Cozy Renovated Apt In a typical barn w/Stunning Views-Surrounded By Nature

On lake Como hills, overlooking Mezzegra Centro Lago, this unique property is surrounded by green fields, olive grove, nature and peace providing total privacy! Ideal for a relaxing holiday, still not too far from the centre and the lake. Enjoy the garden with tables, chairs, gazebo, offering amazing views. The apartment has been tastefully renovated, in a cozy mansard with wooden beams and traditional fitting such as stones and wooden elements. While you are here you can enjoy good hiking trails and easily reach climbing spots: just behind the house is a short trail that brings you to the climbing face. The property position makes this place unique!
The apartment is 10-15 minutes’ walk from the parking, part of the path to reach it is steep.We assist you when you arrive, bringing you up to the site with your luggage with our 4x4 small car. We will assist you than for the departure in the same way. If you need a lift during your stay (for example when you have heavy purchases such as food and beverages with you), that can be agreed previously, upon availability of the driver.
When you are in Mezzegra, you can easily visit the beautiful surrounding area with beautiful Villa Carlotta museum and gardens, Villa Balbianello, Bellagio and Varenna taking a boat or a ferry over, everything is only a short drive away. The lake and beaches are not far as well. In the centre of the village you will find a supermarket, a baker, bars and restaurants.
We really love it here and look forward to sharing this place and its beautiful landscape with people who will enjoy it as well as we do.

This place is paradise! So beautiful and well taken care of. Surrounded by nature and gorgeous views

We had an amazing stay. The place was beyond our expectations, we wished we had stayed longer. Ilaria and her family were very welcoming and very nice to us. The house was very well kept and super clean. Waking up and going to bed every day with those views were sure fantastic. Thank you!

Ein absoluter Traum am Comer See! Das Apartment mit seinem atemberaubenden Seeblick hat all unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Wohnung war nicht nur top ausgestattet, sondern auch blitzsauber und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet – es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Ein perfekter Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen und neue Energie zu tanken. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen definitiv wieder!

Straordinario

Nous avons été très chaleureusement accueillis par Ilaria et son papa Renato qui nous a raconté l'histoire familiale du gîte. La maison est bien équipée,très propre et décorée avec goût. Le superbe jardin offre plusieurs endroits de détente et surtout une vue à couper le souffle sur le lac et ses villages. Il est rempli d'odeurs d'origan et de romarin,un vrai bonheur pour le nez et les yeux! La montée depuis l'église parmi les oliviers rajoute au charme incontestable de l'endroit. Parfait pour les amoureux de la nature. Magnifique et magique,nous y reviendrions avec un grand plaisir.

Super schön

Wir hatten super schöne 8 Tage am Comer See. Die Wohnung war wirklich ein Highlight. Die Aussicht und Ruhe war unvergleichbar.Von der teilweisen hecktig des Sees war oben nichts zu spüren.Natürlich ist der Fußweg zur Wohnung etwas „Arbeit“ aber auch wunderschön und in 10 bis 15 min gut zu schaffen.

Très agréable séjour

Das Haus liegt unglaublich, man sollte einigermaßen fit sein für den weg, wir haben es aber auch bei 30 Grad in 15 Minuten gut geschafft. Super ruhig ubd traumhafte Aussicht. Nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter!

Die Ruhe der Berge

Wer Erholung abseits der Touristen-Massen sucht und trotzdem schnell alle wichtigen Orte der Region erreichen will, ist hier genau richtig. Man erreicht das Haus nach etwa 10 Gehminuten, eine Anfahrt auf eigene Faust ist wegen der Straße nicht möglich. Man sollte gut zu Fuß sei, denn es geht steil bergauf. Oben angekommen, erwartet einen eine spektakuläre Aussicht auf den See. Mehrere Sitzgelegenheiten außerhalb de Hauses laden zum Genießen ein. Nach einem herzlichen Empfang bringen die Vermieter Gepäck und auf Wunsch auch die Gäste mit dem eigenen Auto am Anreisetag zum Haus. Bei Fragen war immer jemand erreichbar. Da es im Haus kein WLAN gibt, sollte man für ausreichend Datenvolumen sorgen, der Handyempfang ist tadellos. Danke für eine wunderschöne Woche.

Wir waren 1 Woche vor Ort. Die Lage mit diesem Ausblick ist einfach nur genial. Der Empfang und die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war herzlich und und hat reibungslos geklappt. Der Aufstieg zum Haus dauert ca. 15min und ist schon phasenweise etwas steil, dass hat uns aber nicht gestört 😊. Der fantastische Ausblick und die Ruhe waren überragend. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Wer steile Anstiege nicht scheut, wird mit zauberhaften Ausblicken belohnt

Die Vermieterin Ilaria und ihre Familie haben uns sehr gut betreut. Die Mansardenwohnung ist mit allem Nötigen aber auch liebevoll ausgestattet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Am liebsten haben wir zum Frühstück bzw. Abendessen auf unserer überdachten Terrasse gesessen und die Seele baumeln lassen beim fantastischen Anblick über den wunderschönen See. Uns war bekannt, dass wir unsere Wohnung hoch über dem See nur über anstrengende Pfade erreichen konnten. Unsere Fitness nach dem Urlaub ist jetzt richtig gut.

Idyll über dem See

Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht und genossen den 2-wöchigen Aufenthalt hier sehr. Das Objekt ist ein wunderbarer Ort, der den Aufstieg täglich wert ist. Der Garten ist sehr geschmackvoll angelegt, der Ausblick spektakulär und die Einrichtung der Ferienwohnung liebevoll, originell und umfassend. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr herzlich und unkompliziert.

