About this property
Walk To Town, Lake, Private Beach! Gateway to RMNP on the LAKE
You found it. "Eagles Nest" In the historic Lemmon Lodge community of cabins, is a retreat like no other in a town you have been looking for. Tucked away for privacy, you can walk out the front door to the left and watch the river go by, take a stroll past a few cabins to the lawn to play horse shoes or enjoy the beach. Main street is just around the corner and a short walk to all restaurants. Grand Lake, CO is no big box resort. You can rent all kinds of water toys right next door.
Our cabin CAN sleep 6-7, IF you do not require individual beds/rooms for each person/couple. Please note details. There are three queen beds total (one is a bunk style) and there are two twin mattresses you can use in the loft (bringing extra bedding or sleeping bags). If you are accustomed to Grand Lake, then you know Lemmon Lodge - people pile 'em in as a part of the fun!
You will not find chain stores, chain coffee shops or any Jones to keep up with. You will find incredible mountain views as you enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine on the balcony. You will also discover local fare and ware, unique boutiques, skiing, golf, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, snowboarding, hiking, wandering, napping, reading and festivals galore. You might even take in a show at the incredible repertory theater. Girlfriends getaways, small family vacations, moms retreats, romantic honeymoon, silent retreat or solo escape. You have found it. Fill your cup...

About the host
Hosted by AnneMarie Anderson
We purchased this property as a dream... to have a place to fill our cup. Something as unique as our family. We wanted to seize the moment instead of wondering "what if.." for one more day. We had to have nature, variety, activity, rest and culture, all in one. We also have always been interested in offering that hospitality and respite to others. We know you need it as much as we do. Relax, invigorate, reinvent or play. Welcome to our Heaven away from home.
Why they chose this property
We've been searching for a mountain property for about ten years. We could not decide between remote acreage or resort town. Then, we rented a VRBO on Shadow Mountain Lake and drove over to Grand Lake Village and wandered onto Lemmon Lodge and knew instantly. It's as if this place found us... as it has found you.
What makes this property unique
Lemmon Lodge at Grand Lake is a one-of-a-kind community. There are other cabins in the community and yet it never has a "busy" feel. There is waterfront access to both the river and the lake with a private community beach, fishing pointe, bonfire pit (provide your own wood), horseshoes and breathtaking views.
You then can walk right to town and enjoy everything this incredible town has to offer. Grand Lake is fiercely protective of it's small town sophistication and does not welcome big box. Quality trumps quantity every time. We challenge you to accomplish all of the activities offered in the town and surrounding nature.
