WE ARE REGISTERED AS A RENTAL PROPERTY WITH THE VALENCIAN TOURIST AUTHORITY REF VT-472219-A

Well Presented 1 bedroom first floor with steps, self catering holiday apartment with balcony, which sleeps up to 4 guests and is located on an immaculate private complex, boasting one of the largest swimming pools in the area which is available throughout the year, and is surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens.
Beds can be joined singles to make a 6ft bed or can be split to twins if necessary, with a sofabed that can take 1 adult or 2 children.
New PVC windows with shutters and mosquito nets, completed in April 2022, help make the apartment bright and airy.
The nearby bars and restaurants are 5 minutes walk, however be aware this does include a steep hill.
The hobs has been updated and a separate convection oven in place to make for better catering if you want to eat in, although the local restaurants are excellent value.
Please read all information as we would not want you to find the apartment is unsuitable after you arrive in particular the air conditioning is just a mobile unit.
We are approximately 50km from both Alicante and Murcia airports.
PLEASE NOTE THE €40 CLEAN COST IS INCLUDED IN THE QUOTES.

Great little apartment

This was a great little apartment with everything you need to enjoy a stress free break in the sun, it's a quiet location too which was a big bonus for us, and we'll certainly look to book again.

Perfect for our tay

Clean comfortable and well equipped apartment with all the facilities we needed (the hosts also supplied a selection of DVD's, CD's, Books and Video games). Grant and Pavla were both friendly and helpful and made our late evening arrival and early morning departure efficient and stress free. I would most certainly stay here again and highly recommend the apartment if you are looking to stay in the Villamartin area. Shaun

Late Summer Sun

Grant's directions to the property were perfect, it is situated approximately 10 minutes by car from Villamartin Plaza with La Zenia Boulevard a little further on. It was easy for us to travel further to the Mar Menor, Murcia and Cartagena, a car however is a must. The two pools and surrounding communal area are very well maintained and found all the apartment owners to be very friendly. The area is very quiet, the apartment benefits from double glazing as well as the mosquito nets and has a nice view across the communal area from the lounge and the private balcony. Pavla & Grant living on the development is very useful and the UK TV was a bonus. Instructions for the hot plate, microwave and washing machine would be useful for future guests to avoid bothering the owners and all the jigsaw puzzle pictures might not to be everyone's taste. Overall, we had a very comfortable 18 night stay, the bed/s were very comfortable and Pavla and Grant were excellent friendly hosts and we recommend this apartment.

2/10 Terrible

Don't waste your money.

Dave and Annie, the key holders, live directly below the apartment, at first they seemed a nice couple but after a couple of days that soon changed (My wife has recently lost someone very close to her this year so this was an opportunity to have a nice relaxing break). You have virtually no privacy as the stairs leading to the apartment is on their balcony, my wife was given funny looks by Annie everyday and made her and me feel very unwelcome. They both act like they are the managers to the complex, giving our orders to people, you could do basically nothing. You cannot use inflatables in the pool so I purchased a 2x3 polystyrene body board for my wife as she cannot swim only to be told by Dave that it's against the rules to use in the pool, even though people were using rubber rings and having ball games and their friends were drinking out of glasses, all of which are supposedly against the rules, so we felt like we were victimised. The room smelt very musty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The bed linen looked like it had already been slept in, the bed itself is very small and basic, the floors had not been swept or mopped for a considerable amount of time. The bathroom and the kitchen area I had to clean myself because it was very unhygienic, all of the plates, cups and glasses were filthy. I would have loved a nice cup of tea in the morning but as soon as I opened the kettle the water looked like dirty toilet water with white stuff floating about. It does state that a cleaner will be in every week, we never seen her/him once. The kitchen area is also infested with little tiny ants. Not a nice way to celebrate my 40th birthday, Holiday ruined!

We were sorry to hear Lewis did not have a pleasant stay. I have spoken to Lewis about his views and feel they are unfair especially to Dave and Annie. We have had only positive feedback from all other guests as to how welcoming and friendly they were. A couple that stayed earlier this year have bought another apartment in the complex they enjoyed it so much. Lewis did say he had only previously been on package holidays and I feel, especially after the numerous questions we were asked prior to his stay, that he wasn't really prepared for this sort of break. The apartment does get dusty as it is in Spain and everywhere is dusty when you have windows open to get a breeze through. Ants can also appear anywhere but they can soon be got rid of once you are aware of them. Yes the beds aren't hotel quality, but we have always made guests aware that they are basic. We are intending to move to this apartment permanently soon so we do have standards that need to be maintained if only for ourselves. Finally if Lewis had spoken to us rather than just leaving the keys on a table for anyone to pick up, maybe we may have been able to help him have a nicer stay.

Apartamento sencillo, equipado con lo imprescindible para pasar unos días tranquilos. Con televisión y wifi. En una bonita y pequeña urbanización. Ideal para ir con niños. Con una piscina bastante grande, además cuenta con parrilla de piedra comunitaria. Sin problemas para aparcar. Muy buena ubicación. A 15 minutos de Torrevieja, a 10 de La Zenia, 20 de los alcázares, en Murcia, vayas en la dirección que vayas ninguna playa ni centro comercial está lejos... Los anfitriones Pavla y David un encanto. Siempre dejan café, azúcar, papel higiénico, toallas para el baño y para la playa, juegos, etc ... Esta es la segunda vez que vamos y seguro que habrá una tercera!! ...

We are a private couple who love both Spain and Golf.
In February 2015 we took the plunge and now live in Spain. We have an apartment and we live on the same complex so now manage the apartment ourselves.
We hope you can make as many memories in Spain as we have.

Why they chose this property

We love this area and had visited for a number of years before we bought.
It always seems warm and this is ideal for our passion for golf.
There are lots of great courses nearby. The beaches are just 10 minutes away and have all the the usual facilities.
This complex is generally quiet and a great getaway, however there are often children around during the summer.

What makes this property unique

With being close to 2 excellent airports we have flexibility of travel and no long drive after flying.
We love playing golf at Las Ramblas, Campoamor and other local courses.
The apartment also has sun almost all day so great when you want to relax.
The swimming pool is fabulous for a dip or if you want a proper swim.
There is a great barbecue area and a table tennis table.
