Great condo for a family vacation!

We had a great time staying here with our daughters and our fur baby! The condo was spacious and very clean. Definitely would recommend it for a nice relaxing vacation!

This huge condo was an easy walk across the street from the ocean & made a perfect home away from home for our family vacation. Pictures accurately represented the property, parking was easy, and everything needed to enjoy the beach was provided. Also great was closeby grocery and restaurants, we can’t wait to return to NSB!

Great Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay. It was spacious and had everything we needed. Everyone was able to relax and felt safe walking around the area. Our only complaints are the freezer door (as mentioned in other reviews) and the floors could have been cleaned better after the previous occupants. Outside of those two issues, everything else was great. We would definitely return.

Lovely Comfortable Perfect

The condo was lovely and very clean and comfortable. The owners thought of everything to insure that guests have an enjoyable stay. It was perfect. New Smyrna Beach is a very nice community with wonderful restaurants. The streets and beaches were very clean, although there was still some evidence of Hurricane Irma. This was our first time, and we will definitely return to the condo and New Smyrna Beach in the future.

Disappointed in the VRBO unit

I’m going to admit that I’m pretty disappointed in this VRBO. It is an older unit that you can tell has not been updated. The appliances are all older, fridge/freezer won’t shut well, oven takes forever to heat up. In many other Vrbo’s we receive a welcome package with details, this had no explanation, just keys and car passes. I happen to find a note on the fridge about a storage outside that contained beach items, but that was a couple days in. The chairs are mostly broken and no other beach items that we’d even want to use. We had no idea how to get to the beach, no information in the email or website provided. We ended up asking someone we saw walking around. From this unit it’s about a 10 min walk to the beach. This is building 3 and the beach access is by 12/14 building, check the map. We also had some bug issues, especially waking up daily with new bites!! We reached out to management and they said they’d reach out to the exterminator, but they never showed up. I think the complex is good for families, but we would not stay at this unit again.

Oceanwalk is a lovely community with great amenities. It is a very easy walk to the beach and convenient drive to restaurants and shopping. My friends and I enjoyed tennis, pool and yoga. We would stay here again.

I love the location. Views are outstanding. However, the condo needs some upgrades: refrigerator is in poor condition (doors do not close probably), there were no instructions regarding the TV and we had difficulty getting on cable, the condo was not clean — bathroom rugs so filthy I washed them myself, the kitchen didn’t have a can opener, and the foam pad on the master bed is a mess. We reported an invasion of ants and got no response so bought ant killer myself and used it. On the whole, I love Oceanwalk, and have stayed there before, but this condo was disappointing, especially for the price! Charge for parking? Really? That’s gouging!
