Beautiful home in comfortable neighborhood - We would return!

Nice home in a safe/nice area.. Everything you need is here. When you pull up the exterior is clearly very well maintained and beautiful. Entering the inside front garden and property itself, it's very nice and the music playing was a nice touch. We had been traveling for over 6 hours when we got to the house and just wanted to unload and relax. The provided cleaner and bleach wipes were appreciated. It was nice to do a quick wipe down of everything just for our own peace of mind. We settled in and started to look around. The amount of decor is very cute and welcoming. The air was turned on and the house felt awesome. A lot of effort was clearly put into making this rental comfortable and homey. Not sure how someone didn't find the couch comfortable (previous review) but we liked it! Beds were also VERY comfortable! That's a big one for us. Pool area was where we spent most of our time. The multiple umbrellas were essential to our using the pool in July during peak hot hours. Thank you for that! After some time in the home we found a few small items that could have been fixed that would have made this an all 5 star review. There was some noticeable deferred maintenance at this property. You expect scrapes in walls and bumps from traffic in and out. Master bath was a bit outdated, we had a showerhead that didn't work, stained bath towels in the master bath (badly stained) and a couple towels had long hair all over in them. We used the pool towels instead as they were new and in much better condition. The master closet had a broken drawer in the built in but instead of fixing it it had a label on it that said it was broken! We found the dead bug in the bathroom under the toilet roll holder. Maybe this is normal for CA but it def isn't for MN folks. Bikes in the garage had flat tires and the pump didn't work so we were unable to use them. Simple upgrades and maintenance would def make this place perfect. These items wouldn't keep us from returning but they did impact our stay minimally. Each time I reached out to the Mgmt. Company they responded promptly. The shower head was fixed the next day at our request. We had questions on garbage day etc. Deposit is very slow to be returned. I was told 14-21 days... 16 days later still haven't seen it.

The house was extremely beautiful and we enjoyed the spacious kitchen and front courtyard. The sofas are not comfortable however! Also the pool pump was not circulating during our stay.

Private oasis

Pictures did not do this place justice! The back yard came equipped with everything you could possibly want for a long weekend spent mostly outside. We had an amazing stay, and the staff was very communicative and prompt in resolving our few issues (there was some confusion over getting the spa heat working on our first night). We’d absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful stay!

This property was truly amazing. We appreciated walking into a sparkling clean place. The home was stocked with everything one would need for anything during our stay from cooking, pool area and the bathrooms. Seriously, bring your toothbrush and you should be set. We loved the location of the property. A little over a mile to all the great shopping and dining on El Paseo. We worked through the McClean Company for our stay and they were excellent to deal with. They were all prompt and professional with everything we needed. We will definitely be back and really appreciate everything!

It was my birthday and this private and very much peaceful paradise felt just like this could very much be made just for us,” ( my husband and children) just like home. We stayed for a few nights and wished we could do this more nights out of the years ! Definitely recommend this trip can’t wait to visit again !!

Casa Lavendar was PARADISE!

From the moment we pulled up to the house, we knew it was going to be a special stay. The neighborhood was beautiful & clean, the landscaping was impeccable and the entrance to the house was just beautiful as was every detail of the house from the moment we walked in. This was our first real trip since the pandemic and w/ I my husband being an essential worker, it was even more important for us to have a relaxing and special trip and Casa Lavender was a big part of why it was! There was only 2 of us so we didn’t use many parts of the home (like the extra bedrooms, the kitchen or the bbq outside), but it’s such a fabulous home whether it’s just a couple or a big family. We spent most of our time just relaxing at the pool (we paid ahead of time to have heated) and the hot tub. We loved all the umbrellas available to provide shade and the lounge chairs, couches and tables so that we could have daytime naps and meals outside. The mornings were slightly chilly so it was nice to have an outdoor heater as well (although after our 2nd day the tank ran out and the only way to refill was to do it ourselves and get reimbursed or have a person come out and do it, so we declined). The master bedroom was perfectly setup w/ a big comfy king bed, plus there is a sitting room in the master bedroom so you can watch TV (I used that space to set up our Apple TV and work out everyday). In the kitchen, there were endless options - for example they had crystal if you wanted a fancy dinner, but they also had casual flatware and plastic options to use at the pool. Other fun details were games like chess and puzzles set up at a cute 2-seater bar and I can’t say enough about the interesting and beautiful artwork in every single room and in the hallways. We were always discovering new art to look at every time we turned around. Throughout our entire stay we didn’t hear a peep from neighbors or any type of traffic which having a peaceful stay was super important to us. In terms of working with McLean, they were amazing! Easy to get a hold of by text for any questions we had, and always made sure to check in to see if we needed anything. We booked our stay for 5 days & regretted immediately we didn’t book the home for longer - but it was the start of spring break so we couldn’t extend our dates because the house was already booked. You know it was a memorable experience when you shed a tear when leaving 😄 Can’t wait to return!!

Elegant & luxurious accommodations

This home is off the charts with the level of amenities and quality of design! The floor plan is spacious and offers many indoor and outdoor areas to enjoy. The kitchen is a culinary chefs delight and entertainers dream with every utensil, appliance and specialty equipment you could ever ask for (although I couldn’t find a hot mitt!) LOL I would give all 5 stars but I didn’t realize there are extra fees if you want the pool or hot tub heated,. Since it was a cold January trip for us the water temp was around 50 degrees! :( Be sure to add it on (although I feel it should be included) and then order it ahead so it will be warm when you arrive. Other than that this home could not be any more perfect!
