Lots of character, very tidy and clean.

Family loved it. Car park can be an issue. Visitors are expected to do a detailed segregation of recycling waste and take it out to the bins.

Hi - I’m pleased your family loved the apartment. I supplied a stainless steel bin outside the back door for you to put the recycling in. I was happy to separate it after that… ! Detailed recycling protocols are part of most councils’ attempts to reduce waste going to landfill…. If I don’t follow the protocol- they don’t empty my bins and crates! Also there are steps to the bin area - meaning only 1 black landfill bin caters for 3 flats due to the awkwardness of bringing the large heavy wheelie bin up and down several steps … Hope the recycling wasn’t too onerous…. There is lots of on road parking and lots of competition for it! There’s a grass area opposite for temporary parking if necessary, and a paying car park that’s free between 6pm and 9am a 2 minute walk from the property, behind the town hall ... warm wishes, Françoise

Lovely apartment lovely village

Such a lovely apartment, everything you need to have a home from home stay, fully equpied kitchen with seayimgvarea. The bedrooms was spacious and confortable, loved the bath area could relax and soak with the trees in view, pleanry to do aorund yhe village and the pool in about a 5/10 minute walk away with a rota of opening times, plenty vars and resturants to choose from and can be anywhere in the area within 30mins to and hour so excellent location, the outside areas are relaxing but there is steep stairs to access these areas so not recommened for thos with mobility problems, as is the apartment. Washing machine is also downstairs to the aoartment thevonly thibg bad to say and this is just for us as a family of 5, it was just a bit to small for 5 people. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would definitely reccomend this stay

Staycation

Accommodation exceptional, everything you could need. Francoise was on hand for any queries that we had and was very prompt in dealing with it. Would say that there are some very steep steps so may be not suitable for people who have mobility difficulties. Very nice break.

Ashburton colourful apartment

Loft apartment with great character full of well chosen and interesting objects . Spotlessly clean. Quirky bedrooms. Beautiful garden to sit in . Need to be able to do lots of stairs and not be shy with the people you are sharing with. Owner was very helpful and caring. Excellent location to shops and places to eat and places to visit in Devon .Parking could be an issue but we always managed to squeeze our car in a space along the road. Overall a lovely place to stay.

Beautiful, renovated apartment and a very lovely hostess.

The very old house in Ashburton was renovated with lots of love and offers the hole comfort you need on holidays. A little garden with a picnic site rounded everything off. Ashburton is a very nice little town with many small and lovely shops and the perfect basis for a journey to Exeter, in the Dartmoor or to the coast. Francoise is a very adorable hostess who didn’t only surprise us with a little gift at the beginning, she also gave us many tips and suggestions to explore the envirmonet, in a very open minded and kind way.
