Excellent location for ferry terminal. Easy access to main roads for exploring Lewis and Harris. Provided everything we needed unlike other properties we have stayed in. Having Sky Q was a great bonus so we could record programmes while we were out exploring and watch them later.

A very cosy and comfortable cottage

This cottage was immaculately clean, comfortable and cosy cottage. It is close enough to Stornaway to walk into town to enjoy the restaurants, pubs and shops, but is also a very quiet area. It is an easy walk to the sea.

Wonderful little cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the cottage. The house was spotlessly clean, well stocked, cosy and comfortable. It was in a good location, close to the town centre and ferry port. The host was easy to contact via email and helpful Many thanks!!

Well equipped and comfortable cottage

It had all the facilities that you would need at a holiday cottage. It was well maintained comfortable and a large garden at the back. Parking was on the premises, with good communication with the owner. Great place to stay for site seeing or doing nothing.

The island life

Excellent. Clean, comfortable, excellent facilities and an open view from the rear of the property. Walking distance to town and castle and the rest of Lewis and Harris easily accessible. The lady who looks after the property was friendly, cheerful, pretty! and efficient while the owner, Murdo Maclean was an absolute star throughout, easily contacted and helpful, especially when the weather closed in.
