Beautiful Custom home on large private property. 10 minute walk to beach!



Private and relaxing retreat abutting conservation land in a quiet wooded setting. The home is the only building on a large private lot with plenty of room and grass for the kids to play on or to have a great BBQ dinner in the yard!

Our home is in immaculate condition and has been designed to provide a perfect Nantucket vacation. Short walk to 2 white sand beaches, private tennis courts and great location are only some of the fantastic amenities that set this home apart from other properties We take great pride in providing excellent amenities and outstanding customer service. On-island caretaker is available to assist you if necessary.

Five minute walk to North Shore Beach on private path, ten minute walk to Madaket Harbor beach, and ten minute bike ride to spectacular sunsets at Madaket Surf beach. Bike path leading to all parts of the island is one minute away. We are also a two minute walk from the Island Shuttle stop which will take you to most points on the island if you dont want to bring a car.

High vaulted ceilings, beautiful gourmet kitchen with custom cherry cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and all cooking accoutrements (owner is a professional chef).

Dine in either the inside dining area or on the large deck which features Long Pond and forest views. Living room bluetooth sound system, Hi Def digital TV and high speed wireless broadband access throughout the house. Please note that we do not have cable, we do have Apple TV available for you. Feel free to bring your own device if you'd like.

Master bedroom has king-size bed, private door to outdoor deck. Guest bedroom has two twin beds. Plenty of storage in each bedroom and lots of storage and counter space in the bathroom.

Outdoor shower adjacent to downstairs bathroom and laundry room.

BBQ, propane and grilling tools right outside the back door.

Great location

Great location - right near beaches and Linda Loring nature preserve with amazing bird activity. Easy to bike into town and pretty much anywhere on the island. Close to Madaket Beach for the sunsets and Millie’s for great cocktails and tacos.

Wonderful time on Nantucket!

This was our 4th stay on Nantucket and we had a great time at the Pineapple House. Great location near 40th Pole Beach, Dionis Beach, Eel Point etc. We really appreciated the beach towels, beach chairs and cooler being supplied for our stay. Thanks to Adam and family!

Wonderful family home

A perfect home for our family’s first time visiting Nantucket. Quiet neighborhood, close to town and beaches. All you need for beach days is provided, and the kitchen is great! Adam answered all our questions quickly and checked in on us during our stay. Would love to come back.

Cozy in Nantucket

We had a delightful stay at the Pineapple House! It’s a cheerful place for couples in a quiet neighborhood. It’s equipped with a well stocked kitchen for eating in. Stairs up to living space might be a challenge for some.

perfect, quiet location!

We had the BEST week on the island at the Pineapple House! The location is PERFECT for biking - the Madaket path is nearby, and it's a quick shot to the beach. Home was very clean and was equipped with anything you could possibly need. Fabulous kitchen!!! THANK YOU for helping us spend another awesome vacation on Nantucket!

Hidden gem

We absolutely loved the pineapple house! It’s in such a nice location and we thoroughly enjoyed the area. Beautiful walk to 40th pole beach and short drive or bike ride to Madaket beach and Millie’s! Adam was great with communication and we had zero problems. Everything we needed was there. The photography in the house was beautiful and it was comfortable for our family of four and our dog. Will definitely stay again!!

What an amazing stay!

We had the best experience renting from Adam and Monica. They are incredibly responsive to all questions. Check in and out was super easy! The location was incredible and the house was amazing! Very clean and comfortable - just as described. They have everything you need! We felt right at home. We would absolutely rent again. This far exceeded our expectations.

Great Stay on Nantucket

A great location on the western end of the island, but only a short drive or bike ride into town, and with a shuttle in season. The tennis courts are a big draw for us, as this is rare on the island unless you know a private club member. We went kayaking on the pond two minutes away, and walked to the beach. The kitchen is set up with everything you will need, and beach chairs and towels are available. The owner is very responsive, and the caretaker is just down the street.

Perfect getaway!

We loved the Pineapple house! It was perfect for my partner and I and had a couple visit mid week. We appreciated being able to have our furry friend too. The house is very thoughtfully decorated and had absolutely everything we needed. I appreciated all the labels throughout the house and even the charging stations. We also appreciated having the flexibility of a/c in individual rooms when needed. We would absolutely rent here again and hope to again soon!

This is our second time staying at the Pineapple house. We absolutely love the location. You can walk to a beautiful trail to 40th pole beach, quick access to south beaches and Smith’s point, and Millie’s. Drive to town is very easy and you can avoid summer island traffic easily. Love having shuttle option close to the house and having tennis courts access. The house is perfect for two couples or family of four. We loved taking our dogs for walk around neighborhood in the morning and down the beach path. House has everything you need, is comfortable, love having a/c and the outdoor shower. Adam is a thoughtful host and available anytime you need him. We will be back to stay at this wonderful gem!

Great location, Great property

Adam was excellent with communication. Property is better then shown in the pictures. Updates have been done to the family room and dinning area. Kitchen has all items need to cook anything. This property work well for our family of four. Real benefit of the property is the location that allows you immediate access to conservation trails and a path to the beach. During the Winter and Spring Nantucket Island can feel isolated but the location in a neighborhood with year long residents prevents this.

Perfect place to welcome us to ACK!

The Pineapple House was the absolute perfect way to welcome our family to Nantucket! Our experience was top notch from start to finish. Adam and Monica were so responsive and helpful through the whole process. We had our four small children and dog with us and the house was equipped for us all! The kids loved the backyard, meals on the porch and the easy access to the neighborhood beaches. The house is in a beautiful secluded neighborhood but also accessible and easy to get around anywhere. The Pineapple House had everything we needed a more. It was very clean, equipped with all the essentials and most importantly inviting for all. Highly recommend this special property! Wonderful week on Nantucket at the Pineapple House!

