Excellent relaxing stay

Julie and James were very kind and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and loved seeing the sheep, feeding the chickens and playing with the dogs, especially Darcy. The Gite is well set up for disabled people. It is in a perfect situation for a relaxing stay. We would love to go back.

A great break!

This gite was perfect for our holiday, it is in a fabulous location, quiet but close (5 minutes) to a large town but in a beautiful rural setting. Lots of attractions nearby, amusement parks for the children, great beaches and close enough to the Normandie D Day sights should you feel like a day trip. The hosts were excellent, attentive when required but otherwise left us to enjoy our break. If you need a gite with plenty of space for a disabled guest, then this is your place!

James and Julie were gracious and the property had all of the basics. Unfortunately, we were there during a very hot week that was no one's fault, but some fans and better ventilation would have been very welcome. Some of the facilities were showing their ages and some upkeep was needed. Among the best features include bathrooms on both levels, the entire upstairs that is an open and light space, the modern washing machine and the amazing view of the valley.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weeklong stay at this lovely gite, located in a beautiful rural setting. It was well located for exploring inland and coastal areas of Normandy and Brittany. The accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was very wheelchair friendly , with a large downstairs bedroom and adjoining bathroom. There was a gap between the floor and the bed to accommodate our hoist.Our hosts, Julie and James were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Thank you very much.

Julie and James very much left us to enjoy the property but they were available if we needed them. They were very supportive of our needs. It is a spacious property, very suitable for a wheelchair user (our daughter). The property is set in a beautiful rural location with a lovely view. The nearby town and shops are approximately 5 mins away by car. The wifi was very reliable and had a good srrong signal. It is so nice to find an accessible cottage in france. We would definitively recommend this property to others.

This was our 3rd trip to this lovely Gite, the hosts are excellent and the Gite is a perfect location for a quiet retreat whilst close enough to a large town. We will definitely be back and find that the break is excellent value for money. The huge garden is perfect for children to run around safely and the Gite has everything you need for a relaxing week away!

Nous avons étés accueillis par le mari de Julie, un hôte d'une gentillesse extrême que nous avons énormément apprécié. Le cidre bio, sans additif et fait maison qu'il nous a offert, était excellent. Le logis était propre et très agréable ; surtout il était très bien situé pour visiter les grands sites touristiques de la partie est de la Bretagne et de la partie ouest de la Normandie. À savoir, Le mont St Michel, Saint-Malo, le château de Fougères, le moulin de la See, etc. Nous avons apprécié l’absence de contraintes sur les locataires, ce qui est rare, et l’environnement, au contact de la nature et d’animaux de ferme. Nous vous recommandons sincèrement cette location.

Rustikaler Charme, sehr ruhig gelegen, aber viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und viel Lebensart in einem Umkreis von 5-30 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Vermieter sind herzlich und einfach wundervoll. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au milieu de la campagne, avec un entourage d'animaux (chiens, moutons, poules, chèvres et vaches à proximité) avec une magnifique vue. Nous avons mangé dans de la belle vaisselle anglaise. Par contre, il n'y a plus de trampoline, ni toboggan pour les enfants comme annoncés sur votre site Abritel.

Peaceful location with local town minutes away

Lovely place, large garden area (field!) outside of the door. Town is a couple of minutes drive, has McDonald's, lidl, Market. Cooking utensils, microwave and everything else you could need. Lovely owners, gave us ideas of where to go if we wanted to go out fir the day.

Peaceful Accessible Property

Well appointed, everything required for a wheelchair user. Comfortable living room. Friendly informative hosts live next door with 2 friendly wee dogs that came to visit daily. Kitchen scraps fed to the chickens and goats added to our enjoyment. The gite is a good position for visiting Normandy, Northern coast is achievable too.
