Morning light filters through tall pines as quiet settles over the neighborhood, and by evening the glow of a gas fireplace becomes the natural gathering point after a day in the mountains. Winter in Sunnyside-Tahoe City brings a slower pace - crisp air, snow-dusted surroundings, and cozy moments indoors where the forest feels close and calming.
This entire home is set in a peaceful, level neighborhood that makes getting around easy year-round. You are close to Tahoe’s west shore character while enjoying access to the Tahoe Park HOA Beach, which is open seasonally. The setting feels tucked away and residential, offering a relaxed base for mountain days and quiet nights.
Living spaces
The main living area is warm and inviting, centered around an indoor gas fireplace and a TV with standard cable. It’s a comfortable place to unwind, watch a movie, or settle in with a book while snow falls outside. Heating keeps the home comfortable during colder months, making winter stays especially appealing.
Sleeping arrangements
The home sleeps up to eight guests across four bedrooms, thoughtfully spread over two levels. Upstairs, two bedrooms each feature a queen bed and share a 3-4 bath. On the entry level, there are two additional bedrooms - one with two twin beds, and another with a twin bunk bed and a twin trundle. A full bathroom is located just off the downstairs bedrooms and living area. Bed linens and bathroom essentials are provided.
Kitchen and dining
The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals at home, with a dining table nearby for shared breakfasts or relaxed dinners. Whether you’re warming up after time outdoors or keeping things simple during a quiet winter evening, the space supports easy, everyday cooking.
Parking, garage, and laundry
A detached one-car garage offers storage space for bikes and gear and includes EV charger access. There are two driveway parking spaces available, and street parking is not permitted. Please note that the apartment above the garage is occupied by a long-term tenant who uses the right side of the garage and shares the laundry facilities. Guests should keep the right side of the garage and driveway access clear at all times.
Outdoor and seasonal features
Lake access is available via Tahoe Park HOA Beach during the open season, where amenities such as picnic areas and piers are offered when conditions allow. Outdoor features and BBQ availability are seasonal and may not be accessible during winter months.
