This picturesque 16th century holiday house called Le Moulin Bas is situated just outside the small village Vileneuvette on the southern countryside in France, in the Languedoc region.

Le Moulin Bas is the perfect place for you to come with your family and/or friends for a relaxing holiday. The house offers all the modern amenities you will need for a comfortable vacaction combined with the beautiful antique arcitecture and typical countryside surrounding.

There are large commun areas for dining, relaxing by the pool and doing yoga. The pool area is made up by a beautiful pool in nature stone, an semi-outside kitchen, diningarea and sunbeds.

There is a large garden surrounding the house and you will have complete privacy. There are mountain bikes for you to use around the area that offers a lot of nice trails for every level.

Little piece of paradise

We were 4 families and a dog and loved the place a lot. Very nicely renovated old mill with actually two separate units. So the teenagers stayed in the smaller unit with two bedrooms and a living room ( also been used as a bedroom) and a kitchen ( surprisingly enough not being used by the teenagers). The rest stayed in the bigger part of the house with four bedrooms. The kitchen in the house was very well equipped, including oyster knifes, but we hardly ever used it. The kitchen next to the pool was the place to cook! The pool area and the garden ( more like a park) are fantastic. We had so much fun there, so it was hard to convince the kids to go somewhere else. The house is within walking distance to Villeneuvette and you can walk there though the fields. There is a great bakery in Clermont d Herault which is just a 10 minutes drive. Serge, the housekeeper and gardener was helpful and discrete. Clara was always responding to messages within minutes! Thank you very much! Nothing to do with the house: It’s really difficult/ almost impossible to make a reservation in a restaurant for 14 people, at least in August. So we had to cook everyday in the great outdoor kitchen.

Amazing paradise

This place is amazing, surrounded by nature, a river and beautiful centennial trees. The house has everything and beyond you will expect. Great kitchen outside with all appliances and even a big speaker in front of the pool so we did not use the one inside. The bedrooms are beautiful and I can imagine even being there in winter enjoying the glass living room. We were 16 family members and had more than enough place for all. Kids enjoyed bike rides and exploring and we enjoyed the evening tranquility below centennial trees. The best week of the summer, hopefully we will return soon. Thanks Clara for everything!!
