Beautiful French countryside home. Beautiful view and surroundings. Large pool and a wonderful outdoor kitchen. We use the wood burning barbecue every night. Close to the village Tourettes-Sur-Loup where you can get your fresh baked croissants every morning or eat dinner in the evening. We had a wonderful stay at Jeanna’s beautiful home. The guardian Val was very welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend this property.
We had such wonderful time in Jeanna’s house as a family. The house is the definition of real luxury: tasteful & genuine with the attention to every detail, material, colour. The house is built around an incredible garden, the very large mosaic pool surrounds the mountains, with a sea view. As people who like to cook we fell in love with the large kitchen and the pool house with the integrated barbecue, and as two couples with children we appreciated the house had two equally beautiful master bedrooms / bathrooms with a lot of space for the children.
We were welcomed by the gardienne and the gardener who were extremely helpful and welcoming. Jeanna is an amazing host, also advising on things to do in this beautiful area of Provence. We will definitely come back to this beautiful house as soon as we can.

Most Memorable Time in France Ever!
Les Courmettes is wonderful. A very comfortable, quiet, beautifully designed house with the best equipped kitchen I've seen and a huge garden with a spectacular view over the olive grove down the Gorges du Loup to Cagnes sur Mer without another house in sight. Not the usual holiday rental, a lovely family home. I'd rebook this year but can't as I live in Asia & my wife has just had another baby. We and our other children loved the house and the exquisite garden, full of plants in pots, the large pool with an out-door bar area, and what has to be the best boules court in the South of France (I became a real professional!). The fabulous walled medieval village of Tourrettes sur Loup is nearby. I can't recommend this property enough ... a real must!
I traveled here with friends and 3 teenage daughters. It is more beautiful than the pictures can show. Jeanna's attention to detail is mesmerizing and it was for that reason that we chose this villa. The house has an incredibly well stocked kitchen and we cooked several nights while we were there. The outdoor kitchen is gorgeous but the heat prevented us from using it. The pool and grounds are lovely and were a welcomed retreat from the heat of the day. The town is close by and has the requisite boulangerie and small market and the larger town of Vence is not too much further. Jeanna left an incredible notebook of information...where to eat, to visit, the supermarkets, you name it. It was invaluable to our trip. I only wish other renters would do the same. I also want to send a shout out to Val and Rick, who are the caretakers of the property. They were very helpful and always there to answer questions. I do want to mention with soaring temperatures in Europe, if heat is an issue for you, this is probably not the place for you. Without air conditioner it was extremely hot. Even with fans, you had to keep the doors and windows open and none had screens so there were bugs everywhere. All in all, an amazing vacation in an exceptional home.
Amazing holidays in beautiful house and surroundings!
We (a family of four, 2 adults, 2 young children) spent three weeks at Jeanna's house in Tourettes-sur-Loup and is was simply fabulous. The house is stunning and very well laid out. It feels like a real home, rather than a soulless holiday rent, has a great garden and a large pool (where our kids spent their whole holiday) with an amazing view down to the coast. The house is very well equipped and has a great outside kitchen, lots of places to sit and lounge, books you can enjoy and the main kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm. We especially loved the garden which is very well landscaped, with mature plants, beautiful flowers and pots. Lovely Tourettes sur Loup is a 10 minute drive away and has lots of shops and restaurants, but is not completely overrun by tourists like St Paul de Vence and other villages. There are lots of trips you can do from the house (Grasse, St-Paul de Vence, Menton, Antibes etc), but on many days you won't want to leave the house at all. The only thing we regret is not to have brought along friends to share the experience - there is a separate guesthouse which we didn't use, but which would work brilliantly for another family.
We really enjoyed our time at this villa. We have rented numerous villas and holiday homes in France and other countries and this was a beautiful place. We were two families with a total of 6 kids, and they loved the garden, the pool and the outdoor kitchen. The people living on the premises were extremely helpful, very kind and knowledgeable about the surroundings, sights and beaches. The owners are solid and honest people with a genuine love for their home. Our only complaint would be a less-than-optimal cleaning of the kitchen before our arrival, but this was swiftly taken care of. Would love to go back!

We were delighted to rent to John Berg and his family, they were appreciative of the garden, pool, boule court etc.
I know my live in gardiennes gave them a lot of help with the local area, restaurants and activities, hopefully they will come back.

About the host
Hosted by Jeanna Morgan
I am a film producer, I built my house some time ago, it now has a beautiful very mature garden with an olive grove, fruit orchard, outside kitchen, barbeque large boule court, 5 different tables areas to eat, and sit, depending upon the weather and the the light. I and my family three girls 7 grandchildren all love it. it is very child friendly, the interior is contemporary shabby chic. There are lots of pool toys , a large blue shark, rubber rings etc. 2 cots, a twin bedded room, , high chair, and children toys. Two blenders, mixing baby food etc. The washing and drying machine are housed in a separate room in the courtyard my gardienne is available to help.
Why they chose this property
I loved the view in the gorge, there are no other houses in sight,, you can see straight down the gorge to the sea. It has a magical remote feeling, set in the Courmettes, I built the house on a piece of land covered with old olive trees and thyme. Despite the many years and more properties around, it still feels the same.
What makes this property unique
It is a house that allows you to do many things, swim play boule, or just sit and read. I love cooking so the kitchen both inside and out are incredibly well equipped.
We have a herb garden as well as fruit, figs, peaches, plums, cherries. all appearing at different times of the year.
