Beautiful Hampton Bays House

Warm and welcoming home with all the amenities that you would want and need and more! Pool is amazing, location amazing, size of house amazing, owners amazing, a lot of little extra amenities like pool toys, bikes, kayaks, endless supply of towels... great for our large family weekend away.

Our stay here was simply incredible! The house was beautifully decorated with comfy rooms, and the pool was a hit for the family! The host was super friendly and quick to help with any questions. Larry is awesome! The welcome packet is very detailed. We checked out all the recommended beach and food places. The house is pretty with great view. The pool and the jacuzzi are the great hits of the trip. Highly recommended.

The house is as advertised BUT it needs TLC. Pool area is one big mess of furniture, not properly organized. There's even dining room chairs around the pool. The house had good space and was certainly adequate for the weekend BUT - there was a musty odor on the main level.

So sorry to hear you did not like the furniture set up at the pool. This is in distinct contrast to the extremely complimentary reviews we have received for 5 years. Lounges are in excellent condition and we purchased brand new comfortable lounge covers literally a few weeks before your stay. There are many umbrellas and we provide a large selection of high quality pool floats. Regarding your reference to dining chairs at the pool , those are wicker outdoor chairs in excellent condition. We purposely provide these more upright chairs understanding that some of the older guests have difficulty arising from the low position of the lounge chairs. They are representative of our insight as to the needs of guests of all ages. We have never had any comment related to a musty smell and will continue to provide extremely thorough cleaning between rentals. I hope the wedding was wonderful for your family. For any potential renter concerned about this review , please note the aberration of this review compared to all the other reviews. You are welcome to contact us via the app and we would be happy to connect you with other renters from this summer who could not stop raving about the property and the pool including one renter who has returned 3 times with a large family.

Truly Amazing Home in South Hampton

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful home in South Hampton, and it was truly one of the best experiences we've ever had. The owner was extremely nice and informative, making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The house itself was gorgeous, situated on a canal and stocked with kayaks, paddle boards, and life jackets, which provided endless fun. The huge yard was a fantastic space where my brothers and sons could play all day, and the large, stunning pool with plenty of floats kept us thoroughly entertained. We never wanted to leave the house! The BBQ setup was great, and the house was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The location in South Hampton was absolutely perfect, making our trip even more enjoyable. We couldn't have asked for a better trip. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

This is a wonderful house! right on the water with a big back yard (we were here in April so we didn't get to use the pool, but that looks great too). The house is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated - the owners have excellent taste. Everything was perfectly in order when we arrived and the hosts were incredibly gracious throughout - making sure we had everything we needed, from paper towels to restaurant recommendations to suggestions for activities with our two year old son. The house is on a quiet street with beach access very nearby. There is a swingset and jungle gym in the yard which our two year old son appreciated a lot. It's a five minute drive into Southampton and ten minutes to the nearest King Kullen for groceries so it was all just incredibly easy. I couldn't recommend this house of these hosts more highly.

Our family of 5 had a great stay. Larry’s house is large, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and well equpped for any activity. The pool was warm and inviting, and it was really nice to kayak on the inlet. Larry was an incredibly responsive and helpful host. Would definitely recommend this house for a great, relaxing stay!

Near perfect 80th celebration

Larry’s home was fabulous. Between the pool, playground area, jacuzzi and canal; everyone was able to enjoy in their own style at their own pace. The house itself was very comfortable and spacious. Everything we needed and wanted was provided. We brought some Items that weren’t even touched. Larry was a gracious host providing pre-checkin info and local spots of interest after we settled in. After a long time apart due to the pandemic, this was the perfect spot for our family reunion.

Wonderful vacation!

My family and I had a wonderful vacation at this property. The house has so much to offer: a pool, playground, water activities and crabbing at the dock was a huge hit for all the kids. We never had to leave the home to entertain the family!! The inside of the house was clean and BIG! The kitchen was open concept and allowed my family to cook and all be together. I also truly appreciated the contact I had with Larry, the owner. He was available by text or phone if ever needed. We couldn’t find the life jackets, so I messaged him and he got back immediately. He was very warm, friendly and excited to share all the house and town had to offer. I highly recommend booking this house!

Great place!

The trip was overall great. The house is beautiful, it basically has everything you will need, it was very clean. We ran into a small issue with the sink and they sent over a handyman within a few hours to resolve the issue. The owners were especially accommodating and so easy to work with. I would definitely come back over the summer to enjoy the house and the backyard. It was a great stay!

Fabulous house for large group or family; very practical and stylish

We had a fantastic stay at Larry's house. The photos really do not do this place justice -- it is bigger than portrayed, has such a great and functional layout, is very well styled, and has great views and access to the water. This house has everything you need for a weekend or month-long stay. We were here during winter so couldn't take advantage of the pool, hot tub or lovely lawn, but enjoyed all the other facilities all the same. Larry was also very communicative leading up to and during our stay. We will definitely be saving this property for future getaways, and recommend it for anyone looking for a house in the area!

Fabulous Family Weekend

Our family stayed at Larry’s house for the NYE weekend and had a fabulous time. The house is perfect and met all our expectations.. and more!! It is spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated... not to mention extremely clean. The house has spectacular views... the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful... and we even had a family of swans come visit us! Larry was quick to respond to my questions.. and was super easy to deal with! I would definitely recommend staying at Larry’s home and hope to visit again when we can truly enjoy all the summer amenities of this gorgeous house!!

Wonderful Family Getaway

Our family enjoyed a wonderful 2 weeks at this Southampton home. We loved the pool and all the fun pool toys and the easy access to the water, where we went paddle boarding and kayaking. Larry, the homeowner, was very responsive and helpful. He ensured that we had an amazing 2 weeks.

After 20 years talking about a waterfront home, we finally found the time, money, and purchased our dream second home. We have completely updated and professionally decorated it to feel comfortable but elegant, nautical, ready to entertain, and ready to relax. There is nothing in this house that isn't as clean, elegant, or as cared for as our main home. We are two professionals working in Nassau county and have 2 teen children. We are available to renters any time for problems and have a responsible local property manager who has been familiar with the home for 20 years as he helped the previous owner. We have been on the other side of renting many times and can assure you, we will handle anything that comes up to give you the most enjoyable experience as possible. When we walk into this house, we feel like all the usual daily stresses go away. we hope you will feel the same.

Why they chose this property

1. Location : just 2.5 miles from Southampton Town and 3 miles from Hampton Bays. This is true waterfront with dock access and heated pool with views to die for, and it is a convenient location to get to from the NYC and Nassau County. When the famous two lane highway becomes one, an the traffic begins, you have already turned off the road and are 1.7 miles from the house !
2. We just re-decorated the entire interior professionally and installed a new deck to make this home stunning. This house feels luxurious, clean, pristine, but comfortable.
