Key West Get Away

My husband and I stayed here for a full week. The unit was super cute and just the right size for both of us. Everything was clean and maintained well! We loved the private patio that we had. We ate breakfast out there everyday. The outside pool area was a nice spot to relax and cool off! We will definitely stay here again!

No parking for handicapped!

Property was quainte and nice however parking was a nightmare! No handicapped spaces! I will NEVER rent anything again that does not have a dedicated parking space!!!

The right choice

The pool has a wonderful mix of sun and shade from the property's trees. The bungalow is very clean and comfortable. Amenities are good.

Fantasy Fest

The cottage was very nice, spacious for size with vaulted ceilings and private deck. The pool was nice, heated and a few steps outside our entry door. Duval street was a block and a half away, nice walking distance. Parking is minimal, 4 spaces for 11 cottages and are first come first serve or there is parking on the street. Check in was easy, pass codes for gated entry to main entrance and keyless entry for cottage. We would definitely consider staying here again for location and seclusion of the outside space.

Great stay!

We were pleasantly surprised with our room. We decided to go to Key West and started looking for rooms. There were not a lot of choices at the time. We found this cottage and booked it. I have been going to Key West for over 40 years, I will definitely go back. It's a great location and the cottage was much better than I thought it would be. I wondered why it was available, now I wonder why it wasn't booked!

Everything was nice and clean. However there was no soap or shower gel in the bathroom and hand soap felt oily. Bathroom could be little cleaner.

Perfect Location!

Rating Details: The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This quaint little place is perfect for walking access to the main attractions in Key West. It was a little dated, but mostly clean. As other reviewers mentioned, the hotel behind this unit plays very loud musics during their brunch time. It was kinda annoying, but if you plan on being out all day, it’s inconsequential. The community pool was perfect, a little sunny, a little shady and never too crowded. I’d definitely Italy recommend this place!

Great get-away cottage!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cottage was a very nice quiet spot close to Duval. Restaurants, grocery,bakeries all within close walking distance, as well as Hemingway House and other attractions. With bicycles you could truly get anywhere. There was parking on-site. The unit air conditioners were very noisy but kept the place very cool,even in 100 degree heat. Pool was immaculately maintained. Unless you wanted to stay directly on Duval, this was a great place. Rental staff was very helpful when needed. We never watched TV, but I assume they worked. Who watches TV while in zkey West? Lusting pictures make the place look larger than it is, but i expected that. I would stay here again.

Very much enjoyed, we will be back !

This cottage was perfect for us ( husband and I), plenty of room, simple amenities ( but it needs a full length mirror) clean, quaint , a nice little courtyard with a pool that was just the right size for an afternoon cool off or evening dip. No issues with noise levels, the roosters crowing was delightful and always made me laugh. It was actually nice to hear the band at the resort behind us , we jokingly said we were going to send paper airplanes over the lattice to request songs, lol! We loved all the vegetation & greenery around us, we were even surprised by a mango that fell from the tree while we were sitting on the back deck one morning, it was delicious by the way! This was our first time visiting Key West and now that we know the lay of the land we wouldn’t rent a car next time ( although we did enjoy driving from and back to Miami in a convertible!) as parking is very limited and there’s enough golf carts , scooters & bikes to rent, not to mention that this cottage is perfectly located to walk to just about everything. We highly recommend taking Lloyds Bike Tour , The Southernmost Food Tour, The Argo Navis Sunset Sail & Marathon Mermaid Snorkeling excursions! And we found the Fort Zach State Park was a very nice beach and picnic area. We look forward to coming back and bringing our family.

Key West Property

Great location just a short walk to Duval Street, which is the shopping, nightlife and restaurant heart of Key West. The property is clean and safe. We were fortunate to get one of the limited off road parking spots out front, finding a parking spot in this neighborhood or anywhere in Key West is no easy task. The Little Pearl, a seafood restaurant one block away is a a must stop for a very high quality dinner. The night we arrived after close to 14 hours of travel, we hoped for a hot shower before a late dinner, but the shower handle was nonfunctional and it was cold showers the first night and following morning. For the price we paid per night, there is just no excuse for this. There is also no excuse for the property manager treating me like I was an idiot the next morning trying to explain to me how to work a broken shower nozzle as my wife was washing her hair in the kitchen sink. After 61 years, I'm certain I know how this type of shower nozzle should work. The nozzle was fixed late morning, but the shower never did produce very hot water. A prime reason we book with AirBnB and VRBO is because you typically get more space than a hotel for a lesser price. The photos make this place appear larger than it is. It is a very small unit, good for a couple, but again, the price we paid was not equivalent to the size and comfort of the unit. Maybe the price was what the Key West high season market bears. Just did not seem to align with the units size and comfort level.

This unit was perfect for us. The pool was great. Located about 3 blocks from the Island Free Shuttle, so getting around was easy. The unit was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. We would stay here again if we return.

First timers in Key West

Perfect location and size for two adults. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials for our visit. We walked everywhere. The location is very central to the old town. The pool was perfect for some sun and a swim. Easy check-in and check out.

Comfy, cozy place with great location

Stayed for six days and enjoyed immensely. Very nice setting and beautiful pool. Plenty of bath towels and pool towels. Kitchen had all utensils, cookware, and paper towels necessary. Washer and dryer available on site. Back patio was wonderful for lounging and hotel and bar/music over the fence were not a problem--had live music in the afternoon and very quiet in the evening. Airport Uber was $20. Walking to area attractions was not a problem except for heat/humidity mid-day. Golf cart, scooter, bike rentals a couple of blocks away.
