The master bedroom has a queen bed and is located at the top of the spiral staircase in the loft area with the en suite bathroom. The second bathroom has two twin beds in the downstairs bedroom and there is a bonus sofa sleeper in the living room. You will enjoy a full kitchen, washer/dryer, three TVs and plus complimentary wifi. You will appreciate the ease of access by way of the elevator just steps away to transport your luggage and groceries. This property boasts well manicured grounds, tropical waterfall and fountains. It has a large pool, a kids pool, two hot tubs, tennis courts, BBQs, workout room and is steps away from Kamaole III Beach. Easy walking to shopping, restaurants and the beach!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Kamaole Sands was in a great location for walking to restaurants, shopping and the beach is right across the street. The complex had a nice pool area and plenty of BBQ areas. Our unit was spacious and clean with a view of the ocean from the balcony. We would stay here again.

Disappointed in Kihei

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Kihei was a real disappointment. The condo was not very nice, no lanai, no BBQ, not too clean (torn & dirty towels. We never cooked dinner at home (which we enjoy when we rent a condo). The kitchen was not too clean. The grounds were terrible. In other words, I would never recommend the place noir return there. I must say that it was really not what we expected in Maui. But the first 5 days at Ekahi Village were terrific.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in Kamaole Sands 8-406 for a week right after Christmas. We really enjoyed our stay and the location was great. The condo is dated, but who cares? You're in Maui!!! Kamaole beach III across the street is the best! We swam with turtles right off the beach. The condo was stocked with beach towels, chairs, an umbrella, a boogie board and many other items that made our stay enjoyable. The condo is well stocked with just about anything you could need in the kitchen as well as plenty of linens. We brought binoculars and watched whales playing in the ocean from the balcony in the afternoons. I only have a couple complaints about our stay. One, the glasses and dishes in the cupboards were not clean. At all. We had to rewash everything before we ate off of it. And two, the condo is not stocked with enough cleaning supplies. For a family of four for seven days I would expect more than two dishwasher pods and a quarter roll of paper towels. I'm assuming that this is why the dishes were dirty, the tenants before us likely ran out of dishwasher detergent and just ran it without soap. We had to make a grocery store trip to buy toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent and paper towels. Not the end of the world, but who wants to shop for toilet paper on their vacation? We left the condo much better stocked than when we arrived. Really, it would only be a few dollars worth of supplies to leave for your tenants that would greatly improve their stay (especially if you require them to wash all of their towels and dishes upon checkout.) Really, our stay was great other than that!

Staff was friendly. We arrived late about 8pm, the unit had threatening notes on a lot of things. Example if you use to many towels you will be charged extra, run the ac extra charge and so on. No soap or body wash. So if you want wash your hands after using the restroom you’re out of luck. After a very slow communication they did supply us with a small baggie of some soaps. Burned our light bulbs. Bad outlets and only one usable beach chair. Again we were a party of 6. They did have some sand toys. We made the best of it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the property was good, the location is perfect, we love the area. Kitchen and closets were well stocked with everything you could want or need. On the flip side, the Beach chairs could use replacing, the carpets could use a cleaning, the dishwasher leaked a little bit and the Lanai doors did not lock at all. The bedroom on the main floor was very hot and stuffy, the fans provided did help a lot but they were very dirty and one we wouldn't use at all. One other disappointment was that we had to be out by 3:00 which we did appreciate a later check out for sure but would have preferred a bit later because our flight didn't leave until 11:00 pm, when I inquired about it I was told that we would have to pay for a whole extra day. In the past we gladly paid 1/2 a day to stay the extra time, but I was unwilling to pay a whole days rent for a few extra hours, especially since we paid for a whole day on the day of arrival and didn't check in until around 10:30 pm. I guess I am a bit spoiled by previous rentals and would like to see more options rather than having to pay for a whole extra day. Over all I would probably rate this unit a 4/5.

This is a comfortable, spacious condo in a great location. It's an easy walk to the beach, activities, and various restaurants. The property surrounding the condo has lovely gardens, swimming pool, & other amenities. Our host left us plenty of kitchen utensils, and household supplies to get by. We would return again.

Great location

Property grounds were beautiful and location to Kam III is unbeatable. The condo itself was great and everything that we needed. It was well stocked as far as toilet paper, soap etc. less stock for cooking supplies which is understandable and we easily acquired ourselves. A/C is only in the living room but was able to keep the property cool with the use of the fans to circulate air. Thank you for the stay! We would recommend to others.

The place was in a good location but it wasn’t worth bleeding because of the fishing hook left in the dining room or getting sick from the black mold in the closet.

Nice property good location

The property was as advertised. Very nice unit well kept and great location. We stayed 30 days and the property manager gave us a free cleaning at the midpoint of our stay. The only issue is that there is only one air conditioner for the entire unit and the loft was not as cool as desired.

Property was very dirty, construction in middle of trip in the neighbours condo. Ant traps visible all over condo even on kitchen counter tops. The front desk made a delivery of clean beach towels and sun chairs for us to use as we where leaving to the beach with them they came and ask for them back.. the condo we stayed in was facing the garbage room and shoot with the heat on the island the smell was putrid so we could not have the front door or windows open day or night for ventilation mattresses topper on upstairs bed wrong size and install wrong it moved around all night made for a very uncomfortable sleep spent most nights on the also uncomfortable sofa bed . On the up side we realy like staying at Kamaole sand in Kihei as we have stayed befor just not happy with this particular condo and its location next to garbage and elevator.

The Kamaole Sands complex was very clean and quiet. The inclusion of bar-b-ques throughout the complex made evening grilling a breeze. The top floor condo with a sunset view was comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen had all needed conveniences to include a rice cooker, toaster and tea pot. The beds were very comfortable. The inclusion of beach items such as chairs, wave boards, sand toys and towels eliminated the need to rent from a local vendor or bring on the airplane. We would absolutely rent this unit again.

We love the apartment, the location, everything is great... except the beds and linens. The beds are so old, soft, sagging and dirty, we found ourselves looking forward to leaving. All 4 of us got back aches from the old worn out beds and the linens were just dirty. It's a shame because it's a quick & affordable fix, otherwise the apartment is perfect, great service from the rental agency too. Will return to this complex, but not this apartment due to the beds.
