Our guest house features two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen.
Washer and dryer, living room with Roku and high speed internet, central heat and air, whole house fan, all on a gated 2.2 acre property. Lots of parking, even room for a motor home or trailer. Large yard for your young ones to run around. We are one mile away from a Walmart and across the street from a new housing development that has a wonderful park and walking trails. We are also situated between two Sikh temples, Gurdwara Dasmesh Darbar Sahib and Gurdwara Sahib. Our property is fully fenced and gated.

Met our needs perfectly!

Lisa was wonderful! She was incredibly friendly, thoughtful and accommodating. The property was exactly what we were looking for. We felt safe and loved that it was out of town a bit, but still close to all we needed.

Lisa is the best. If you have dog, she has a dog cage you could used and she let your dog out of the cage to run around. The house is very clean everything you need is there. Short distance to Sacto. or Elk Grove. If need to shop everything was close by...

Charming, cozy and clean!!! We loved the property and wish we could have stayed longer!

Our stay felt immediately welcoming and was instantly relaxing. Everything from farm fresh eggs in the fridge (which were delicious!) to comfortable beds and bedding to an extremely clean home and gracious hosts! We thought about grilling our first night and Lisa immediately pulled out a grill for us to use! This property is the perfect spot for an extended visit to Sacramento and hands down, you cannot beat all of the comforts of home that Lisa and Tony have to offer in their guest house. It was perfect for our family of four. I would highly recommend this property and would look forward to another stay on my next visit to Sacramento/Elk Grove.

Very Comfy

Wonderful stay- ideal set up!

We had an absolutely perfect stay this weekend! We were in Sacramento for a wedding and had our dog with us. We booked somewhat last minute but Lisa was responsive and answered all of our questions incredibly promptly! Lisa was so warm and inviting from the moment we arrived. And as an added bonus, our dog Sadie had the best time playing with her dogs Cinco and Blanca! We were greeted with several sweet surprises including some delicious farm fresh eggs! We enjoyed the pool, the grounds and the very cozy cottage which was fully equipped with everything (and more!) that we could have possibly needed! We sincerely appreciated the hospitality and had such a wonderful stay! If we are up again, we would come back in a heartbeat! Thanks so much Lisa!

Feels like the country in the middle of a big city

The house was just what we needed. Our family was traveling for a soccer tournament and needed a restful place to stay. Lisa's property was clean, cute and my kids enjoyed playing in the pool and playing with her dogs. The kitchen was spacious and stocked with items we forgot. There is even a rooster near by for those that forgot their alarm.

Loved this place!

You will enjoy staying in this guesthouse from the moment you arrive! A safe, quiet neighborhood, close to Walmart and not far from plenty of shopping and restaurants. Lisa is a great hostess - leaving a basket of goodies to start off your stay and fresh eggs in the fridge! The home was fully fenced, so our dog had a fun time snooping around. I would highly recommend this place to stay!

All that we expected and more.

This was a great location for us. We were visiting family nearby. Lisa made us feel very welcome. This is a cute guest house on their property with all the amenities. We had plenty of room to spread out with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a kitchen/living area. Any questions, Lisa was right there to answer, but did not feel intrusive. We were given our privacy. This experience would make me want to rent on VRBO any time over staying in a hotel. Hopefully they'll all be a great experience like this one!! Denise.

Clean, well maintained, comfortable.

4 of us were in the area for a wedding. I am not the chain hotel type and almost always prefer to stay in a more 'homey' atmosphere. This was great for that. Lisa, owner, stayed up late to greet/meet us. She was warm and inviting and told us all that we needed to know. She gave a great recommendation for a 'breakfast spot'. Yum. Thank you !

Very homely clean and comfortable

Felt at home Lisa was very warm and welcoming upon our arrival. Our boys enjoyed the pool with the playful dogs. The house had all the amenities you would expect to have and use during your stay Close to San Francisco and Lake Tahoe. Also recommend visiting the national parks that are about 2-3 hours away Wine Country is close as well. We enjoyed the house while we were there as it is close to shopping as well. We will recommend family and friends to stay here.

Perfect Cozy Guest House

This was the perfect place we were looking for since we were travelling with dogs. We appreciate Lisa for letting us stay in their cozy guest home. It was fully equipped with all the essentials needed for daily living and made the stay that much more enjoyable knowing we had everything we needed besides our food. We were able to travel to Folsom in a timely manner, sky dive down the road in Lodi, and even made dinner reservations in Winters. Very nice place and highly recommended!!!

