Great stay for our large group (7 adults and one toddler). The place was large, clean, convenient, and peaceful. We would stay there again with enthusiasm.

Comfortable and good location
We had a great time. The cabin was clean, charming and comfortable. It was only 15 minutes to Swquall Valley and very close to restaurants and stores. It was nice to have the jacuzzi and the back view was nice.

Thank you for your gracious comments and hope you stay in our home again sometime.
Great cabin! We were seven people and we had plenty of space. The hot tub was a nice place for relaxation. Just what we all needed. Also, a nice walking distance to shops and the beach.

The Perfect Place
With Plenty of room and plenty of beds, this West coast family met our East coast family for a combined vacation. Everyone had fun in a homey atmosphere with all the creature comforts and a few extra.

Hi Kelli, thanks for your review. So glad that your families were able to connect and have a great time.
Overall we had an enjoyable family getaway at this property, in a quiet neighborhood that is nice and close to the main part of Tahoe City. Basic amenities, very close to multiple neighbors, sharing a driveway with a neighbor with young kids. If you want to cook, make sure to bring better pans, the ones here were not great to cook with on an induction stove. Make sure to bring a fan if visiting in summer as there is no AC.
We had a great time at the cabin! The living space is cozy while still being ample for a large group, and we found the beds/baths nicer than the photos indicate. The kitchen was well-stocked for group dinners and we loved the gas fireplace and puzzles/board games. We had no trouble parking a 4wd car and a 2wd sedan on the driveway--the steep part of the drive was entirely plowed, but I agree that in worse weather conditions 2wd would be dicey. Downtown and the lake were both an easy walk away. Would definitely recommend.
9 of us (all adults) stayed at this property for an annual skip. The location was great with quick access to highway 28 and 89. More than enough room for all of us, our luggage, skis, and gear. The fireplace warms up the whole house real quick. Given is was the winter, and Tahoe is in the mountains the descending driveway and deck were a little sketchy with packed snow and ice so be careful. Overall, top tier place that was a top tier value
It was perfect for our family. Everyone had a place to sleep. Nice size house that could accommodate our large group. It could use a little updating. Check out is a little early. But overall it was a great time.
We had a wonderful time with our group friends at this cabin! The cabin is spacious yet very cozy and has everything you need (and is close to the lake and an adorable downtown!). We loved how the hosts had bedrooms with plenty of beds to accommodate a bigger group. We enjoyed cooking dinner in the kitchen, playing card games in the living room, and then going for a soak in the hot tub after a great day of spring skiing. Jim was very helpful and responded to a couple questions we had right away. Overall a wonderful stay and we hope to come back!
We completely enjoyed this charming home! From relaxing in the hot tub after a day of skiing, to board games and family dinners together. Everyone felt at home and relaxed and we had tons of snow for the kids to play in!
After 35 years having a yearly college reunion in South Lake Tahoe, we decided to change it up. The house was in great shape, hot tub was nice, and it was an easy walk into town. Would definitely stay here again.
We had a great stay at this cabin! The host communicated well. We loved the hot tub on the deck for night time, it was perfect. The bedrooms and living space were a perfect size. The location was great and only a short walk down to the beach and town. We would definitely stay here again!
This cabin is nestled in a great area. We walked to the beach, to downtown restaurants, and to hiking trails. Everything inside the cabin was great. Plenty of beds, towels, and accommodations to make for a great stay. I would absolutely come back.
I wonder if this review will be time capsule in history. Picture of 2020 shelter in place for 7+ months due to pandemic. Scratching at the walls desperate to get out we seek refuge in great Lake Tahoe. All of California is on fire The respite of fresh air is badly needed. Wonderful little cabin in the woods was exactly what the doctor ordered. A lot of hiking trails around the cabin. amenities were wonderful. the hot tub and grill were are used almost every night. We were just a short drive away from the beautiful lake. We must note that not one time did we turn on the TV. Internet could have been a touch better as there were seven of us trying to connect but not a deal breaker. Would absolutely come back again.
The process was easy. The cabin is very charming and spacious, it looks small from the outside, but is not. We all enjoyed the hot tub it was the best part. The place is just beautiful. The only thing was that the refrigerator was not cooling fast enough, but the kitchen is fully equipped and there is a grill outside as well. I would definitely book again.
Excellent for our group of 3 families. Great location. Everything was convenient and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked and fireplace was wonderful. The only thing that bothered us a bit was dog hair from couch pillows and carpet got on our clothes and socks.
The property is conveniently located in central Tahoe City. Only misses is that it is at the bottom of a road that can get icy. 4 wheel drive kept us out of trouble but my brother had difficulty in his Suburban.

Why they chose this property
Before we owned the cabin we used to stay at the property and we loved it. Through the years we built great memories and felt like it was our ‘home away from home’. When the time came that the property was changing ownership we knew we wanted to be part of it. We are now 50% owners of the cabin with my cousin and his family. Every year we put money and effort into improving the cabin so that others can enjoy it as much as we do.
The Tahoe City location is truly the best the lake has to offer in the summer and winter. It is the most charming City the lake has to offer.
What makes this property unique
The cabin is very cozy and comfortable. The way it's situated gives a very secluded and private feel. Large pine trees surround the property and provide additional privacy, and beauty. The 4 person spa on the back deck is particularly enjoyable after a great day of skiing.
