The Deer Den Cottage is a cozy two bedroom cottage! Comes complete with a full kitchen, dining area, comfortable living room, and spacious deck. Dine outside with the included BBQ or stretch out and enjoy the stars at night while cozied around the fire pit. All you need to bring with you to have a great time is your clothes and food. We provide all the tools and toys to make your stay as relaxing as possible while Mother Nature provides the backdrop.Surrounded by mature hardwood trees on the shores of Sheep Island, Pomquet Beach Cottages will offer visitors a tranquil retreat in tasteful and well appointed Canada Select Four Star rated cottages. Our Cottages reflect the quality of the lodging, the little extras including friendly proprietor-led bilingual service, the ample choices of activities nearby and board games and books for those seldom rainy days.
Located near the gates of the Pomquet Beach Provincial Park, and just 20 minutes from Antigonish visitors will be treated to a three-mile sandy beach, perfect for that sunny afternoon. Relax on the life-guarded beach, take a walk or jog in the fresh salt air or enjoy the interpretive board-walk describing this, the best example of dune succession in Nova Scotia.
Cots are available upon request. We are a pet friendly location and are always happy to see our four legged guests! We can also accommodate group bookings, check out the other cottages bellow for details.

Spacious beautiful cottage with everything needed for good stay. Beach park short drive or easy walk, long shoreline walk there. Due to damp weather didn’t use kayaks that were available.

Quiet relaxing spot!
I stayed in this cottage with my mother, husband, best friend and two babies. We loved the size, even with an endless amount of baby equipment we had plenty of room to move around. The heat pump was greatly appreciated!! We have stayed in four other cottages this summer and none of them had air conditioning. Highly recommend this cottage for a family getaway.

So quiet, peaceful and clean!
We enjoyed our stay immensely, the cottage is beautiful, clean, quiet. We loved the air conditioning!!! The peaked ceiling and sky light was a lovely touch, beautiful lighting, just so cozy and relaxing. We will be back

Wonderful cottages on the ocean in Pomquet!
We stayed here for a family event. The cottages are absolutely wonderful! Spacious and conveniently located at the edge of the water. The owners are on site and are great people! You will not go wrong by renting this vacation getaway! A truly authentic Nova Scotian experience!
