If you love nature this home and setting will make your heart happy. The creek is perfect for relaxing by. So much character in this home. Lots of space. Unique and beautiful furniture and decor. Home has everything you could need in the kitchen to prepare your meal. We will definitely return.

This property is so special! The CD wall, records, and audio equipment were a huge treat for a bunch of musicians/djs. The property was private and quiet, fully stocked with everything we needed, and everything was communicated clearly. We absolutely loved being able to sleep outside in the screened in structure overlooking the creek and having ample space for our dogs to run around. An easy drive from Chicago we will definitely be considering this rental for future weekend getaways and highly recommend it!

This place had everything you could want for a little getaway. So much to do inside and outside. Amazing CD collection, books, games. The house itself was so uniquely laid out! The tennis court was super fun! Already planning our spring getaway here ! Next time we'll try the hotub.Thank you!

The home was unique with incredible views of a creek winding through the area behind the house, beautiful trees, and beautiful birds, including a blue heron. The home is conveniently located and has amenities that we had not experienced before in a VRBO, including a piano, pool table, and a Pickleball court.The Home could use some updating, but this was offset by the amenities and location of the home. In addition, Anne, our host, was amazingly responsive to our questions and any issues that we had. Overall, we enjoyed our stay greatly.

Short family 3 day vacation was all we could have hoped for. Very peaceful and the birds were everywhere! Two of us slept in the detached screen house cause the weather was really good and cool in the evening even tho it was hot during the day. Anne was great. I say that mostly because she went above and beyond for us after we discovered we had left some clothes in a dresser drawer and there were new guests coming that day. She retrieved the clothes for us and made arrangements for us to pick them up! You couldn't ask for more. Thanks again Anne!

Very nice place for a quick (or long) get away. Our host was very attentive and responded to our questions very quickly! Check in and out was seamless in this cozy, aesthetically pleasing home with all of the amenities you need! The live nature show in the back yard during most of the day was great too! Highly recommended!

Always a lovely stay!

We had another great time at the creek house! Even made friends with a visiting kitty! The back deck is so peaceful. Happy to have found this gem with such a good host!
