Located in Coburn, this holiday home is in a rural area and on the waterfront. Pisano Winery and Seven Mountains Wine Cellars are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Poe Valley State Park and Poe Paddy State Park. Travelling with kids? Consider Creekside Rock and Gems and Bellefonte Historical Railroad Society. Kayaking and water tubing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and hunting nearby.
Since I got there fairly late due to fishing, Craig left lights and heat on so felt very welcome. Great fire pit on the patio with lots of firewood for chilly evenings.
My gf and I had a wonderful stay here. Craig is a friendly, helpful, and accommodating host. The home is beautiful and in a terrific location. I can’t wait to come back.
Coburn on the Creek was perfect. The house is supplied with everything you need for a stay, the kitchen worked well as we stayed in for most meals. We took dogs and there is a mud room/enclosed back porch which worked out perfectly to clean paws and feed the dogs (and also hang your waders up to dry). the house is spacious and there is a covered front porch with the stairs gated off which we loved! There is a beautiful trail along the creek with a sitting area. The area is private and the owner is right across the little street. It's a beautiful old farm house with updates to make it very comfortable. We fished close by and hiked Poe Valley State Park. We'll be back for sure!
Great location for fishing, or if you love the outdoors. Swimming, kayaking, tubing, fishing, and even cave tours all close by. Grocery market within 10 minutes if you need to pick something up. House was better than expected, clean, had everything we needed to cook our meals and ‘live’ for the week. Great fishing out front, easy access to the creek.
Great place to get away from the graduation bustle of State College and to relax in nature.
It was perfect for our family gathering.
Hosts were great!
Nice little town with a couple of restaurants and a good grocery store 5 min away.
We rented to be close to State College for a football weekend, celebrating a birthday, and reunion of family! It was very easy to check in thanks to our host and great communication! I wish we could have taken advantage of the trails and fishing, but hopefully we will be back!
Our stay at Coburn on the Creek was perfect. The house has everything you need, comfortable seating throughout and comfortable beds, a nice patio out back with lanterns, and an expansive front lawn leading down to the creek. The mud room is a great place to land and stash shoes, etc. We were in town for a nearby wedding and found the property to be a perfect home base.
Everything was just as advertised and Craig was super nice and helpful, checking in on us to make sure we had all we needed and hooking us up with great info on close places to swim, fish, tube and play. We all had such a great time we really didn’t want to leave and are already talking about returning next year. The house was cozy and comfortable and the outside spaces available to us were great as well - at the house and by the creek. Highly recommended!!

So great to meet y’all and really glad you enjoyed your stay! Look for forward to having you again.
We had a lovely time staying at Coburn on the Creek. I wish we could have stayed longer because there were so many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Craig was a great host, very welcoming and chill. We found everything we needed stocked and ready. The outdoor spaces were marvelous! So many places to sit by the creek or back by the woods or in the garden. We would definitely stay again!

So great meeting you all and hope to see you again!
This is our second time staying at this property. The cabin is spotless, very well equipped, and so comfortable. My husband caught lots of 20 inch trout and was ecstatic. Unfortunately we had to leave early because of illness but Craig made it very easy for us. We will definitely be coming back, perhaps in the fall!
This was a beautiful property with big rows of zinnias leading to a crystal clear creek - like we’d stepped into the pages of a gardening magazine. Our teen son, normally a bass fisherman, discovered the magic of fly fishing. Our dog loved to explore the creek trail. The patio overlooking the woods was a great place to relax. The house was comfortable. The dining room table is big enough to seat a large family. The air conditioning kept the house cool. Craig, the owner, was the most responsive and helpful VRBO host we’ve come across. He answered my son’s fishing questions and had great suggestions of places to see. We will be regulars here. Thanks for a fantastic stay!
We stayed for Penn State Family weekend. We were looking for somewhere near the university that would allow us to bring our dogs. We found Craig and Marias property. It is a creekside jewel. There was plenty of room - multiple beds in each bedroom plus the common area and a patio. The house has a beautiful yard with a walking path along the creek. We were able to spend time with our son on campus a straight 30min drive away and come back and enjoy quiet nature. A visit with a built in mini-vacation. Thank you!
THIS IS OUR SECOND STAT HERE. THE WEATHER WAS IFFY. THE FISHING IS USUALLY AWSOME BUT THE HURRICANE LEFT HIGH WATERS AND THUNDERSTORMS KEPT IT HIGH. WAS STILL RELAXING AND WE GOT TO GO TO THE LARGEST FAIR IN PA. ..WE WILL BE BACK AGAIN
