Absolutely stellar! 10/10 We got married at the Masonic Temple the weekend of our stay so this was a perfect location. Mike is an attentive and responsive host. Everything in the apartment worked great! The apartment itself was beautiful and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Extra points for how quiet it was. Only notes : - If you use a Dyson hairdryer daily, the provided hairdryer may take some getting used to. - Parking spots are tight so make sure your passenger exits prior to parking.
The apartment was well furnished, great location, very comfortable. It was nice to have covered parking. Host was very responsive and provided excellent information.
This was our second time staying at the Sinclair. The condo is beautifully appointed and the location is perfect. We really enjoy being in walking distance to so many restaurants and shops. When we don’t feel like driving, it is a very inexpensive Lyft ride to the arts district. The host was very responsive and provided excellent communication in advance of our arrival.
Loved our stay in this apartment. Nice and bright, clean, and all the amenities you could need. The surround sound, dimmers on all the lights, Nespresso machine, very comfy bed... made our stay even better. Location was perfect..Our car was too large, so parked in the lot across the street, but was a very short walk to apartment.
This was our fifth summer staying at the Sinclair. We just love the beauty of the apartment and layout. We love the location. Plan to stay here next year.
Absolutely great place to stay. Extremely clean and a great location to everything in downtown Asheville. Next time we are in the area we are definitely looking at the availability of this location first.

This was our second time in the building. Location convenient to everything Asheville has to offer, secure off-street parking, and the unit is nicely furnished and comfortable.

Thanks for mentioning our private garage parking in The Sinclair building is available for small cars only. The nearest public parking garage is two blocks away for $12/day on the Rankin Avenue.

I grew up all over NC, and currently live in Charlotte, but spent a lot of time in Asheville growing up. I have always loved the how vibrant and unique the city is and was thrilled to have an opportunity to be part of the culture. I spend most of my time being a dad and husband but when I find free time love to duff it around on the golf course, or try to create something new with my hands.
Why they chose this property
Built in 1924, 59 Broadway came on the market in 2013 and was unusual in that it had only served as warehouse space with consequently very little infrastructure, thus providing a clean canvas for my modernist vision. Having sat empty for a decade, it was in remarkably great shape. But most importantly, it had SOUL.
After a year of planning, a project incorporating the interplay of natural, urban, and personal environments with attention to space, lighting, quality, and simplicity was begun. Twelve-foot ceilings, original hardwood flooring, simple layout, and uncluttered space help imbue the feeling of warmth and calm that initially drew me in. Unlike any other historic building downtown, it’s newly engineered windows all along the northern wall provide an abundance of natural light further enhancing the unique ambiance.
What makes this property unique
I am lucky enough to continue offering this property that my father, and his wife Constance, along with the seasoned guidance of an interior designer designed and brought to life. Furnishings were hand picked and chosen to make each unit feel like a home, including art and ceramics made by local artists who are also friends. I have always loved the bird’s eye view of the city’s comings and goings while perched on the full length window seats. Mesmerizing.
I hope you agree that the integrated sound system rocks and that the splurge mattresses feel heavenly after a day of exploring all that this vibrant city and surroundings has to offer.