We just returned from a fabulous week at the Pineapple House on Nantucket and are already dreaming of going back. Adam and Monica's house is tucked away in a charming residential neighborhood between town and Madaket. The location was ideal for us (family of 4) as we utilized the Madaket bike path a lot! Lots of beaches within walking/biking distance. We did bring our car, but I would say you could get away without one if you can't get a reservation on the ferry. The house itself has many upgrades not pictured in the listing which was a pleasant surprise. We loved the large deck for outdoor meals and cocktails and the heated outdoor shower was a huge hit. Most importantly we were able to bring our pugs! I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet respite from town but still close to it all!

Decent house but needs better communication!

I am disappointed to write this review. We showed up at the house after a long day of travel with our two toddlers and discovered the house had not been cleaned - the beds were not made, there was sand everywhere, the dishwasher was full, the washing machine was full, the recycling and trash were full and there were no linens to be found. After getting the beds ready for our two young toddlers to go to bed, we discovered multiple snap mouse traps. This was very concerning to us. I emailed the owner and heard back within the day and he expressed he concern and said we would receive the house cleaning fee back after the week was over. After getting all of the laundry done and sweeping/vacuuming etc we were able to enjoy our week but it was a little unsettling that the house had not been properly cleaned especially with the current times. I have not received the money that was promised to me by the owner even after multiple messages. We love Nantucket but this was such a disappointment! We have rented on island many times before and have never had this issue before.

Wonderful stay, can't wait to go back!

The Pineapple House was incredible and so relaxing. We had our dog with us, stocked up the kitchen, and it made the perfect retreat. We rented bikes which were great for getting to 40th Pole beach via the pedestrian path, as well as Millie's and Madaket Beach via the bike path. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, and the outdoor deck, which runs from the kitchen to the master bedroom, was perfect for coffee and relaxing throughout the day and evening, so many stars! The outdoor shower features hot water which was wonderful. Adam was very easy to reach via email throughout our stay, and the welcome book and email perfectly outlined everything we needed for a relaxing stay. This will now be our preferred way to stay on and enjoy Nantucket!

Excellent Vacation

We just left the island after 4 weeks at Adam and Monica’s home. We have visited the island for decades, but this year wanted to bring the dog along - a large golden retriever. Adam and Monica’s home was pet friendly, within our budget, and close to both Madaket Beach and Tupancy. The home was spacious for the three adults and dog, and well updated. It came with everything we needed for the beach. We enjoyed a morning coffee or afternoon cocktail on the porch, as well as the privacy of the yard. We brought a car, as it is more convenient, but I did take the bus into town several times - the stop is only a few minutes walk from the home. Adam and Monica were responsive and friendly. I would recommend!

Lovely week at Pineapple House

We really enjoyed the beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed house. We travelled by car with our dogs but you could easily walk off the ferry with a small suitcase for clothes and the house provided everything else. We loved the beautiful neighborhood and the variety of scenic walks and proximity to 40th Pole, Madaket Beach and the harbor as well as easy bike rides to all else the Island offers. Many thanks to the owners and the caretaker for their very good care of us.

Convenient location; Basic no frills beach house

The location near Madaket, including Millie's, a short walk to beautiful 40th pole beach, and easy access to town via the Wave was ideal for our family vacation without a car. The house itself was your typical no frills beach house that could use some updating (including newer beach gear, which was provided). I guess I expected a bit more for the cost in terms of amenities, cleanliness and space, but the place came as advertised (and it is Nantucket during prime season after all). One of our favorite things was the easy walk to the beach to watch the sunsets with takeout from Millies.

It is a beautiful house in a lovely neighborhood.

The property and everything around it is very appealing. There are nice neighbors around but you are still given enough privacy around the property. I loved how updated everything is inside the house. The house is extremely beautiful on the inside and out. My party enjoyed the extra features the area came with. This includes tennis courts and a basketball court just across the street. I would most definitely recomend renting the pineapple house for your perfect stay!

Perfect week on Nantucket

Great little vacation house for a small family. The house was clean, well-equipped, and nicely furnished. Everything is there from beach chairs to towels, linens, and kitchen equipment. The location is terrific if you have a car (few miles from the beach or town) but not completely necessary; there is a bus stop right out front.

Beautiful home, great location, private and well appointed.

Everything in the home was clean, nicely furnished and well appointed. The owners have thought of everything. The short walk to 40th pole beach is a great walk though the moors and very relaxing. The location is private and very nicely landscaped. A short drive to many other great white sand beaches and swimming and we rode our bikes all over the island on the bike paths that start right at the end of the street. A great place for a Nantucket Vacation.

I am so glad to be able to divide my time between two islands: Hawaii and Nantucket. I spent my summers on Nantucket as a child. When off-island I manage a private estate in Hawaii. Our family includes our Labrador Retriever Fisher who loves Nantucket and is proud to carry the family name that is reflected in our community's name (Fisher's Landing), as well as our cat Laka who is just as happy to stay in Hawaii and relax in the sun.

Why they chose this property

Adam's family were farmers on Nantucket from the early 1800's, so our roots on the island run deep. His father developed the Fishers Landing community and we are so pleased and privileged to have a small piece to call our own. With the family farmhouse next door, this was the perfect place to build our second home on an island we love.

What makes this property unique

The Fishers Landing neighborhood is very peaceful and we love visiting during the change in seasons. It's a pleasure to walk in our community and environs due to all the conservation land in the area. We love being so close to the water and enjoy walking to the beach and taking out the boat.
