This location is terrific and perfect for visiting the city. Close to all the major spots but also located in a quiet neighborhood with neighborhood stuff. There was just a little communication issues with the managers. I would prefer a phone call to sort things out because there were misunderstandings.

This apartment is quite lovely. It truly has everything you might need for a short or long visit to London. The only down side was that it was on thé forth floor (no elevator) and the master bed is very firm (to me). I had back surgery 1 week before this visit and these 2 items were a big deal to me but perhaps not to anyone else. The apartment was clean and fully equipped. I would consider staying here again if the bed were different.

Up until we arrived, communication was frequent with the Altido team, but the issue was that SO many agents were contacting me that details were incorrect as it seemed none of them communicated with each other. The flat was well-appointed, bright and cheerful, but there was miscommunication about our early luggage drop off. and time we were told to leave luggage. The food we ordered was not there and I had to call about it that evening. We were trying to make local calls for taxis and to reach the Altido number for help and no one was able to help us with the phone number issues. The final morning a driver showed up (not a taxi) and asked for some unknown person after loading our things, had been instructed to take us to the wrong train station, and charged us WAY more than what it should have been.We had been back and forth many times and knew what we should have been charged but he said it was Altido who set the prices. Not good practice I am afraid. The location was great as was the paperwork for the apt.,but communication needs work. WE have rented from VRBO many times and never had issues before. Thanks.

Great Location, Safe quiet street , Well appointed. Managers helpful arranging airport transport.
Flat is bright & inviting. While updated has retained the charm of the 100 year old buildings. Sits between Pimlico & Victoria stations. Easy walk if you are able. If not, taxi & Uber will pick you at your door. Very near Neighborhood shops with fresh meat, vegs & fruit, as well as bakery if you want to eat in or pack a lunch for sightseeing. Take away fish/chips 5 min walk. Post office and ATM also just steps from Shops.
Good place to come home to with a cup tea waiting. We rented our own home & have stayed in flats around the world including London. This is up in 90% approval. A couple of things to consider for 2 wk stay with 3-4 adults. Do only day car rental - no parking. if you are from the US , UK 2nd floor means 3rd floor to you (street is ground not first)- so this ‘2nd’ floor is 3rd floor flat. This flat has two flights of stairs - no lift for luggage or those with limitations on stairs. We knew going in but many Americans don’t.
Master bedroom large with great bed and storage. Bathroom is across the hall but with nice tub/shower.
The 2nd bedroom has 1 twin bed & 1 twin rollaway which is not comfortable, no chest/dresser or space for one. No closet (locked as owner closet). My sister used the rollaway to unpack. No floor space for luggage & under bed had pillow cases full of linens. Upside it had Small En suite with Shower. Bunk beds with wardrobe would be better use of space (if you can do the stairs your can do bunk beds) otherwise in my opinion flat not suitable for 4 adults.
Kitchen is well equipped. Dishwasher & W/D nice touch. The all in one WD may be new to you but it works well. What you should know this type takes MUCH longer to process a W/D load so plan accordingly.
For a two week rental one tea towel, one bath towel per person, one hand towel per bathroom and no extra sheets or towels is not enough. Especially when the house rules state NOT to help yourself to linen you find. Weekly fresh linen should had been set out at check-in.
If you are a TV watcher. There is basic UK TV with movie channels there is also a DVD player with movies. Library in DR with good guide books - so don’t pack a heavy book.
WiFi worked fine.
One last note. You don’t often see a family’s history displayed in photos in a rental flat with Childen & their country home. The mother & I are about the same age so it was fascinating to see her 50 year old B’day collage. Real or staged? We couldn’t decide.

Perfect Pimlico flat
This flat met and exceeded our expectations. We were 3 women so the 1 king, 2 twin bedroom layout worked well, as did the 2 small, but quite adequate bathrooms (one with a tub/shower). The flat has a “real“ kitchen with all the amenities of any normal kitchen, including a full size fridge and dishwasher. The separate dining room nicely sat 6, and the living room was quite attractive and comfortable. It is the sort of flat you want to spend time relaxing in and enjoying.
Pimlico is a delightful neighborhood that we’ve stayed in many times and always enjoy. Lots of nearby amenities (including quite good restaurants and take-away options) and an easy 5-10 minute walk to 3 Tube lines. And we never waited more than 3 minutes for an Uber.
We would return in a heartbeat.
