Rooms with a view
This was a wonderful place to stay for our weekend in Seattle. It's a little tricky to find by car, but Charles was great at guiding us in!
The condo is beautiful and spacious, even more so than the photos show, and the view cannot be beat!! How wonderful to wake up to Seattle sunshine! And the location was so convenient to all of our activities (especially baseball). Charles was great to work with, and even mailed the pants back to one of our group members who accidentally left them behind!

Awesome condo, very clean and comfy, and extremely helpful owner. Would highly recommend!
Had a blast in our trip, largely due to the fact that we had an awesome place to spend our evenings. Look no further, this is the place to stay!

Wonderful Seattle Vacation from visitors from Hawaii
Charles – you have a beautiful condominium to stay at while vacationing in Seattle. Thank you so much for allowing us the use of your home. We viewed quite a few units on VRBO online but kept coming back to your site. We made the right decision, scoring on a gem. Very large unit by most VRBO standards, very spacious and modern kitchen with everything you need to prepare your meals. There were 5 of us, 2 seniors (myself included), our daughter, granddaughter and niece. There was so much room for all of us, well over 1,700 square feet. Very clean. Driving directions from the airport to your condo were very helpful especially since we arrived late at night. Great view of Lake Union and the GasWorks park from the living room and bedrooms. Loved the enclosed garage, just below the condo. Most other rentals – had no parking or you had to find parking in the neighborhood. We got a little of rain, sunshine, and even snow up at Stephens Pass Ski Resort; the kids got to go snowboarding – snowed the entire time we were up there. So many places to visit in Seattle; Seattle Center, Pike’s Place Market, Greenlake, upper Queen Anne, University Village, many great restaurants and some not so great, great shopping for the women. We were in Trader Joe's quite a bit to get our favorite snacks since TJ's isn't yet in Hawaii. You have to make it a point to take the ferry over to Bainbridge Island. We spent half the day touring it, shopping. Happy wife with all her shopping! One thing we would recommend to all travelers. Bring your GPS! We would definitely stay at your condo when we visit Seattle again, if available. Would definitely recommend your place to my relatives and friends. Mahalo! The Lau family

About the host
Hosted by Charles Jones
I was born in Charlotte, NC and am a southern man at heart. I grew up in the Washington, DC and have lived in Maryland, Virginia, Charlotte, Chapel Hill (Go Tarheels!), and Austin, TX. I move to Seattle for work (Amazon Web Services) 13 years ago and fell in love with the city and the view from my condo! I'm starting a business (www.blazonheaters.com) and travel a ton so I'm not in Seattle much these days. When I am I stay on my boat.
I'm looking for a few good tenants that will enjoy Seattle and take care of my place. Are you the one? :)
Why they chose this property
The location couldn't be better from my perspective. There is a walking park (Thomas C. Wales) next to the building which also provides access to Dexter. From there you can walk to Fremont in 10 minutes or hop the 62 bus that take you right downtown in 15 minutes. By car, you can hop on 99 and are 5 minutes away from Fremont and Upper Queen Ann, 10 minutes from downtown or Ballard depending on which way you go, 15 minutes from Magnolia, Capital or Beacon Hill, 20 minutes from Alki and 30 minutes from Seatac depending on traffic.
What makes this property unique
The property is gorgeous with nearly floor to ceiling window on both floors. My unit is in the middle of the building and backs to the Thomas C. Wales city park. You'll have protected views of trees, the park and Lake Union from the main and 2nd floor.
