Lovely little holiday home
The holiday home was very clean and had everything that you would need for a short break. It was only a short walk to the private beach which was lovely and quiet. We visited Bognor Regis and Littlehampton both are only a short drive away.

Thank you for your comments and pleased you enjoyed your stay
If you are looking for a nice quiet restful break this is the place for you. Small but everything you need, quiet with very nice friendly neighbours. Clean and neat and just a stones throw from the beach. Would have no hesitation on a return visit. Highly recommend.
The property is small but has everything you need. We really enjoyed sitting outside watching the bees on the lavender this time. It's well placed for us to visit relatives. No towels except a hand towel supplied so do take some (we hadn't noticed that on the instructions). there were a couple of issues round electricity and internet access while we were there(I think we were just unlucky) but sorted out quickly. Nice place to stay and close to pubs, nice walks, very peaceful.
We didnt realise how small the bungalow was going to be.
Perhaps we should have checked out floor plan before we booked.
Lovely clean neighbourhood.
Friendly and chatty residential neighbours.
Excellent near by beach and sea ideal for family bathing.
These units appear to be designed for single people, but two people can certainly get by. The little kitchen is quite usable, and the bathroom/shower is nice. The bedroom is very small, such that it's difficult to get around the bed. But overall it's in a nice quiet location, with the beach very close by, and a pub and general store a short walk away.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
Dissapointed
The accommodation was nice but the cleanliness was terrible, there were cobwebs everywhere, even at the side of the bed. Needs a very good clean
Apartment was small but had most everything we needed.Location was great within short walk to the beach and the private community it was in was lovely to walk. Very quiet there and good nights sleep A few minor complaints was that it took us an email to the host to find the bath towels under the bed. They were rather musty smelling. We had already borrowed some from our relatives we were visiting. Could have used a supply of shampoo and soap for the shower. We bring our own luckily. Also no coffee or tea for the coffee pot. Overall was a good price compared to other places we stayed but the small touches would have been nice.
Anfahrt.
Gerne wieder ......
Perfect location for the Goodwood Festival Of Speed and a lovely area with the beach just a few minutes away. Parking for our SUV would have been a challenge if it had not been for the lovely neighbour that let us use her parking space too.
A very nice base for a week's holiday exploring the local beaches and West Sussex. A quiet, clean, cosy bungalow with all you really need. South-facing sheltered lawn/patio area is a big plus when it's sunny. We had a great time!
The cottage had everything we needed to have a lovely stay.
Parking is very tight, so anyone with a large car might have trouble. Fortunately on speaking with a neighbour we discovered she didn't have a car and was willing to let us use her space as well. She is a lovely lady but does prefer visitors to ask permission and not presume. Marilyn, the owner, was really helpful with any questions and very quick to respond.

About the host
Hosted by Appleton
Living in Horley, we are an hours drive to the bungalow, and able to look after the property ourselves. We often just go for an overnight stay to carry out housekeeping for new guests and ensure everything is in order.
Why they chose this property
The area is known to be the "sunniest" in Britain. Often, we have had rain and cloud at home, and arrive here to sunny blue skies.
People can enjoy a quiet sunbathe on the private beach, 2 minutes away, or walk along the beach, either way, to Littlehampton or Bognor.
Towards Littlehampton, you arrive halway at Climping, where there is a seasonal Tea Hut for refreshments. Westerly, towards Bognor Regis, Felpham offers sea front Tea Rooms and Restaurants.
The area has so much to offer allowing you to do as little or as much as you want.
We are still discovering new places ourselves, and welcome guests passing on a particular enjoyable day out, restaurant or walk etc.
What makes this property unique
Sea Chalet is in a perfect location, the beach and sea being a stones throw away.
The bungalow itself, is set back from the road, and often the only sound heard is the sea!
Ideally suited for singles/couples, it is cosy, uncomplicated and offers modern, clean decor.
Nearby stations offer a direct train link to London, local buses are close by, and a short walk away are local shops, restaurants and pubs.
It is also a perfect base for Glorious Goodwood, hosting The Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival, and Horse Racing events throughout the season.
A short distance by car and you are in beautiful countryside. Brighton and Portsmouth are a 45 minute drive and are both well worth visiting for a day out.