Schöner Urlaub am Comer See

Meine Schwester und ich hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub. Wie in anderen Bewertungen zu entnehmen ist, hat der Austausch mit den Gastgebern wunderbar funktioniert. Sie waren stets offen, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Empfehlenswert sind die Restaurants in der Nähe, deren Visite Karten im Wohnzimmer zu finden sind. Auch wenn der Aufstieg zur Unterkunft bei der Hitze anstrengend war, hat sich dieser gelohnt, vor Allem für den Ausblick. Das einzige, was noch verbessert werden könnte, wären Fliegengitter an den Fenstern. Dann wären die Temperaturen (gerade nachts) angenehmer und es würden keine Insekten hereinkommen. Incroyable vue

Merci à Ilaria et Renato pour leur accueil chaleureux. Leur très belle maison est très agréable, la vue est à couper le souffle... comme la montée 😁 Mais le paradis se mérite! Nous recommandons très fortement cette location. Maison très bien équipée, au calme, idéal pour savourer le lieu. On finit même par apprécier la montée avec les odeurs de thym et de menthe.

Ein schöner Ort mit traumhafter Aussicht

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit. Ilaria, Ambra und Renato waren sehr hilfsbereit und wahnsinnig freundlich! Auch unser kleiner Hund war herzlich willkommen, das hat uns sehr gefreut. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft und die Wohnung, v.a. die Küche, super ausgestattet. Man ist fernab vom Trubel, es ist sehr ruhig und eher abgelegen. Auch mit dem ein oder anderen Tierchen muss man hier rechnen (uns hat das nicht gestört) - so hat uns eines Morgens am Frühstückstisch im Garten ein Skorpion begrüßt und eines Abends lief hinter dem Zaun des Grundstücks ein Wildschwein mit Jungen vorbei! Der Weg ist schon beschwerlich aber absolut machbar. In einer halben Stunde ist man zu Fuß an der Fähre, ca. 20 Minuten braucht man zum Supermarkt oder Bäcker. Wir würden die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder, wenn es uns wieder an den Comer See zieht :-)

Wunderschöne Wohnung mit traumhaften Garten und super Ausblick

Bei Ankunft wurden wir super pünktlich und sehr freundlich von Ilaria und Ihrer Familie am vereinbarten Treffpunkt abgeholt und mitsamt unserem Gepäck ins Häuschen transportiert. Die Wohnung ist schön, die Küche etwas spartanisch (Eine Größere Salatschüssel fehlt leider), der Garten ist ein Traum (!!) und der Ausblick fantastisch. Der Fußmarsch zum Parkplatz wo unser Auto stand war in 10min zu bewältigen und führt durch einen Olivenhain/Ziegenweide. Alles in allem hatten wir wunderschöne Tage und konnten die Seele so richtig baumeln lassen! Unser Abtransport war ebenso unkompliziert und wieder pünktlichst. Werden es definitv unseren Freund:innen empfehlen!

Ein Ort zum Verbleiben und Entspannen!

Die Lage ist einmalig und der Blick, (auch abends!) ist atemberaubend! Die Besitzer waren alle sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend! Der Anstieg zur Wohnung ist zwar sehr anstrengend aber wir haben es nicht als Belastung sondern als Bewegung zum fitt werden betrachtet! Unsere Empfehlung: bei der Anreise kaufen Sie alles was Sie brauchen!! Und bringen Sie Wanderstöcke mit! Es erleichtert enorm den Anstieg ! Wir haben nur Internetanschluss vermisst !Ansonsten haben wir unseren Aufenthalt beim "Tunon Lake View " sehr genossen!!

Great wiewpoint

This property lays in lonely quiet and green place. There is a breathtaking view from gazebo and from whole garden (orchard) over the town and lake. Apartment is comfortable and in typical Italien country style. Stove is powerfull enough for cold days in the spring. I cannot recomended it for elderly peope with owerweight because a way from parking to appartment takes about 15 minutes and it is steep! The hosts can pick up you by special car but call them twice a day ...? Sorry for my English.

Großartiges Erlebnis

Der Urlaub war eine perfekte Kombination aus Natur und Freizeit. Ein wunderbares Haus mit einer kaum zu beschreibenden Aussicht über den Comer See. Lange kann man die Sicht über den See schweifen lassen und es wird nie langweilig. Wirklich ein großartiges Erlebnis. Tagesausflüge entlang des Sees bieten sich an und es gibt sehr gute Wanderwege. Alles zusammen war es ein sehr guter Aufenthalt. Die Gastgeber waren in jeder Hinsicht sehr nett und hilfreich. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und es gab einen sehr schönen Garten mit vielen Kräutern und Blumen.

Mum and dad are the owners of this lovely barn. They were born here in Mezzegra about 60 years ago. The barn was owned by my grandfather and was a cowshed for a long time. Than it remained empty for years, until my father, once retired, decided to restore it. So my mum and dad started the renovation: my father personally worked side by side with the builders to make sure the house could become as pretty as possible. They have 1 son and 2 daughters, they splitted the house into 3 apartments. We are a friendly family, who love getting to know new people and new cultures. We love it here! We wish to start renting out this place to those who love nature and peace, to share this place and its beautiful landscape with people who will appreciate it and will enjoy it as well as we do.. so enjoy!
