Spacious accommodation

Lovely unusual large flat below renters house. In a nice area near to Queen’s Park. 15 min walk to underground which took us to all the main sites. Hosts were very generous and provided bread, milk butter, croissants, cereal and jams. Also loads of branded toiletries and handwash and extras like coffee, tea, sugar etc. projector screen was huge and great for my hubbie to watch footie on even had a little outdoor area with patio set. Owners very welcoming would definitely stay again

Small group of family came for wedding. Karen was a great host. We found water , bread and few breakfast items in the flat. Everything you needed was available. She even went out her way to get us a clothes steamer. If i am ever in London , i will definitely stay there again. Thank you Karen.

The apartment was in perfect condition, everything was clean and the equipment was perfect in all respects. Nothing was missing. The location is excellent, the connection to the overground, underground and bus is perfect and everything can be reached on foot within 9 - 15 minutes. Karen was very friendly and there was plenty of everything for the first breakfast. The apartment can only be highly recommended. Thank you for your hospitality

Great place

Overall, this place was great! The hosts were friendly, amenable, and generous. They provided us with initial food so that we didn't have to rush and buy food right when we got off the flight. However, there were minor issues: the living room is large, bright, with a huge screen projector but the couch is not a match for the place. The couch was not very comfortable and the living room was tiny. The living room would have been perfect had there been a sectional. There were three of us and not all of us could sit comfortably and watch television. Because the unit is beneath the main house, you can hear footsteps. If you are a light sleeper like me, it can be a problem especially on early mornings. Although the location was beautiful and in a great residential neighborhood in London, it took about 45 minutes to get to central London. Don't get me wrong-public transportation in London is fantastic and they didn't advertise that they were in central London. But thought this would be good advice for international visitors such as ourselves who are not familiar with London. Again, I want to repeat-the place was great and the hosts were wonderful and fantastic!!

The flat has been designed for 4 people with a 2-3 person sofa and 2 other chairs in the living room. In the past people have commented on how the space works, especially with the large projector screen and the sofa. Like most converted buildings, there may be some living noise from accommodation above, but we do aim to keep any sounds to a minimum and it hasn't been an issue for guests in the past. The transport links from Queens Part to the tourist centres of London are great and it's a 15 minute walk to the tube and then a 20 minute tube journey into the heart of central London. As hosts we are always happy to answer any questions prospective guests have before they book.

Nous sommes souvent allés à Londres ce logement est de loin le meilleur que nous ayons eu. D’abord un grand espace de vie deux grandes chambres et deux vraies salles de bain. Au calme tout en étant à proximité de tout, du métro, des bus, des restaurants des supermarchés. Le plus est l’accueil’ il ne manque vraiment rien. Nous avions de quoi prendre le petit déjeuner pour 4 pour une semaine !!! Nous avons pu cuisiner comme à la maison et surtout nous avons été très bien accueilli par les propriétaires, merci à eux, vraiment un endroit à recommander, nous reviendrons dès que possible

Schöne Wohnung in schöner Lage

Wir waren super zufrieden mit der Unterkunft und vor allem mit unserer Vermieterin. Wir sind in der Nacht auf den weg nach London gewesen und waren gegen 10 in der Wohnung. Und erwartete ein Begrüßungspaket womit wir erstmal frühstücken konnten. Auch die Möglichkeit eher einzuchecken hat uns sehr gefreut. Die Vermieterin war super nett und hat in ihrer Willkommensmappe einfach an alles gedacht. Unmittelbar in der Nähe gibt es einen wunderschönen Park mit Spielplatz was den Kleinen sehr gefreut hat. Außerdem sind alle Geschäfte die man brauch zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Wohnzimmer gleicht einer kleinen Heimkinoanlage und auch der Rest der Wohnung ist ideal für Familien mit Kindern. Wir können diese Wohnung wirklich sehr empfehlen.

schöne und saubere Wohnung

Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hat sogar für den ersten Tag das Frühstück bereitgestellt (Croissants, Toast, Butter, Marmelade, Milch, Orangensaft, Cornflakes), so dass wir erstmal nicht einkaufen mussten. Die Wohnung liegt in einer guten Wohngegend. Bis zu den nächsten U-/S-Bahn-Stationen läuft man jedoch 10 bis 15 Minuten. Wir waren nur mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln unterwegs und das hat super geklappt. Einfach nur Kreditkarte auflegen und durch den Eingang gehen.

