The house (90 sqm living space) was completely renovated in 2012 and technically updated - taking care to bring out the beautiful old details like old beams and the beautiful stone walls. It offers space for up to 6 people.
The house is well equipped with 2 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, the cosy living room (here still two sofas that can be converted into a bed) on the ground floor with wood stove. On this floor in a separate room a washing machine.
The large eat-in kitchen, fully equipped with an electric cooker, dishwasher etc. on the first floor has an exit to the terrace.
The house was completely renovated at great expense and brought up to the latest technical standards - with completely new electrics and sanitary technology, new (wooden) windows and shutters.
We have also attached great importance to a certain comfort and standard in the furnishings. That is why we have now also received a 3 *** classification.

In the kitchen, the dishwasher is a matter of course - after all, nobody wants to do more work on holiday than at home!
You will also find a modern TV in the living area - with the digital satellite system you receive GERMAN channels, with the TV box via the internet FRENCH channels.

The beds are equipped with comfortable cold foam mattresses plus slatted frames to ensure 'back-friendly' sleeping comfort.

In the bathrooms, we also attached importance to a certain standard - these are modernly equipped with a washstand, wall-hung WC and a spacious shower.

At the same time, we wanted to preserve the charm of the more than 200-year-old house - not 'break it'. That's why we kept the old details in their original form, refreshed of course: The old stone walls in the kitchen-living room were carved out and plastered in the typical Languedoc way, so that the stones remained visible.
The same goes for the old wooden beams: previously hidden under plaster ceilings, they are now suitably finished and give the bedrooms a special charm.
The floors were renewed where the old tiles could no longer be used, but in the bedrooms you will still find the old terracotta tiles, as well as in the staircase, which was also very well preserved and only embellished with some details.
So enjoy the charm of the old combined with modern comfort!

Garden: You are welcome to use our private garden, which is a 2-minute walk from the house, where you will find seating and a barbecue. Since it cannot be constantly used, it is not officially rented out, so you may have to clean the chairs yourself... On the other hand, you will benefit from an absolutely peaceful location in the middle of nature.
