Holly Cottage is a splendid cottage near Alford in Lincolnshire. It has a double and a twin room as well as a family bathroom, it can sleep four people. It has an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. There is ample off road parking and a lawned garden to the rear with furniture. A modern, homely cottage set in a fascinating part of England.
Amenities: Oil central heating and underfloor heating. Electric oven and electric hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, Smart TV, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Enclosed lawned garden with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Pub 2 mins walk, shop 5 miles. Please note: the local pub 'Railway Tavern' will be closed temporarily until further notice apologies for any inconvenience.

Town: Alford is a charming market town in Lincolnshire. It is set just outside of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty about 11 miles north-west of the Skegness. There is a wide range of shops including a pharmacy, grocers and two butchers as well as a large shop which specialises in doll’s houses. Alford has become an important centre for arts and crafts with many markets held throughout the year. Alford is known for its Grade 1 listed working windmill, which is used commercially to produce stone-ground organic flour. Alford Manor House is a central point in the town, with its exhibitions and museum as well as a tea room and open gardens. With Alford being set in the Lincolnshire Wolds, there are plenty of walking and cycling routes to follow or even take a trip to the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway or Claythorpe Watermill and Wildfowl Gardens, where you will find plenty of birds and animals, with plenty of space to sit and relax with great views of the old mill. Within 30 mins, you will find the seaside resorts of Skegness and Mablethorpe, with great beaches, making a great playground for children and adults alike.
