About this property

One-Bedroom Condo with A/C and Fantastic Ocean Views

Our Prince Kuhio 206 condominium is a charming one-bedroom unit that has been recently updated. This vacation retreat features slab granite counters, new kitchen and bath tile, new carpet, new appliances and cookware, and a generous king bed. It is close to everything and a great place to come home to after a day of sight-seeing.

Spend your mornings watching the sunrise on the ocean-view lanai. Take a stroll down the lane to the Shops at Kukuiula , or walk across the street to one of the top snorkeling beaches on Kauai. There is a popular surf-break just off the point where you can try your hand at surfing, or just watch the local talent as they ride the waves.

Enjoy relaxing by the newly renovated pool, surrounded by lush, tropical gardens and a beautiful lava rock waterfall. Have a sunset cocktail or dinner at the famed Beach House restaurant, just across the street. If you prefer to cook yourself, the kitchen is fully equipped and there is a wonderful barbeque area onsite. The Prince Kuhio even has a lovely koi pond in the gardens.

At the end of the day, climb into the comfortable king size bed outfitted with plush Tommy Bahama bedding. Doze off listening to the rustling of the palm trees and the breaking ocean waves.

I would highly recommend this place! Fantastic location, host, and very comfy bed! The unit was very clean and you can see and hear the ocean, just across the road. We didn't cook there, but the kitchen was stocked well and there is a BBQ available. The pool was nice and had areas of shade, which was appreciated. There is a great breakfast place a few minutes drive-Anuenue Cafe-amazing french toast with lemon curd! Stay here, you won't be sorry!

We had a wonderful stay! The condo was across the street from Lawai Beach and close to shops and restaurants. The unit itself was well stocked with necessities for cooking, as well as beach supplies. We would definitely stay here again!

This is an excellent property, with a cannot-be-beat location in a quiet neighborhood. It is really right across the street from some of the best snorkeling on the south side of the island, and you can enjoy a morning walk in either direction. We were very happy staying here.

We enjoyed our stay in PK206. Check-in was a breeze, it had all kitchen amenities, was close to several beaches (including the one across the street), the building has beautiful landscaping and was surprisingly quiet. I highly recommend The Beach House restaurant across the road. The atmosphere & food were amazing. We will most definitely stay here on our next visit to Kauai.

We were married at Shipwreck Beach, just a few miles down the road from the Prince Kuhio Condominums on the sunny side of Kauai. We purchased a studio condo here in 2011 and we are so happy to make this 1-bedroom available to our guests as well.

Why they chose this property

We enjoyed visiting several of the Hawaiian Islands, but Kauai quickly became our favorite. After staying at a few different hotels/condos we knew the Prince Kuhio was the right place for us. We love the quiet, laid-back feel of the complex and the stunning beauty of the grounds.

What makes this property unique

We love the monk seals that laze around the beach across the street. We often snorkel there and enjoy the multitude of fish and turtles we get to share the water with. Each evening the there is a loose knit group wandering across the street to take in the sunset at Lawai Beach - it has become a ritual of sorts, with lots of friendly folks basking in the last rays of the day.
We enjoy exploring all the different sides of the island, but it is always great to come back to Prince Kuhio - our home away from home.
