About this property
Downtown Private Home With Backyard
2 bedroom, 1 bath, 700 sq ft (65 sq meters).
Front bedroom has a Single over Queen bunk bed and a small walk-in closet.
Back bedroom has a Queen bunk bed with a Single pull-out trundle (so 2 physical beds). Room is tight with Single trundle pulled out.
A total of 4 beds (2 Queens and 2 Singles).
Living Room has a small flat screen TV.
There is wireless internet access and Sports/Movies cable TV.
The private backyard is large enough for outdoor dining. Depending on the time of year, you can help yourself to fresh oranges or loquots, from our fruit trees.
Our home is a short 3 block walk to downtown Mountain View's Castro St with hundreds of restaurants of every nationality. We're also a short walk to the Steven's Creek Trail, as well as CalTrain (a Baby Bullet train stop to San Francisco and San Jose) and Light Rail. Close to highways CA85, US-101, CA237 and I-280 (although you can't see or hear any of them). Close to Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Facebook, Apple, and many other high-tech companies. Less than 6 miles to Stanford University and Stanford Hospital and less than 2 miles to El Camino Hospital.
Although close to so many things, this home is still on a very quite residential street. We know because we live right next door to this listing. If you're doing anything that may create excessive noise or any problems for the neighbors, then we're confident this is not the listing for you. Thanks for understanding.
If you have any issues with check-in and check-out times or any special requests for your arrival, please just let us know. Some friends from the East Coast cannot start a day without Dunkin' Donuts coffee. Not just any coffee, it has to be their brand. Caf or Decaf? Soy milk or Half-n-half? If you have a request, just let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
We look forward to hearing from you, and we hope you'll decide right now to at least reach out to us with an inquiry.
With the summer demand in downtown Mountain View, we usually rent this home to one Guest for the full 3 months of Jun/Jul/Aug. So PLEASE do not make a reservation request for that period for any shorter than 2 months. You can feel free to send us an inquiry and we can update you, but PLEASE do not send an actual reservation.

About the host
Hosted by Anne and Mike

Anne and Mike have been a couple since meeting at the University of Michigan in 1986. We love to travel and have lived in France, Japan, and China. We also had the pleasure of taking 18 months to travel the world in 1998 and 1999, visiting 15+ countries on a very low budget. We settled in beautiful Mountain View, CA in 2000 and have two active boys.
We have rented people's places on some of our world travels and our goal is always to leave the house just as we found it.
