Paolo was a very welcoming host and left us some lovely snacks and drinks for our arrival.Spacious, clean and quiet property. Would stay here again if needed.
We had a really good stay. The house is extraordinary clean and tidy. The owner is very helpful and friendly, he prepared very helpful written information and when questions arise he is very happy to help you. We can absolutely recommend this place, from where you can easily and quickly reach London city centre with public transport.
We stayed here on two separate occassions during our trip to the UK. Paolo was very accomodating and easy to deal with. Communication was fantastic and unit was as described. Location wasn't an issue due to the fantastic bus system in London.
Had a couple of small issues that Paolo got fixed straight away, very happy with our selection.
This house is really a lovely place to stay.
The landlord is friendly and helpful, the house is clean and has got everything you need for your stay.
The quietness of this place is a huge contrast to the constant London noise and activity. However, using public transport the City of London is less than an hour away.
My daughter asked me on departure if I could buy this house as she liked it so much. A better compliment does not come to my mind. This accommodation is most recommended.

The house is a nice and small British one with everything you need. It's decorated and you feel like being at someone's home. Paolo is very kind and you can write or call him anytime. He always answers in short time and wants to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
The bus station is only a few minutes away, grocery stores can be reached by bus from there and you'll be in the city in 45-60 minutes.
Around the house there are many parks you should visit and hang out or go to the Themse to take a long walk at the river.
All in all it was a pleasure to stay there and everybody enjoyed it very much.

We really enjoyed our week in this Thamesmead town house. Our host Paolo, gave us a warm welcome and showed us what we needed to know about the property. He responded to all of our inquiries immediately, both before and during our stay. The house had everything we needed for a home base as we travelled to and from central London each day. Close to a bus stop, a short ride to the rail service that brought us into the city in approx. 1/2 hr. The beds were comfortable in the 3 bedrooms that could comfortably accommodate 5 adults. The kitchen was fully equipped with newer appliances, including a washer and dryer and all kinds of cooking utensils. It was very nice to have the space and comfort of a home-like atmosphere to retreat to after long days of sight seeing. We would highly recommend this place.

A Great Place to Stay
The positives:
The owner, Paolo, was incredibly friendly and helpful. There were all kinds of resources left for renters at the suite - bus routes, delivery menus, nearby businesses, etc. Paolo also provided eectrical adaptor/converters which came in handy. The bedrooms were great - full closets with hangers, dressers, night stands, and the beds werecomfortable. The kitchen is amazing and it was so nice having a backyard to enjoy in the evenings. Transit was easily navigated and runs around the clock.
The negatives: water pressure is AWFUL. As three women with long/thick hair, it was impossible to wash the shampoo and conditioner out. Showers look more like a birdbath, and even bathing was difficult as it took 30 mins of continuously running the taps to even get the tub HALF full. This also resulted in laundry taking an incredibly long time to complete. The unit is far removed from any tourist locations, and any locals we spoke to were appalled that we were staying in that area. (That being said, it struck us as mostly snobbery as we never felt unsafe while walking, even at night).
Overall, this is a great place to stay if you're on a budget, and don't need immediate access to central London.

Thank you for reporting the problem you encountered with the reduced water pressure - this is most inconvenient. This was resolved, and the reduced pressure was found to be due one of the two water storage tanks in the loft being out of order due to a forgotten bung left behind following the last service ! If only we had known sooner, I am certain we would have resolved the problem for you.
UPDATE April 2018. We are pleased to inform that the bathroom has been re-renewed with "Bathstore" fittings and tiles, and new booster pump for optimum pressure, as part of a scheduled refurbishment of the house.
Rustige buurt met veel groen op een half uur reizen met OV naar de Londonse City. Supermarkten op 3 haltes, en kleine winkels op 10 minuten lopen. Inrichting van huis gedateerd maar netjes, schoon en ruim. Eigenaar Paolo zeer behulpzaam. Woont even verderop in de straat.
Découverte des monuments historiques de Londres, des jardins royaux, châteaux.... boutiques. Escapade en métro et bus. Beaucoup de plaisir à découvrir ce pays et la population attentionnée et serviable, respectueux ☺️" you are wellcome" . So british. Expérience à renouveler