By far the best experience we have had renting someone's space

I sincerely do not know where to start. My husband is moving to Sacramento for a few months so we made a road trip of it to see him off. Our GPS got us a little lost but we quickly stumbled upon the property when I saw my name written in chalk on a chalkboard stand welcoming us all for our stay. The guest house was cozy and had everything we needed. Lisa & her husband were so inviting and it sincerely felt like we were staying with family. The guest house it detached from their home but we shared their backyard with them and their friendly pups. She left pool towels for us above the washer and dryer in the guesthouse (which made up feel more comfortable about swimming in their pool) She offered to put Blanca in the house while we swam because blanca is said to get a little excited but we didnt run into any issues & we encouraged the pups to swim with us (which they were happy to do) Lisa offered us full access to the property and even invited us to get fresh eggs from the chicken coop :) The guest house had heating, AC, wifi, cable & fully equipped kitchen with plenty of extra linen and pillows. We were so happy to meet them and are looking forward to staying again in the future.

Cozy Guest House in Sacramento

This is a wonderful home in which to stay, especially for those people who want to be with their pets. I recently had some work done on my home and had to move out for a few days. I located this great guest house a few miles away and they welcomed my family and dog. The guest house is charming, very clean, and well maintained and there is everything available in the kitchen that you would need. There were two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a lovely kitchen and dining/living area. The back door opens up to the swimming pool area which is shared with the owners. The best part about this residence is that it has acreage which is totally fenced and I could let my dog out to wander around, but I didn't have to worry about him. The place has chickens and children would just love to gather some eggs with the permission of the owners. This guest house is out in the farm country and you must drive to restaurants and other attractions, but that is a small price to pay for the lovely setting. The owners are gracious people and are available to help in any way possible. I would highly recommend this guest house.

Great Property on the edge of Sacramento

We enjoyed our stay at Lisa and Tony's property on the outskirts of Sacramento. We went as two couples with pets, and Lisa and Tony were kind enough to welcome us to their place. Their property is quite large for dogs, and is pet safe. The guest house was clean and had all the amenities we required making our stay very comfortable. Lisa gave us a great lay of the land, and provided us with the name of one of her favorite mexican restaurants which so good we went back a second time during our four day stay there. Although Lisa said the wifi was patchy, we had absolutely no problems using our wireless devices. We had a great experience meeting great people. The newly installed air condition system that they had installed made for comfortable sleeping at night. If passing though that part of the world we would happily return to their guest house to stay.

Cute, Cozy and Comfortable with a generous side of great hospitality!!!

This was the best experience I have had with any vacation home ever!!! Lisa was warm and welcoming and even had a personalized welcome sign close to the street so we wouldn't miss the drive!! What a great touch that was. The house was cute, cozy and comfortable. Plenty of room for all four of us and a small dinner for eight while we were there. Dining room table adjusted and we all had a great place to sit and eat and enjoy each other's company. Thank you Lisa and Tony for sharing your space with us and making our experience as near to perfect as anything could get!!! Kellie Sturgeon

Nice comfortable house in a nice area

I enjoyed our stay and the house was as advertised. I would have appreciated some better cooking tools since I wanted to make some meals for me and guests. I also thought we would be able to enjoy the pool and deck but the pool was not ready to swim in and their dog was a little big and defensive. I enjoyed the dog but i was afraid to let my old guy in the back yard with him. Overall we were satisfied, the owners said they would be making some upgrades and they are very nice.

Fantastic Stay!

We will come back and stay!! The owners pretty much adopted our little family as we stayed there for all most 6 weeks while I worked in the area. During this stay we made some great memories and even better freinds with the owners of this wonderful little house. We loved the fully enclosed yard so our 7 year old could run and play but most importantly be safe! Our 12 year old loved the dogs and chickens on the property. What a great find for my family. Thanks again to the owners, it feels like your now part of our extended family. I would highly recommend staying here to any one looking for a warm, safe place to vacation.

The children are grown and gone, and we still have an old Labrador that likes to follow us around. We are retired Air Force and roofing contractors. Our hobbies are gardening, taxidermy, traveling, and playing with our grandchildren

Why they chose this property

Our side of the road is still country. Across the street is a housing development with a nice walking trail and playground. There is a Walmart one mile up the road

What makes this property unique

Our property is special for many reasons. Once you drive down the long driveway you enter a park like setting. With fruit trees, a chicken coop, a large field for wandering, a park like backyard welcomes you to walk around and explore