Relaxed near Kensal Rise

Had a great stay in this well equipped and spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment. It was very clean and had everything one needed, including a large screen projector and an office space also. Great for up to four people and I would stay here again. Good connections with overland trains, but needs a bus ride to get to Notting Hill tube.

An oasis in London

We had an amazing time in London and the flat was the perfect base for our daily excursions. We arrived and discovered the owners had left us some tea biscuits, bread, jam, cereal, milk and orange juice. Their kindness was greatly appreciated after the train ride from Edinburgh. The beds were comfortable, the tub in the main bathroom was relaxing after a long day of sightseeing and watching soccer on the big screen was a huge hit. The back patio was lovely and private. Queens Park tube station was a short 15 minute walk and Swift Cars was a great alternative for those rainy days. There are a few grocery stores within walking distance. Thank you Karen & Guy for being such wonderful hosts. We'll be back!!!

Lovely flat

Absolutely brilliant place to stay in Queens Park. Excellent location and this 2 bed flat is well appointed and comfortable. Underfloor heating throughout is a great bonus. Kitchen has everything you’d need. I also really liked the little office/ work area between the two bedrooms. You can come and go as you please in privacy and Karen and Guy are superb hosts who’ll help in any way if you need it. Plus they’re really lovely people to chat to. TBH, it’s hard to fault this place. Looking forward to coming back one day. David and Gemma.

3-Day Stay in London

Karen touched base with us days prior to our trip there. On our arrival, she walked us through the suite and explained how the various appliances worked. Additionally, she made sure we didn't have to go out grocery shopping for our morning breakfast. Karen supplied us with milk, orange juice, bread, croissants, jam, and cereal. We were also stocked up on coffee, espresso, and various teas. A nice bottle of champagne was in the fridge as well! Karen really anticipated the various needs and quality of living aspects important to vacationers. The residence's welcoming/instructional booklet was personalized (a nice touch!) and contained detailed information about the suite and nearby points of interest. Karen was also available for any questions we might have had. The suite itself had a pleasant aesthetic, contained modern furnishings and appliances, and was well secured. An improvement would be the addition of a range-extender for the WiFi, as we experienced some connectivity issues and low/dropped internet service. Overall a fantastic experience! 5 stars for sure.

Hier ist der Gast willkommen. Damit wir am ersten Morgen nicht einkaufen gehen müssen war für uns gesorgt, mit Sekt, O-Saft, Croissant, Toast, Butter, Marmelade, Milch, Müsli etc. Auch unsere recht späte Ankunft war kein Problem und die Vermieterin steht immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, wenn man darum bittet. In den Betten schläft es sich herrlich und die Geräte sind alle hochwertig und top gepflegt, von der Nespresso-Maschine über Herd, Kühlschrank, Gefrierschrank, Mikrowelle, Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine und Trockner - stressfreie Bedienung garantiert. Auch sonst fehlt es an nichts.

Excellent! Second Time Staying Here!

We've stayed at several VRBO's but no one pays attention to detail like Karen. Karen makes you feel welcome from the start by meeting you to give you the keys to the flat and show you around. Also, Karen leaves food to get you through until you can get to the store to shop(bread, butter, jam, milk, cereal, juice) and extra paper towels and toilet paper so you don't run out. There are linens and after three nights the bed and bath linens were changed. Bath essentials such as shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are also provided, if you do not bring your own. I have just not seen anyone care for their guests like Karen. Our holiday here was absolutely fantastic! Thank you!

Comfortable, convenient for 3 - 4 people

Three of us stayed in the flat and had plenty of room. It was clean and spacious and Linda was most pleasant and helpful. The location was perfect for us. I highly recommend this flat as a place to stay in the neighborhood.
