Eagles Nest Cottage- Pet Friendly with amazing views

You will not have to leave your furry friend behind because this cottage is pet friendly (25 lbs max limit). Also has a ramp for easy access and covered porches on 2 sides to enjoy the mountain air. The gas log stone fireplace makes for a romantic evening or relax on the porch taking in the fresh mountain air or in the backyard at the patio table enjoying a picnic. The cottage also has heat and air conditioning to ensure you are always comfortable. You'll find the park style charcoal grill convenient for grilling or the fire pit is the perfect place to make s'mores and enjoy the soothing sounds of the local waterfalls. Relax indoors watching the large screen smart television with cable TV. Wifi also available, a full kitchen to enjoy a home cooked meal, and a washer and dryer to offer all the amenities of home. Conveniently located to all area attractions and paved road access all the way to the front door. Within minutes of the cottage you can enjoy fishing, tubing, whitewater rafting, horseback riding and hiking. Located about 20 minutes from the Cherokee Indian Reservation and Great Smoky Mountain National Park and 25 minutes from Asheville, North Carolina. The Blue Ridge Parkway and Cataloochee Ski Area are just minutes away. So back, enjoy the view and make some memories!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was very nicely kept. Furniture was in very good condition and the kitchen had everything we needed. Has a split unit heating/cool system that worked very well...we only needed to use the one in the bedroom and the house maintain the temp very well. Wish we would have known about incline to get into the driveway and glad we brought the 4wd. Also, it would be nice to have better instructions from the mgmt company where dumpsters are located for the trash.

Eagle's Nest was so lovely. I booked a short weekend away for our family of 4 to celebrate my husband's and son's 5th birthday (and beat the heat). I messaged the Owner prior to booking to ensure it was OK to bring our dog along even though he is a bigger boy, the Owner was very prompt and polite when replying and allowed us to do so. My kids LOVED their room, it had such cute decor and bedding in it. The master was really nice decor and bedding as well. We all loved the 2 porches, we enjoyed each evening counting fireflies and the mornings were savored watching the fog roll through the mountains and trees. The cabin is well equipped with everything you would need! I was easily able to bake cupcakes with the bakeware available. There's ample space throughout that it never felt cramped anywhere. Plenty of appliances to choose from for cooking, inside and out of the cabin. We had more than enough parking for my Dodge Durango and my husband's Toyota Prius at the top of the driveway. I appreciated the wheelchair friendly ramp leading to the front door both for my rolling suitcases but also our 12.5yo dog who isn't as spry as he once was. We've already agreed to check the dates available for later this summer and fall to come back. We really loved our time in Maggie Valley and Eagle's Nest made that all possible.

Eagles Nest

The property location was 4000 ft in the mountains of Maggie Valley with amazing views and quiet and secluded which we wanted.The cabin was supplied with all the essentials we needed and WIFI too. The very narrow parking area was a bit tricky at first but doable. Overall a very nice cabin stay at Eagles Nest.

We enjoy our stay at Eagles nest number 36. Very clean, roomie, peaceful comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Sitting out on the porch and looking at that amazing view was so refreshing and peaceful to our souls. Sid, made the check in check out super easy and always communicated well with us. We enjoyed the cabin! The driveway is a bit steep. Be prepared. Fwd or or 4wd recommended even in clear weather. The drive sneaks up on you. I wish I had taken a pic to be helpful. Morning coffee on the porch was great! Close to all of Maggie Valley.
