Great villa for large group

A fabulous very large villa, set in beautiful gardens with a lovely, clean pool (the solar cover worked really well) and fab sea views. The villa was clean, well equipped and very spacious. Perfect for our week away as 3 families.

Family stay

This is certainly a ‘wow’ property from the moment you step in the door. Views from living room and terrace are amazing. Rooms are spacious and clean, so plenty of space for 3 generations to enjoy. The pool is lovely, plenty of sunshine and shade to enjoy. Variety of eating areas, a great place for families to enjoy.

Beautiful villa

We have been renting properties for 45 years and this villa was by far the most incredible. The photos in the listing are very accurate and we were not disappointed when we arrived. The kitchen was better equipped than anywhere we have ever stayed. We wanted for nothing during our stay. Nathalie, the property manager, was very responsive when we contacted her about some minor maintenance issues and they were quickly fixed. We would eagerly stay at this property again.

A little bit of paradise

Tucked away at the top of the hill. A large family villa with plenty of bedrooms and space to chill. Good sized kitchen with all the necessary equipment. Outside lots of seating and sunbeds around the pool which has gates for safety. The hot water was not always available but there were a lot of us! You definitely need a car.

Idyllic

We were a group of 12 friends seeking sun and relaxation. This house provided us with both. It was one of the best stocked houses I have ever rented. Surplus of cups, plates, mugs, cutlery, pots, pans. The sliding doors created a great indoor -outdoor experience. Had some glitches with water due to a break in the line but Nathalie was responsive and took time to ensure things were restored promptly.

Heerlijke woning. Alle ruimte

Genoten met kinderen en kleinkinderen. Mooie woning. Prachtig uitzicht. Mooi zwembad en dicht bij zee. Niet geschikt als je een handicap hebt gezien de trappen naar zwembad en de ligging op de heuvel.

Dejlig familiehus med skøn terrasse og pool

Huset levede op til vores forventninger med få mindre ubetydelige mangler. Rigtig god terrasse, pool, stor gasgrill. Opkobling manglede til TV med HDMI kabel. Dette ville have været rart.

Beautiful villa holiday

Villa Wanislas is a beautiful and modern villa with spectacular views. The photos on Vrbo were a true reflection of how magnificent the villa is. The pool is lovely, just the right temperature with shade on the patio and sun round the pool to suit everyone. The whole family loved it here. The master bedroom is amazing with wonderful views and a lovely en suite bathroom, and there are two further lovely double bedrooms downstairs with their own bathrooms. There are three bedrooms with single beds so the villa ideally suits three couples and their children, although we had two couples with their respective children and grandparents and great grandparents. The property has air conditioning which was lovely when it was hot, and had all the appliances you would wish for. There are several places for everyone to eat together. Overall a really lovely holiday, thank you for a lovely stay.

A beautiful villa with a stunning view

We’re a group of 13 (3 families) who just got home from a wonderful week staying at the villa. The view from the terrace is just stunning overlooking Herruda and the sea - we saw some beautiful sunsets during the week. We absolutely loved the space and outside pool - the open plan living/dining area and terrace is so huge that you can all be in the same area and it feels like there is plenty of room. The bedrooms are all nice, with sliding doors that open and well equipped with air con and shutters. Herruda is nice with a strip of restaurants and beach bars - the beach is gravelly/pebbly - with water sports and sun beds you can hire. We also went to the marina a couple of times for lunch and dinner, which is a pretty spot. We went out on a private catamaran one afternoon, which we all loved and we also took a day trip to the Aqua park, which was busy but reasonably priced and lots of fun. Couple of things to mention for info: you definitely need a car if you’re staying here, it’s approx 30-35 mins to walk down to Herruda but would take longer to walk back up and is a long, windy hill…there are not many taxis around so you need to pre-book. There were lots of mosquitoes around so bring repellent and citronella candles/plug ins, we all got bitten a lot. Nathalie, who is the manager for the property is really nice and helpful. We had a problem with a locked door when we stayed and she arranged for someone to come out and sort it on the same day. She also recommended taxi companies etc..

Ældre hus, som trænger til vedligehold. Mangler en udendørsbruser ved poolen og køkken er slidt og trænger til opgradering. Ligger noget afsides, så skal bruge biler for at komme rundt.

