The main beach is a short stroll along a wide track and features a tidal lagoon perfect for children, as well as excellent opportunities for surfing, snorkelling, and fishing.

The nearest town, Wooli, is just 10 kms away with a range of amenities, and the location is conveniently one hour and 15 minutes north of Coffs Harbour and just under two hours south of Ballina.
