Away from at all, the boundless moonlit sky will amaze you at night.

Savor the famous Madaket sunset from an Adirondack chair on the back deck. At night, the calming sounds of waves crashing ashore will lull you to sleep. The kitchen opens into a cozy family room with a wood-burning fireplace, perfect for those cool Nantucket nights. There’s cable TV, DVD, and a stereo system for family enjoyment. The house has 2 spacious and sunny bedrooms featuring splendid water views. Attached to each bedroom is a private bath. There is a separate guest cottage with a Queen bed and private bathroom.

Additional amenities include wireless hi-speed internet, washer, dryer, parlor games, beach chairs. The backyard is equipped with four Adirondack chairs, a picnic table, and charcoal grill: perfect to enjoy a relaxed family dinner outside. A well-behaved pet is welcome, but no smoking, please, inside the house.

It's only a three minute walk to one of Nantucket's favorite restaruants, Madaket Millie's, offering ocean-view dining and serving some of the best food on the island. The take-out window is open late for Ice-cream and dinner, with outdoor dining. Right along side is the best little general store offering supplies, ice cream, wine and beer, ice and just about anything else you need to avoid a trip to the busy town.

Stop at the grocery store when you arrive, load up, and park your car in our driveway. Chances are you won't need to get in it until you leave!

Of all the locations on island, Madaket is known to have retained the old world feel perfect for a family that wants to relax, walk and ride bicycles to the country's best beaches and to simply be together.

Don't forget to take the beach cart, loaded with your picnic supplies and a bottle of wine, to the beach at the end of the day to watch the sunset into the water each night. The sky will be ablaze. You will see that other happy families arrive to do the same.
