The Red Oaks Muskoka Waterfront Cottage

Take time to enjoy and relax in this newly built cottage home. Nestled amongst mature oaks and evergreens and only steps away from the waters edge this cottage features all the amenities one could imagine. With over 200 feet of waterfront you can enjoy both shallow and deep water from the boathouse docks. Whether bringing your own boat or opting to rent one the boat house is for guests use and can accommodate two boats approximately 30 feet in length. Via water we are located on the Lake Muskoka side of the Indian River narrows only minutes away from the Port Carling locks. This provides cottagers access to all three major lakes (Lake Muskoka, Rosseau, and Joseph). With our proximity to the Hub of Port Carling boat traffic is steady throughout the day. It’s a wonderful treat to watch the Segwun, North America’s oldest operating coal-fired steamship pass on by.

Ideal Muskoka Retreat

My family and I had an incredible time at the Red Oaks. The cottage was spacious, clean, had all of the comforts of home and had a great view. We spent our days swimming and fishing off the two docks and would have lunch on top of the boathouse watching boats pass by. The cottage is located down the street from Hanna Park and is a short drive from Port Carling for groceries, shopping or dinner. Andrea was an incredible host and did everything she could to make us feel at home. I highly recommend Red Oaks!

Incredible stay, will return!

Andrea and her husband Matt are wonderful hosts - they are responsive and very helpful, and their property is gorgeous. It was such a great week at their cottage. The newly refinished boathouse sun deck was perfection! I would recommend this place to anyone and will certainly be returning.