Villa mit herrlichem Blick und einigen Mängeln

Wie waren eine Woche mit der Familie in der Villa Wanislas. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt, um einen ruhigen Urlaub mit traumhaften Blick über die Bucht und das Mittelmeer zu erleben. Allerdings hat die angeblich "luxuriöse Familienvilla" einige Mängel und ist mittlerweile abgewohnt. Bei unserer Ankunft ließ nebem dem Zustand, beispielsweise fehlende Fliesen im Pool und alte ausgesessene Sofas, zudem auch die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig. Wir haben dreckige Böden und Möbel, unter anderem mit Flecken von umgekippten Getränken und Nahrungsmittelresten, sowie Haarbüschel vorgefunden. Kurzum, in die Villa müsste unserer Meinung wieder etwas investiert werden, hier soll wohl aber zurzeit nur Geld verdient werden, mit möglichst wenig Einsatz. Daneben ist die zuständige Hausverwalterin fast schon nervig. Wir wurden jeden Tag kontaktiert, der Höhepunkt: Bereits am Dienstag wurden wir daran erinnert, dass wir das Haus am Samstag um 11 Uhr verlassen müssen. Das ist unseriös und trägt nicht zu einem entspannenden Urlaub bei. Insofern können wir die Villa bei den geforderten Preisen nicht weiterempfehlen. Es gibt auch in der näheren Umgebung genügend Alternativen mit ähnlicher Lage und Blick.

beautiful house

We hade a wonderful stay in the villa for a week. The wiew over the mediteranian and sunset is fantastic. The pool was nice and large. House perfect and the rooms nice. Only thing negative is the distance to the ocean and center becuase the house is located so high up. You need a car for transport everywere.

Fremragende

Huset ligger øverst på bjerget med en flot udsigt over hav og landskab og sol på grunden og på terrassen hele dagen. Der er masser af plads i huset og værelserne er veldisponeret. 'Utallige' toiletter og badeværelser. Der var ingen støj fra omgivelserne, da vi var der. Et rent paradis for vores familie. Hvis der endelig skal nævnes mulige forbedringer, så var der myrer i køkkenet, og ved ankomsten blev vi pludselig tvunget til at skrive under på (endnu en) huslejekontrakt og lade vores pas fotokopiere af den ellers meget søde Nathalie fra udlejningsbureauet.

Traumurlaub!!

Wir haben uns lange auf den Urlaub gefreut und die Fotos der Villa waren sehr vielversprechend. Aber dann endlich angekommen, waren wir total überwältigt. Der Außenbereich, die Aussicht und die Ausstattung haben unsere Erwartungen absolut übertroffen. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche, zumal das Wetter sich von seiner besten Seite gezeigt hat und auch die Umgebung und Ortschaften uns nichts haben vermissen lassen. Vielen Dank an die freundliche und kompetente Betreuung von Nathalie. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen.

Propriedade excelente para umas férias em família

Tivemos uma semana de férias excelente em família. Éramos 4 casais com filhos entre os 2 e os 19 anos (14 pessoas no total) e adorámos a propriedade. 3 suites muito amplas (para o nosso grupo gostaríamos de ter tido mais uma, uma vez que as camas dos quartos restantes são pouco confortáveis). Uma sala de estar enorme com abertura para uma varanda de grandes dimensões, com vistas fabulosas para a praia e o mar, que foi o local de eleição para as noites amenas. 2 espaços exteriores com sobra e mesas grandes para as refeições. Piscina com mobiliário de apoio confortável (espreguiçadeiras). Cozinha muito bem equipada e barbecue a gás. Já não existe o quarto com os beliches que aparece no anúncio, os quais foram substituídos por 4 camas individuais. Viatura necessária para ir à praia. O único ponto negativo da estadia foram os mosquitos e as pulgas, provavelmente provenientes de gatos que decerto usariam as almofadas do mobiliário exterior durante a noite... Como balanço final, foi uma ótima experiência, que gostaríamos de repetir.

Schöne, großzügige Villa in sehr schöner Lage

Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur war einwandfrei. Schnelle und zuverlässige Antworten. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig und schön hell eingerichtet. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Lediglich der Kühlschrank könnte etwas größer sein, wenn man darauf bedacht ist, seine Getränke alle kalt stellen zu wollen. Dafür gab es aber noch einen zweiten Kühlschrank in Poolnähe. Der Pool und die Poollandschaft ist sehr schön und sehr sauber gehalten. Drei mal die Woche kommt ein Gärtner und reinigt den Pool und pflegt die Gartenlandschaft. Insgesamt hat die Villa einen positiven Eindruck gemacht.