Nicht wie erwartet...
Wir waren zu 5 (2 Erwachsene+3 Teenager) für eine Woche im Juli da.
Meiner Meinung nach:
Der Check-In war unkompliziert. Nach vorheriger Absprache, konnten wir auch früher ins Haus.
Das haus ist bereits sehr betagt und könnte einige Reparaturen gebrauchen. Das Sofa verschlingt einen und der Teppich auf der Treppe und oben ist eklig. Der Durchlauferhitzer macht höllischen Lärm. Der Garten hat bestimmt auch schon mal besser ausgesehen. Es ist zwar für 6 Personen alles da, aber mehr auch nicht. Geschirr ist abgezählt und zusammengewürfelt. Spülmaschiene fehlt, das war aber nicht schlimm.
Das sind nur ein paar Beispiele.
Die Umgebung ist okay. Es gibt einen schönen Pfad an der Themse entlang und zum Einkaufen ist es nicht weit. Wir sind mit dem Uberboat in die City gefahren was wirklich toll war.
Für die Summe was bezahlt wird, haben wir schon weitaus bessere Unterkünfte gehabt und würden hierher nicht wieder kommen.

Es ist zu empfehlen. Die Gegend ist ruhig. Die Unterkunft ist geräumig und ist gut eingerichtet. Alles was wir gebraucht haben, haben wir gefunden. Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich finde Preis und und Leistung sind gut. Kann ich nur empfehlen.
Die Absprachen vor der Reise haben gut funktioniert. Der Check-In erfolgte persönlich und zur vereinbarten Zeit. Das Haus war für uns 6 Personen 2 Erw. + 4 Kinder gerade ausreichend. Es war alles da, was man braucht. Wir hätten uns nur zusätzlich einen Geschirrspüler gewünscht. In der Küche war der Rauchmelder sehr sensibel, sodass wir zwei Fehlalarme hatten.
Die Busanbindung an Bahn und U-Bahn war hervorragend. Man braucht ca. 1 Stunde bis in die City. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.
Très jolie petite maison, très bien équipée. Attention toutefois, elle est éloignée du centre de Londres et les transports sont très chers. Incontournable proche de la maison : Greenwich et Abbey Wood.

Wir 5 waren gut aufgehoben. Die tfL Anbindungen sehr gut, auch zum und vom Flughafen aus. Das Haus hat ist etwas betagt und so auch das Mobiliar was dem ganzen keine Abbruch tat. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
We hebben een week gelogeerd in deze woning. Het was een oase van rust, na een dag in de drukte het hectiek van sprankelend Londen.
Het is een fijne woning die van alle gemakken voorzien is en goed bereikbaar met openbaar vervoer.
Wir hatten angefangen von der sehr unkomplizierten Schlüsselübergabe, die wir perfekt übers Handy abstimmen konnten bis zur entspannten Abreise, wo wir den Schlüssel einfach in den Briefkasten werfen durften, einen tollen Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist mit allen notwendigen Sachen eingerichtet. Ein paar Tage vor der Ankunft wurden wir vom Verwalter mit sehr vielen wertvollen Informationen versorgt. Der kleine Garten ist perfekt mit Hund. Wir konnten herrlich dort in der Sonne sitzen. Busstation ist in 3 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen, ebenso schnell gelangt man zu wunderschönen Spazierwegen am Wasser. Der Stellplatz für das Auto vor dem Haus ist sehr bequem. Von dem Stadtteil aus ist man sowohl schnell Richtung Innenstadt als auch Richtung Autobahn unterwegs.
Würde ich wieder buchen und weiter empfehlen!

Why they chose this property
I love the open spaces and leafy surroundings, and how the house backs onto a protected nature reservation, with a nearby pond with nesting Herons. The proximity to London and Kent, "the garden of England" has also been a draw. Travel is convenient whether using a car or public transport. The house was built in about 1989, by Declan Kelly Homes, and is well insulated and warm.
