El Valle is in a superb location, nestled at the foot of the Carrascoy Mountains but only 10km from the city of Murcia and still only a 20 minute drive away from the beautiful beaches of the Mar Menor. Villa Morgan El Valle Resort is a fully air conditioned 3 bedroom Villa. A very bright and airy villa with South facing private heated pool and garden. This villa is on a corner plot which gets the sun from morning to evening. The villa is furnished to a very high standard with a very contemporary feel! The living room boasts high vaulted ceilings and an open fireplace, there is satellite TV. The villa has WiFi. Dining 'al fresco' is made easier with an outdoor built-in BBQ with outdoor dining and lounge areas. If golf is your fancy, there is a Jack Nicklaus course at your fingertips (there are 2 sets of clubs for use in the villa).

Great stay in sunny Murcia

Our Stay was wonderful, the house is very nice, just like the photos and the pool and the outsiide area is also great. Very nice to enjoy the sunny weather with the family. Barry was very helpful answering fast any question. We have overall a great stay and probably we will come back in the future.

Really loved our villa, felt very homely when we got there. Very clean and had everything we needed. There was even some floats for the kids in the pool when we arrived which went down very well. Some pool tiles were missing and more came away while we were there but caused no issues for us. Easy walk to the golf club and shop even with little ones. Would definitely stay there again.

Just had a wonderful 2 week stay at this lovely villa, it was spacious and comfortable for our family of 4. Barry was fab with communication and answered any questions promptly. Its in a really nice location and we felt very safe here. The shop on site had everything we needed and the on site bar had a good selection of drinks with the restaurant being reasonably priced with nice tasty food. I would defiantly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a nice relaxing holiday. Thanks Again Barry. :-)

Amazing relaxing holiday

We love to come away for a week in May after a long cold winter and this holiday has been perfect. The villa and outdoor area are superb. The pool was heated which meant we could swim whenever we wanted, ideal for my 10 year old!! The villa was clean and had everything we could want. The clubhouse was lovely for an evening meal or morning coffee. It's a great base to explore the area. Highly recommend.

Murcia July 2020

We had two weeks at the property. The location is great, 5-10 minute walk to the clubhouse here the local shop, bar and restaurant is located. The food at the restaurant is very good and fairly priced. The property was perfect for what we needed and was as advertised. All questions we had prior to and during our stay were dealt with swiftly. Would stay here again.

Golf Villa

Beautiful and comfortable villa that was perfect for our family. The heated pool in late March/early April was wonderful and enjoyed by all of us. Access to local golf was great. We rented golf clubs and had them delivered to our villa (which is a great deal and better than renting at the course). Communication was excellent with Barry before we arrived. The kitchen could have had a few more supplies - measuring cups, coffee pot, more silverware (setting limited so we had to keep hand washing to keep up). I had to purchase some basic supplies like sponges for the counters, paper towels and toilet paper. The pictures posted of the villla show a private back yard which is not quite accurate- there is no privacy screen blocking the view of the side street which was not attractive. A car is definitely needed and will give you access to the beauty of Murcia. We played golf at several local courses - they were all great.. Restaurants were fabulous and easy to find. Overall it was a fabulous trip!

Lots of positives but unfortunately some negatives too

Overall a fantastic stay....the villa had absolutely everything we could need and was spacious and very comfortable. The pool was fantastic and a really lovely temperature! The beds were also very comfortable and we all slept well during our stay. The area was very nice and super quiet. Having a Spa shop onsite was a major plus. The villa made a fantastic base to explore the surrounding areas and we would definitely recommend it to others. Fiona was a wonderful host with communication being very prompt, professional and helpful. HOWEVER....despite all these positives, there were also unfortunately some negatives aspects to our stay. On arrival we were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the villa. Fiona took immediate action by asking the cleaners to return but they did not rectify the problem. The bed sheets were stained and dirty and there were used tissues, dead cockroaches and a ton of dust and dirt under the beds. The pool was also not cleaned while we were there and by the end of our stay was full of dirt and leaves. There were also A LOT of pool tiles missing and more lifting that we had to be careful of when swimming so we did not injure ourselves. Lastly, the information book provided was disgusting with all the pages stuck together and the folder was very outdated with some information almost 15 years old! Overall, we did have a good stay but there were just a few things that would have improved our experience, especially given the cost of the villa.

Thank you for your kind comments. I’m glad you had a fantastic stay. With regards to the pool tiles this can happen annually with the water circulating it removes the pool grout from the tiles. These are replaced off season as the pool has to be empty for two weeks for the tile grout to dry. It is common to all swimming pools. I am surprised at your comments about the cleanliness of the villa. We pride ourselves on the upkeep and cleanliness of the villa. We sent the cleaners in before and after your arrival. The cleaners called in after you arrived, you were out. They were surprised at the sheets of kitchen roll rolled up in balls and thrown under three of the beds. The cleaners say the tissues weren’t under the beds when they left the villa before you arrived. There also seemed to be pen marks on the bed sheets that were not on the beds when the cleaners left that morning. The cleaners changed all the linen after your arrival while you were out. You will see from previous reviews that guests are always very happy with the cleanliness of the villa. The pool maintenance man was also in attendance at the villa while you were out, he calls when the pool is not being used so as not to disturb guests who are swimming/sunbathing etc. What he does is check chlorine levels etc , leaves blowing into the pool can happen after his departure. I can’t help but feel there was an ulterior motive with this review……………

Barry and Fiona Morgan, married in 1990, we have 4 children aged 13-23. We love holidaying as it allows us to indulge in our favourite hobbies, namely - relaxing, eating, drinking and golf. There are numerous clean, safe, sandy beaches 25 mins drive away. It is very peaceful but close to the action! We drive into Murcia City quite a lot. It's a 20 minute drive from villa to car park. There are lots of fabulous restaurants and there is nearly always a parade or a procession of some sort. The Easter week celebrations are spectacular. The cathedral is also worth seeing. There is great shopping too. So there is plenty to do no matter what your tastes are.

Why they chose this property

This region of Spain enjoys on average 320 of sunshine each year! Easy and cheap to get to with the low cost airlines. We often pop over for long weekends. Murcia Airport only 10-15 minutes away, Alicante Airport 45-50 mins. 22 quality golf courses all within a 15 minutes drive. A good selection of safe and clean beaches (Blue Flag) within 15 -20 minutes, as well as a good selection of restaurants and bars. Great seafood and steaks. No high rise apartment blocks, no high rise hotels, and especially no lager louts. Set in an area of National Parks with mountain views. This is a very traditional area of Spain. 25 minutes drive from the historic Cities of Cartagena (with its port) and Murcia (with its river running through) both are beautiful, with good shopping.

What makes this property unique

As keen golfers, the Jack Nicklaus designed couse is a super course and after a round of golf we love to come back to the villa with the sun in the garden/pool all day long. The outdoor covered terraces and seating areas offer shade from the mid day sun. There is also an outdoor covered dining table and chairs to eat by the pool including a built In BBQ. The finish of the villa and furniture is of a very high standard, and we carry out maintenace every year to ensure our standards are upheld. We have great wifi inside and out keeping all age groups very happy! It is a 10 minutes gentle stroll to resort centre.
