able to have the ease of just popping across the road to go to the beach - knowing that our cottage is close by, so that we don't have to commit to spending a full day at the beach, and can come and go as frequently as well would like, even to just jump in for a quick dip after a long bike ride, or to make it a place to unwind at the very end of the day, when the sun is starting to set, and the waves are lapping at the shore. The fact that we are right across from the beach allows us to enjoy the ocean breeze, no matter what we are doing back at the house.
It just feels like a special respite for us, away from the usual business and chaos of our normal daily life (although wi-fi access allows us to always "stay connected").
