Beautifully appointed and with unobstructed, panoramic ocean views, Sea Star #2 is an ideal place to stay with friends and family in Manzanita! Sandy beach and ocean surf are steps across the road out front and the main street of the village with its restaurants and shops is only three blocks away, giving your guests lots of things to do right out the front door. Huge vaulted ceilings in the great room look out to the sea, from Tillamook Head to gorgeous Neahkahnie Mountain. A wood-burning stove and lots of comfy furniture plus a stereo and a large flat-screen TV grace the second-floor living room; the dining room has the same ocean views and connection to the outdoor deck with a barbecue and dining furniture. There’s a fully equipped kitchen for easy meal prep. The bedroom on this level has a queen bed and an outdoor balcony. Downstairs are two more bedrooms with full beds; one opens to a patio through sliding doors. If you plan to travel with a large group, the home next door, Sea Star #1 can also be rented and access doors on the second floor open for a double great room—perfect for a family reunion. Either way, you’ll love the stellar views and easy access to all Manzanita has to offer!

Great location in downtown Manzanita with commanding views of the ocean from nearly every room.

A terrific place to stay for your family. The house is laid out very well for our family of four. The house was very clean and the check-in process was seamless. Comfortable and clean 90s era decor with updated appliances.and kitchen. Will definitely stay here again!

Perfect location and comfortable home.

We couldn't have asked for better access to both the beach and the town. The fireplace was awesome for our rainy visit, the kitchen was well-stocked and the living area was especially comfortable.

Wonderful stay

Being steps to the beach and having fabulous views of the coast was wonderful! The weather was dynamic and a delight to watch from the comfortable living room. The staff was wonderful to work with too. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was the smell of the wood burning stove from prior use. Otherwise it was a total delight & I loved the easy walk to stores, coffee and spa!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Wonderful beach getaway

This location could not be any closer to the beach, the house is spacious and clean. There are plenty of amenities included that make the stay very comfortable. They have beach chairs and plenty of other fun beach items. I would recommend this location to anyone and will certainly be looking to rent it in the future. Also Manzanita is an amazing town, highly recommend Mighty Thai.

Amazing views, cozy home

This was a cozy home in an excellent location - blocks from the main street with coffee and restaurants, and nearly beach front (simply walked across the street to the ocean). Big windows across the front of the house gave gorgeous views, even during a storm. The wood burning fire place kept it cozy and relaxing. Highly recommended!

Ideal getaway in Manzanita

The house exceeded our expectations. From previous reviews we expected odors, but there were none. Everything about the house was perfect for an enjoyable winter stay. FYI, the address is listed as Manzanita, and our GPS took us to 386 Ocean Ave a couple blocks up the hill. If you used the listing for Neahknie, GPS took us to the correct listing.

Pure bliss

This property is outstanding the ability to relax and stare out at the ocean from the comfort of the living room, or the balconies or the bed makes it a must stay rental! Beds were outstanding and comfortable, kitchen was well stocked and beautifully remodeled. The only complaint on a hot summer day the upstairs of the home does get very hot. Second time here will continue to return God willing thank you Meredith lodging!

Oceanfront duplex

Location and views excellent. Place was relatively clean except for some mold around shower and tub. Kitchen modern and fairly well equipped. Furniture was shabby and ill suited. Could use an upgrade. This place would be so much better with different furnishings. Manzanita was quaint. Many businesses were closed during our stay (Sun-Tues) Beach at low tide was perfect for long beach walks.

A disappointment

The ocean view was the best part of this place but it couldn’t make up for the dirty carpet and dilapidated furniture. A broken loveseat, broken vacuum, moldy shower, and mildew smelling ground floor. This place needs an overhaul and was absolutely not worth what we paid. We won’t be back.

Excellent ocean views from deck, dining room, living room, and upper bedroom! Wonderful location - path to beach across the street and 2 blocks from main street with shops, coffee, and restaurants.Nicely updated kitchen and well-stocked with utensils, dishes, etc. (Could use some more silverware for a large group.) Use of garage was really nice! Sheltered entry with a bench made taking off sandy/wet items easy. Loved that 2 bedrooms had private patio/deck!Bathrooms were small and could’ve use an update but totally satisfactory.This unit and the neighboring one could be rented together (adjoining door in kitchen)! Great spot for 2 families!Will definitely book again!

Amazing lovely beach view from every window! Plenty of room. Great shades on every window and door, they work well and you can still see the sun setting. Large kitchen. Comfortable beds. Path to beach makes a 2 minute walk from your front door. We will stay again! Thanks

This property is all about the location. It's right on the water with beautiful views and accessibility to downtown Manzanita. The interior of the property was a bit dated and could use better maintenance. The carpets and towels were damp and the bathrooms were so dated that basics like shower doors were not always functional. The kitchen was relatively new and practical. With just a bit of updating and maintenance, this property would be a 10/10.

Beautiful view!

This was a perfect location for our family. Plenty of room for us to spread out and relax when we weren’t out enjoying the area. The weather was chilly when we were in town. This would be perfect in warm weather so close to the beach. It’s a pet friendly home and could smell pet urine on carpets in the bedrooms with sliding glass doors. Heat in entryway and two bedrooms didn’t work. Tires are flat on bike, bike pump would be nice. There is bike rental in town also. Exhaust fan in lower level bath has a problem, loud and banging such that we couldn’t talk over it so we couldn’t use it. These things did not detract from our stay however thought owners might want to know.
