The Eagle Nest Cottage is a cozy two bedroom cottage! Comes complete with a full kitchen, dining area, comfortable living room, and spacious deck. Dine outside with the included BBQ or stretch out and enjoy the stars at night while cozied around the fire pit. All you need to bring with you to have a great time is your clothes and food. We provide all the tools and toys to make your stay as relaxing as possible while Mother Nature provides the backdrop.Surrounded by mature hardwood trees on the shores of Sheep Island, Pomquet Beach Cottages will offer visitors a tranquil retreat in tasteful and well appointed Canada Select Four Star rated cottages. Our Cottages reflect the quality of the lodging, the little extras including friendly proprietor-led bilingual service, the ample choices of activities nearby and board games and books for those seldom rainy days.

Located near the gates of the Pomquet Beach Provincial Park, and just 20 minutes from Antigonish visitors will be treated to a three-mile sandy beach, perfect for that sunny afternoon. Relax on the life-guarded beach, take a walk or jog in the fresh salt air or enjoy the interpretive board-walk describing this, the best example of dune succession in Nova Scotia.

Cots are available upon request. We are a pet friendly location and are always happy to see our four legged guests! We can also accommodate group bookings, check out the other cottages bellow for details.

During your stay you’ll have access to our canoes and kayaks (please use responsibly and at your own risk), free wi-fi, and satellite TV including the movie package. BBQ's, playground, laundry facilities, fire pits, air conditioning are some of the amenities available.

Waterfront cottages

We stayed here twice while traveling the Cabot Trail. Each time the cottages were clean, well equipped and comfortable with great lakefront views. Having laundry facilities onsite was a bonus.

Impressive stay

We enjoyed being right in front of the water. The cottage was quite clean and emasculate. We loved the wood wall atmosphere. The manager was quite friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back to this cottage the next vacation to Nova Scotia.

We were only here for one night but wish it was more.

The cabin was spotless- we had everything we needed to cook our meals, wifi was fast and the view was spectacular. We spent a couple of hours at Pomquest Provincal Psrk that was right next door. All in all it was a great day!

Wish we’d had another day or two

Perfect spot to relax - the gorgeous beach only a couple of minutes away, the peaceful waterfront setting, canoes, kayaks, a variety of lawn games. All of this with a very low-key and welcoming vibe. The waterfront cottages feel like they were built last week: solid and quiet, nicely finished and furnished. My only recommendation would be about the beds. The ones we had were very soft. Even our 13 year-old noticed. Maybe time for some newer mattresses.
