THE LOCATION OF THIS VRBO COULD NOT BE BETTER!!! RIGHT NEAR THE BEACH AND THE FERRY AND MARKET AND RESTAURANTS!!! I CANNOT GIVE IT A HIGHER RECCOMMENDATION!!! ANTONIETTA MADE SURE WE WERE HAPPY AND EVEN HAD PATIENCE AS OUR FLIGHT WAS DELAYED AND WE COULDN'T CHARGE OUR MOBILE PHONES TO COMMUNICATE W/HER AS FAR AS ARRIVING SINCE WE HAD TO TAKE THREE TRAINS FROM ROME'S FCO AIRPORT TO SALERNO!! AND MISSED HER TAXI WHO WAS TO MEET US IN SALERNO....ALL WAS WELL THOUGH AND ANTONIETTA "FORGAVE" US THREE SENIOR CITIZENS FOR FINALLY GETTING THERE, LOL. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!! I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN!

Great location, nice apartment

The apartment is spacious and well located for the beach, ferry and town center. Check in process was easy. As stated in another review, the AC unit in the center of the house did not work but temps during our visit were not so high and the other units were able to compensate. Some items need to be addressed by the owner, one shower head leaks resulting in very low pressure, balcony door is broken/closes but does not fully function. When we notified host about some issues, we did not get a response and when we 'checked out' we were told to just leave the keys inside and close the door. We are seasoned travellers and users of VRBO so were a bit disappointed in the level of communications.

Ok place to stay

We chose this location for it had the following: air conditioning in the unit, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a washer machine. While it was not water front property, it was only one street away. Great location! Upon arrival, we had to wait for the property manager to let us in. We quickly realized the AC in the unit was broken. Only 1 bedroom had AC. We opened windows, but it was such a busy area, people were singing and just being loud until after 2 am, every night. The property had the AC looked at, but it was beyond repair. They did purchase a fan, but it only moved the hot air around. I understand things break, but one of the reasons we chose this unit was for the AC. It was very hot there the week in June we were there. The lack of ac made sleeping near impossible. The noise outside with open windows did not help. The highlights of this unit was the restaurant below it, on the ground level. The sandwiches there are amazing!! We picked some up every morning before we went on our adventure! It also had many restaurants to choose from within walking distance. This property was fine, it was clean, great location, it was just not air conditioned, as the listing stated. Had I known that, i would have kept looking for a unit that did have AC. I am still waiting to see how they will handle the lack of AC. Currently, they are not addressing it with me. Over all, it had the potential to be great. For location, location, location!
