Stayed here for a very short trip for a Shriners function. I wish we actually had a little more time to enjoy this house! We would have liked to have enjoyed the porch & hot tub but we had a busy schedule. Very appreciative that it was pet friendly & even had some dog bowls waiting for our Roscoe! Amy was very easy to reach & quick to respond! The place was close a close drive to Maggie Valley shoppings/restaurants, as well as Waynesville & Lake Junaluska. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!

It was just perfect. It was quiet clean and cozy. It was just the heavenly retreat it said on listing. There is great food nearby and places to explore but it also gives a quiet isolation feeling. Perfectly balanced for a retreat. I would like to book a week every six months. I feel refreshed🩷🩹

Our place was more than a home away from home. The amenities were exceptional. Our host went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. The little touches she provides shows how much she cares about your stay. Like providing g firewood, a s’mores bar and providing the necessities you may have forgotten. This is an exceptional home to stay in and I will recommend it to all my family and friends.

The cabin is attractive and clean. Light switches and cupboards labeled in a very convenient way. I caution against being here if you have small children. Neighbors are very close, there is no real yard in which to play. To make the house child proof would be a major task as there is excessive (in our opinion) decor everywhere. The place is well thought out for visitors with many supplies provided: shampoos, conditioners, laundry soap; plenty of towels and linens and pots and pans. Two varieties of coffee were available and some assorted beverages. A nice touch was the kit to make s’mores. The hot tub was clean and private. The deck was nicely furnished but a lot of rain kept us from enjoying it much. The county road is a mountain road but luckily we didn’t have to go far up. Beware no shoulder and lots of gullies on both sides. Lister Lane itself was gravel and rutted and a slow go.

Loved our stay!

This cute house was the perfect stay for us! We spent most of our time in the Smoky Mountain National Park - about a 30 minutes drive to the South entrance. It was lovely to come back and relax in the hot tub and by the fireplace after a day of hiking.
