About this property

Come and stay in The Old Mill Cottage at Little Walterstone Farm, Gower

The Old Mill Cottage is a converted corn mill finished to a high standard on our working farm. Sitting approx 1.2miles along a farm track this cottage really is in the middle of the countryside. The only engine your likely to here is the farmers tractor, all other noise belongs to birds singing or farm animals calling. The farm has cattle, sheep, ducks and chickens and lots of Honeybees so plenty to see. The Old Mill has two gardens one of which is enclosed with dining area at the rear of the property, the other to the side of the cottage has a summerhouse with BBQ area for our guests to enjoy.

Little Walterstone farm sits in the middle of Cefn Bryn (common land) so is perfect for those who enjoy walking, mounting biking, bird watching, or just exploring the beauty of the Gower Peninsula, the 1st area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the UK.
Little Walterstone Farm is approximately 1.5miles from the nearest beach, 2miles for a choice of two local pubs and 2 miles from the local grocery shop.

The Old Mill cottage had two double bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining space, We can provide a single fold out bed if required for an extra family member. Please message us before booking to see if we can accommodate.

WE NO LONGER ACCEPT DOGS SORRY.

Here at Little Walterstone Farm we have 98 acres concentrating on sheep and cattle. We converted The Old Corn Mill into this holiday cottage in 2012 to share the beauty of the countyside. The owner of the farm is Newton Woollacott aged 74 and still working hard! However with the trials and tribulations that come with running a working farm he has to have help. Which is where i come in, my name is James Tregoning i'm 39 and married to Jade and we have a two sons and a daughter. I've been on the farm since i was 6 and worked the farm for well over 20 years. In that time together Newton and I have promoted the farm no end! 3 large new barns, stone walls that could rival Hadrian and of course we built the Old Mill cottage. Newton has asked me to manage the cottage on his behalf.
