Lemmon Lodge Riverfront Cabin #12 with Private Beach on Grand Lake!

Our cabin, affectionately named Moose Haven, is a beautiful and centrally located property in Lemmon Lodge. Recently updated with all new furnishings and remodeled bathrooms, it is the perfect place to create lasting memories year after year. Listen to the Tonahutu River babble while reading, fishing, or enjoying a meal. Watch the sunset over Mount Baldy. A short walk away, stroll along the Grand Lake boardwalk and peruse the shops or grab a bite to eat at one of the many delicious restaurants.

In the summer, rent a kayak, paddle board or a pontoon boat to enjoy a day out on the lake. Go fishing at the point in Lemmon Lodge or fly fish in the river out the back door! In the evening, enjoy dinner at the cabin or a walk into town and enjoy any of the great local restaurants. Play badminton, volleyball, or horseshoe on the grounds. You can even kayak from our property to the fantastic Historic Rapids Lodge and enjoy a wonderful meal. After dinner, take in a show at our award-winning Rocky Mountain Repertory Theater. Get an ice cream cone at Grand Lake Chocolates or Miyauchi's Snack Bar while watching the stars glisten on the lake.

Winter? Grand Lake is a WINTER WONDERLAND! Perfect for snow activities, including snowmobiling and ice fishing. There is a free skating rink in the lake with boots available for free rental. Granby Ranch is a 35 minute drive away and is perfect for the novice to intermediate skier or snowboarder. The famous and expansive Winter Park Ski Area is a 55 minute drive away. Hiking, cross-country skiing, and snow shoeing available on the numerous nearby trails of Rocky Mountain National Park. Grand Lake is considered one of the best snow mobile places in the country, with rentals nearby. Grand Lake is also known for it's ice fishing. The fantastic Grand Lake Golf Course has been touted as one of the prettiest and it doubles as a cross-country ski area for those who prefer groomed trails to making your own.

We love the historic Lemmon Lodge in Grand Lake and are so happy to be able to share it with others. Growing up in Colorado, Grand Lake was a yearly vacation tradition in our family. Lemmon Lodge has always been one of the most sought after magical places to stay at when in Grand Lake because of its prime location to everything, yet still quiet and serene because it's setback on its own private inlet apart from the noise the town.

Why they chose this property

Our cabin in Lemmon Lodge is a terrific and centrally located property!
In the summer, most everything is in walking distance, but if you are looking for even more nearby the Grand Lake area you can hop in a car and within just a few miles you are in the Rocky Mountain National Park, which celebrated 100 years of being in existence in 2015. RMNP offers numerous classes for individuals, families or groups. Moose, elk, deer and other wild life surround our area. Hiking trails will keep you trekking for years if you want. If you want to try down hill mountain biking, Granby Ranch is only 20 miles away, as is Hot Sulphur Springs which has medicinal properties to soak away any soreness from those hikes or bike riding adventures.
During the winter, in just a short walk from the cabin, you can be ice fishing for Monster Lake trout or renting a snow mobile to ride around the lake! A short drive away is Colorado's best snow tubing at Fraser tubing hill as well as excellent ski slopes at Granby Ranch.
Will little ones be joining you? Parks are close by. Lemmon Lodge is safe of traffic and quiet with room to play. You will have access to a private beach where you can build sand castles, fish, boat, splash, and relax.
