About this property

Well Appointed Lake Front Ranch that Sleeps 10

Bring the extended family to stay at our sprawling 4 bedroom, 3 bath lakefront home. The home has a covered patio and oversized deck with sweeping views of Lake Palestine, seating for 12, and a a grill. Walk a few steps down the flagstone path to the built in fire pit for night time s'mores. Keep going to the boathouse, complete with a slip and lift for you boat, a sunning/swimming platform, and a fish cleaning station. It's a perfect spot for enjoying a sunny day or getting in some night fishing.

The inside of the house is just as inviting as the outside. There are four bedrooms, each with a king size bed. The master is at the back of the house to maximize the view of the lake. It has its own TV and attached bath with an oversized soaking tub and separate shower. Off the master is a sitting room with a queen size pull-out. There is a second master at the front of the house also with its own TV and an attached bath with a shower tub combo. There are two more good size bedrooms that share a full bathroom with a tub shower combo.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances, a coffee station, a full complement of cooking implements, and a wide selection of spices. It opens to a dining room
with seating for 12. On one side of the dining room is a comfortable living room with a 60 inch television equipped with YouTube TV. On the other side is a small den with another TV and door that takes you out to the back yard and to the master.

The house is in a quiet neighborhood on Lake Palestine with easy access to south Tyler restaurants, shopping, and attractions.

Great place for a family getaway

July 4th/Anniversary Weekend

Amazing house in an amazing neighborhood with friendly neighbors. It was spacious & well worth the cost. We had a relaxing, fun weekend & the host was very attentive to our needs, very friendly & quick to respond. We would definitely book this house again.

We enjoyed our stay at this lake house. We were a family of 7 and were very comfortable. The house was clean, the amenities were nice. We swam and fished off the dock and used the provided kayaks. Communication with management was excellent.

Weekend at the lake

We had a great time with family fishing, kayaking and just spending time together. The house was roomy, the deck was great and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. It was nice to have 3 full baths.

Anniversary getaway

We have stayed here before 3 years ago. It was nice to come back to a familiar area! We love morning coffee on the back porch and watching sunset sky in the evening. This time we went into Jacksonville and had fun exploring. One evening we drove to Palestine for a great dinner at Queen Street Grille in the historic Redlands Hotel.

It was a beautiful home with all the amenities you could want. The boat dock with a lift was great to get out on the water quickly. Plenty of space for the 8 of us to feel like we had our own space. Can’t wait to go back.

Yearly outing with friends and family

We try and find a place each year that has 4 or 5 bedrooms that will sleep 5. This was the perfect place. We needed 3 bathrooms which this house also could accommodate. Back porch looked over the Lake which provided for relaxing evenings. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for our meals. Would definitely consider going back.

Christmas Family Reunion

Great location and home to bring our family together to celebrate Christmas. We came from 4 different states with some coming as far as Arizona, Nevada and South Carolina. The host even decorated the home for Christmas which was a really nice touch! We had a great week!

Fishing Trip 2025

This is a wonderful house that exceeded our expectations! We had a reunion of sorts, it was a fishing trip for old college buddies, some that haven't seen each other in about 20 years! Sat on the dock, having a drink, fishing, and reminiscing!! We will definitely plan a return trip, as the property provided plenty of space and all varieties of entertainment. Thanks for letting us visit.

We had so much fun with our friends this weekend. This house didn’t have a pool but our friends had rented the house next door that had the pool! This house is very spacious and a great little get away. We also loved the smaller space off of the house, like a man cave!! Our secret hideaway!!

Thanksgiving weekend

The house was very comfortable for our group and we enjoyed our stay. The pictures on Vrbo must have been taken a while ago though because they do not accurately show the condition of the house and property. There were quite a few items outside that our toddlers and dogs could get into that were not safe. Broken grill, umbrella and a lot of things in the shed that was not locked.

Wonderful property

This property was perfect for our three couples, nothing is overlooked here, they have thought of everything that you might want or need during your stay. Johanna, her sons and Mary were extremely responsive and helpful. We had a problem with the coffee pot, they immediately replaced it with a brand new one. We spent lots of time on the covered patio, played games in the game room, the Wi-Fi was great, TV in almost every room, even a USB port for chargers. The kitchen was well appointed, everything was neat and clean, even the outside grill was clean! The view of the water is so peaceful, many birds and squirrels to watch. Overall a lovely property, we can't wait to return!
