Birubi Beach getaway at Anna Bay

Holiday on the absolute waterfront at Birubi Beach in Anna Bay, in this fabulous 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom home. Between May & September you can watch the humpback whales directly from your balcony and, if you're lucky, dolphins all year round! Explore the rocks and rock pools or simply play out the front on the grass reserve. A short walk takes you to the locals favourite, Birubi Beach, known to the locals as 'Morna Magic'. This magical location is where you can swim or surf at the patrolled beach. You will also find Crest Cafe and access to the famous Stockton Sand Dunes, where you can sandboard, 4WD, ride quad bikes or horses, or capture the breathtaking sunset on a camel ride. Experience a family holiday you will never forget, with everything within arm’s reach.

Upstairs, the spacious, open concept living area has been designed strategically to make the most of this unsurpassable location, with a wall of floor to ceiling glass windows drawing those truly spectacular and completely unobstructed ocean views in. The living area features a lounge area with flat screen TV, wifi, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, coffee machine and breakfast bar with stools, and an enormous 12-seater dining table. There is an air conditioner on the upper level and another one downstairs in one of the bedrooms. Additionally, fans are located inside the wardrobes. The indoors lead out to the glass-fronted front balcony overlooking the rugged and picturesque coastline – dine alfresco with the crashing of the waves and the spray of the ocean in the air.

Downstairs, you will find all 5 bedrooms. The 2 main bedrooms each feature a king bed and private ensuite with water views and access out onto the grass reserve area, while the remaining 3 bedrooms each offer 2 king single beds.

The main bathroom has a bath, shower and toilet, and the internal laundry offers a washing machine and clothes dryer. A double lock up garage features a separate games room equipped with a pool table and table tennis – fun for the whole family!

- Linen is provided at this property and beds will be made, ready for your arrival.
- There is NO guest access to the fireplace.
- This property is NOT pet friendly and there are to be no animals on the premises under any circumstances.

The house is situated in a great position and has great views. The layout is great and very comfortable for 10 people.The only thing I would improve on is the cleanliness in the house specially the big windows and balcony glass, there was a lot of spider webs and bugs.I would also make sure all amenities are all working right including shower and BBQ.The whole house needs a little bit more TLC.

Lovely house. Good spot

Great accommodations for extended family or friends. Location is great. House is well set up, for price. A bit tired here and there but clean and functional for groups. Would book again. Maybe a BBQ upgrade would be good.

Huge property

The stay was good. Sufficient room for a large group. Property was just by the beach with magnificent views. Only draw back is, one of the door is faulty. And maybe because it is exposed to the elements of nature, the balcony door handles are rusty. The balcony doors to the 2 main rooms downstairs are also hard to open. Probably time for maintenance.

Great aspect from main bedrooms and the upstairs kitchen living area was great, everything was well stocked with spare bar fridge handy, needs some remedial work to stop water entering main bedrooms around doors during storms. Fireplace chimney made a lot of noise during windy weather. Games room was great entertainment but could do with a few improvements to equipment.

The property is located in a good location the view of the ocean and sunsets were amazing swimming in the rock pools was ok the beach was close by so good the property has all you need for your stay it just is a little run down a few things we messaged to them that need attention after our stay and the property could be cleaner and not having a remote for the tv was annoying I understand it might get lost but not really worth not replacing you can charge whoever lost it and one more thing it isn’t private so if you like your privacy not suitable as it is a public walk way in the backyard of the property overall we did enjoy our stay

Finer details can make this s great

Great location and amazing views, however the property is in need of some work done and TLC to make it shine. Little things like ensuring the place is clean (ie grill, windows and curtains) and there are adequate utensils in the kitchen (ie a spatula!) can make this place spectacular. Upstairs living area is great for entertaining, but couches are worn out & some of the chairs at dining table are wonky. Pool table is a nice addition, but all the pool cues are broken and even the nets on on the pockets are torn, therefore balls keep falling on the floor.

Pros and cons for the property Location is great. View is amazing . Size of the property and bedroom configuration is great. Property itself is run down. Previous reviews stated dirty, roaches etc with a note stating this issue has been amended. I was worried about this and enquired before booking and was re assured that it was fine. It was not. Lots of roaches and bugs in carpet, inside all window sills if you open windows are filled with dead bugs and ants eating dead bugs. Kitchen roughly cleaned but not thorough. Bbq filthy. No kitchen cleaning spray provided . No basics like olive oil , sugar , salt or pepper . Luckily for us we weren’t precious but was a bit yuck and a shame because it could be incredible. Doesn’t need to be fancy but being clean should be a priority . Replacing carpet with floor boards would fix this issue completely ! Property manager did apologise for bbq and offered cleaning however this was offered day before we checked out so no point. Property manager was lovely and super polite though which always helps so would book with this holiday rental service again, but perhaps not this property .. undecided on that one!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property description was accurate regarding location, layout and nearby amenities. Nothing positive to report after this!The property was grimy and poorly serviced. It has not been maintained to a commercial standard.The owner and manager (Winning Port Stephens) did not provide good service. The managing agents are rude and dismissive of our legitimate concerns. We have rung Winning twice since our stay, but have not been shown the courtesy of a follow-up from the property managers Tanya or Anna.The owner sent painters to the house to measure it for a quote just after we arrived. No courtesy advice or notice was given and the managing agents were not aware that tradesmen were being sent to the house after we arrived.30-minute round trip to pick up key and same again to return it. No key safe available.Cobwebs and small spiders throughout interior . One guest bitten by an insect inside. Pest treatment required.Verandah and outside stairs are deteriorating, unpainted and at risk of rotting. Exposed nail heads on deck. One guest cut his toe.Deck wobbles when walking on it. Needs thorough repair and painting.Extremely hot water, ie no temperature limiter, so water in showers was scalding.Carpet throughout has numerous obvious stains: range/size/origins of stains (blood, urine?) and burns. Great views, walk to beach and eateries.

View was great but property a bit tired. Some lights need bulbs, windows a bit sticky. Ventilation in bathroom not good. Timber on top deck old as and some nails popped up. Gates at side difficult to close. Beds comfortable. Ensuite shower screen not working and the door didn’t close at all. Couldn’t get tv or music to work at all.

The location of the property is very good but if I am talking about other stuff like barbecue is very dirty and there were no fans in other rooms except one room . Only living room one aircon is working but the room aircon is not working so I spent so much for two days atleast we al slept in so much heat and sweat whole nights. Rest property is al good.
