My girlfriend and I had a wonderful two night stay here in Feb, the barn is very cute, we had everything we needed, the location is great and the hosts were really easy to contact. Ideal as a base for exploring the Peak District, rural with good amenities nearby and very, very peaceful! Both of us can’t wait to visit again!
Beautiful little cottage that matched the description. Stunning location. Timely communication from the host Anne. Lots to do in the area especially if you enjoy walking.

Lovely setting however the views from the gravelled garden were somewhat restricted, nice size for a couple but the furniture was not really comfortable. Nice and clean apart from a pillow which what looked like blood on it Compact kitchen with minimal utensils Oven was broken which we were very disappointed, had to eat out which added extra cost to our break as our budget is very stretched now No Internet or phone signal so we couldn't get a message to the landlady Reform pub we went to eat is lovely but very pricey hence our budget is stretched, Massive drop to a brook or stream outside the entrance which is very scary , luckily a wooden fence is stopping anyone getting too close to the edge, I'd be a nervous wreck if I took children there.Overall if you want a sleep over place its fine but if you wanted to get away and relax and stay in like we wanted I'd look elsewhere
We loved Woodview Barn. The setting is fantastic and the barn is lovely. It's only a 7 min drive to the Roaches for shine great walks and about the same the other way to Leek, if you're wanting to visit the market town. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to stay in and cook but there also a lovely pub about a 10 min walk away if good prefer to eat out. Anne and Ken were very helpful. We'd love to book again.

Beautiful property. We arrived in the dark, so quite difficult to find. Maybe could do with name of property on the gate. Otherwise we had a fantastic stay and would definitely use again.

Woodview Barn was perfect for our short break to the South Peaks and Leek. It is clean, comfortable and spacious and is located near the edge of the Peak District National Park. It’s just over a couple of miles from the interesting market town of Leek.If we come back to the area we would definitely stay again.
