Place was very clean and spotless. This is a small place and ideally suited for 2 people to spend time together. We were presented with Wine at the start from the host and that was a nice touch, the bed was really comfortable, and the view was fantastic. Take care travelling up the range, the road is a bit tricky but you get used to it.

We stayed for two nights and the whole experience was amazing. From the very start, the check‑in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Walking into the cabin and seeing the stunning views across the valley instantly set the tone for our stay. The cabin was so thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, making it feel comfortable and effortless. Mornings spent on the deck were a highlight, enjoying the fresh ground coffee provided while taking in the peaceful surroundings. Having the BBQ and the fireplace really added to the experience. We would happily return to Willow Cabin again.

About the host

Hosted by JOOLIE GREEN

Host profile image
I am a visual artist - inspired by the beautiful Scenic Rim in Queensland. I have lived and exhibited in many countries but have recently returned to this captivating mountain region for the heavenly views, the climate and wildlife.

Previously, I had been a successful host in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, meeting many international guests in my apartment, which I totally enjoyed.

Now, together with my CO-HOST, we are creating a romantic get-away cabin at the rear of our property surrounded by trees opening on to glorious mountain views. We have enjoyed creating a living space that is serene, peaceful and luxuriously comfortable. Aspiring to be as sustainable as possible, we have installed solar roof panels and an EVBox charging station for EV owning guests.

We hope our guests become acquainted with our beautiful Beechmont in the Scenic Rim.

My life motto is 'each day is a precious gift'

Why they chose this property

Beechmont, located in the heart of South East Queensland, boasts a rich history as former dairy country renowned for its unparalleled vistas and fertile soil. Here, the land thrives, offering endless possibilities for cultivation, with a diverse array of wildlife adding to the area's charm. Close proximity to Lamington National Park ensures easy access to cascading waterfalls and winding nature trails, where the wonders of nature never cease to captivate. Our experience of living amidst the splendor of Beechmont has been truly rewarding, and we take great joy in extending that same pleasure to our guests at Willow Cabin.

What makes this property unique

Ideal for couples seeking a romantic getaway, or for the solo traveller, our retreat offers a warm welcome with wine, chocolates, a fruit bowl, and fresh herbs and flowers upon arrival.

Explore the enchanting Lamington National Park, where walks and waterfalls await, or simply relax on the deck and enjoy sightings of wallabies and native birds.

Stay connected with complimentary Starlink internet access and unwind with entertainment options including Netflix on the Smart TV and music streaming through the Megaboom sound system.

Designed for ultimate privacy, our cabin features a luxurious queen-size bed with 100% cotton bed linen and a cozy doona. Relax and indulge in stargazing from bed, accompanied by soothing music or the sounds of the night.

The spacious bathroom offers comfort and warmth with heating and a deep bath, surrounded by garden views through large windows. Wake up to bird calls and morning sunrise.

Indulge your taste buds with nearby dining options such as The Paddock Restaurant, Binna Burra Tea House, and Flying Bean Cafe at Rosins Lookout, all within easy reach. Treat yourselves to an unforgettable escape in our secluded haven.
